Was ihr dem geringsten Meiner Brüder tut, das habt ihr Mir getan.... Täglich und stündlich ist euch dazu Gelegenheit gegeben, Gutes zu tun, ein freundliches Wort zu sagen, hilfreich dem Nächsten beizustehen mit Rat und Tat und so dessen Not zu lindern, die nicht allein aus irdischen Bedürfnissen zu bestehen braucht, sondern auch geistig der Hilfe bedarf durch tröstenden Zuspruch oder Leiten auf den rechten Weg, der aus geistiger und auch irdischer Not herausführt. Ihr sollet nur nicht euer Herz verhärten und eure Augen abwenden, so ihr Not sehet; ihr sollet nicht gleichgültig werden und glauben, genug getan zu haben, so ihr einmal Hilfe geleistet habt.... Ihr sollet stets und ständig die Liebe üben, dann werdet ihr selbst in euch das glückselige Gefühl eines Gebenden kennenlernen, der von Mir gesegnet ist.... der im gleichen Maß, wie er austeilt, wieder empfängt von Mir, und wahrlich Gaben, die ihn weit mehr beglücken als der irdische Besitz, dessen er sich entäußert.... Denn ihr gebet Mir, so ihr dem Nächsten austeilet, ihr schenket Mir die Liebe, die der Nächste von euch empfängt. Ihr könnet die Liebe zu Mir nur so beweisen, daß ihr dem Nächsten Liebe entgegenbringt. Ihr könnet es nicht ermessen, welch großen Reichtum ihr euch ansammelt durch uneigennützige Liebe, doch einstens werdet ihr beglückt die Wahrheit Meines Wortes erkennen und zugeben, daß es wahrlich nicht schwer war, auf Erden geistige Schätze zu erwerben.... Und diese Beglückung will Ich euch schaffen und euch daher ständig ermahnen zum Liebewirken.... Sowie ihr stets daran denket, daß Ich Selbst als Bittsteller vor euch hintrete, wenn ein Bedürftiger euch um eine Gabe bittet, wenn ihr daran denket, daß Ich um eine jede Gabe weiß, die in Liebe dargeboten wird, und Ich euch dafür mit segnenden Augen ansehe, dann wird eure Liebe zum Nächsten wachsen, weil Liebe immer Gegenliebe erweckt und Kraft und Segen in sich trägt. Was ihr dem geringsten Meiner Brüder tut, das habt ihr Mir getan.... Alle seid ihr Meine Kinder, und so die Kinder sich untereinander lieben, schenken sie dem Vater das größte Glück, weil nur die Liebe wahre Seligkeit bereiten kann und weil die Liebe euch alle zur Vollendung führt, die ohne Liebe niemals erreicht werden kann. Seid dankbar, solange ihr Gelegenheit habt, zu helfen und zu raten, denn noch besitzet ihr dazu die Lebenskraft, die euch aber fehlt, wenn ihr dereinst eure Versäumnis erkennt und nachholen möchtet.... Nützet die Erdenzeit zum Wirken in Liebe, auf daß ihr kraftvoll eingehet in das jenseitige Reich und dort wirken könnet mit den Schätzen, die ihr euch durch Liebeswirken erworben habt, auf daß ihr nicht schwach und hilflos seid und bitter bereut, was ihr auf Erden zu tun unterlassen habt....

"What you do to the least of My brothers...."

Whatever you do to the least of My brothers, you have done to Me. Every day and every hour you are given the opportunity to do good, to say a kind word, to helpfully assist your neighbour with advice and deeds and thus to alleviate his hardship, which need not only consist of earthly needs but also requires spiritual help through comforting encouragement or guidance on the right path which leads out of spiritual and also earthly hardship. You should only not harden your heart and turn away your eyes when you see hardship; you should not become indifferent and believe that you have done enough once you have given help.... You should always and constantly practice love, then you will know within yourselves the blissful feeling of a giver who is blessed by Me.... who receives from Me again in the same measure as he gives out, and truly, gifts which make him far more happy than the earthly possessions he renounces.... For you give to Me as you distribute to your neighbour, you give Me the love which your neighbour receives from you. You can only prove your love for Me by showing love to your neighbour. You cannot measure the great wealth you accumulate through unselfish love, yet one day you will be happy to recognize the truth of My word and admit that it was truly not difficult to acquire spiritual treasures on earth.... And I want to create this happiness for you and therefore constantly admonish you to work with love.... As soon as you always remember that I Myself come before you as a supplicant when a needy person asks you for a gift, as soon as you remember that I know about every gift which is offered with love and look at you with blessing eyes in return, then your love for your neighbour will grow, because love always awakens reciprocated love and carries strength and blessings within itself. Whatever you do to the least of My brothers you have done to Me.... You are all My children, and if the children love each other they give the father the greatest happiness, because only love can cause true bliss and because love leads you all to perfection, which can never be achieved without love. Be grateful as long as you have the opportunity to help and advise, for you still possess the strength of life to do so but you will lack it if one day you recognize your neglect and want to make up for it.... Use your time on earth to work with love so that you will enter the kingdom of the beyond with strength and be able to work there with the treasures you have acquired through loving activity, so that you will not be weak and helpless and bitterly regret what you neglected to do on earth....
