Austeilen des Lichtes setzt Verlangen danach voraus....

Licht soll euch werden, die ihr das Licht begehret. Und darum erstrahlet Meine Gnadensonne auch in die Finsternis, auch in der Tiefe blitzen Lichtstrahlen auf, damit das Verlangen nach Licht geweckt werde in den Seelen, die endlos lange schon im Dunkeln weilen und sich nicht allein daraus entfernen können. Sowie aber ein Lichtstrahl aufblitzet, wird das Verlangen in manchen Seelen rege, der Finsternis zu entfliehen, und diesen Seelen wird auch die Gelegenheit geboten werden; sie werden gleichsam hervorgelockt aus der Tiefe, und langsam und oft zögernd folgen sie dem Strahl, und sie werden dorthin geführt, wo Licht ist in Fülle, ihnen jedoch nicht in seiner ganzen Helligkeit schaubar, weil sie es nicht vertragen könnten, solange sie noch finster sind im Geist.... Ständig steigen Lichtwesen zur Tiefe, um emporzuholen, die bereit sind, ihnen zu folgen. Es ist kein Gewaltakt und auch kein außergewöhnlich-scheinender Vorgang, der die Seelen der Finsternis bestimmen könnte, ihnen zu folgen, sondern die Seele muß wie auf Erden willig sein, eine ihr dargereichte Gabe anzunehmen.... Das Licht empfindet sie dann als Wohltat, wenn ihr Widerstand gegen Mich nachgelassen hat, und dann wird sie auch freiwillig den Boten des Lichtes folgen, wenngleich sie in diesen nur mitleidende Seelen sieht, denen sie sich anschließen soll. Und diese Bereitwilligkeit ist Bedingung, daß sie von einem Lichtstrahl berührt wird.... Denn der Wille eines jeden Wesens in der Tiefe ist Mir bekannt, und unablässig sende Ich ihnen helfenwollende Seelen zu, um sie emporzuholen in Sphären, wo ihnen nun Gelegenheit geboten wird, sich selbst Licht zu erwerben und ihr Los zu verbessern. (31.7.1952) Erlösende Tätigkeit führen alle Seelen im jenseitigen Reich aus, die einen gewissen Reifegrad erreicht haben, die Licht empfangen können, denn Licht muß jede Seele selbst besitzen, will sie es weiterleiten denen, die noch in der Dunkelheit weilen. Erlösende Tätigkeit kann aber auch auf Erden ausgeführt werden, von Menschen, die durch einen Lebenswandel nach Meinem Willen gleichfalls befähigt sind, Licht zu empfangen und weiterzugeben. Sowie sich diese in wahrer Nächstenliebe der Seelen annehmen, die noch in Finsternis des Geistes dahingehen, reihen sie sich in die Schar ein, die erlösend tätig sind, und auch diese werden von den Seelen im jenseitigen Reich erkannt als Licht- und Kraftquell und darum auch stets umlagert, denn wo nur ein liebender Gedanke den jenseitigen Seelen gilt, ist ihnen dies als Lichtstrahl erkennbar....

Wo aber Liebe ist, ist auch Weisheit, Licht, das den finsteren Geisteszustand verjagt. Wo Liebe ist, werden die Seelen hingezogen, die Licht haben wollen, und wo Liebe ist, werden sie auch immer empfangen dürfen.... Sowie der Wille und das Verlangen nach Licht einmal in ihnen rege geworden ist, lassen sie nimmer nach, sie nehmen hungrig entgegen, was für sie Nahrung bedeutet, sie kräftigen sich daran, so daß sie stets mehr und mehr aufnehmen können und gleichfalls nun vom Willen beseelt sind, abzugeben oder Seelen der Finsternis dorthin zu weisen, wo Licht ausgestrahlt wird. Doch ohne Begehr kann nichts verabreicht werden.... Frei sollen die Wesen wollen, auf Erden sowohl als auch im geistigen Reich.... im freien Willen müssen sie zu Mir zurückkehren, doch liebreiche Hilfe wird ihnen immer geleistet werden, denn das Licht will sich ausbreiten und alles erleuchten, was vordem dunkel war.... Ich will beglücken mit Meinem Liebelicht alles Wesenhafte, das sich willig öffnet, um Mein Licht in sich aufzunehmen....

Giving out the light presupposes desire for it....

Light shall become yours, you who desire the light. And therefore My Sun of Grace will also shine into the darkness, rays of light will also flash in the abyss so that the desire for light will be awakened in those souls which have been in darkness for an infinitely long time and cannot leave it on their own. But as soon as a ray of light flashes, the desire to escape the darkness is awakened in some souls, and these souls will also be offered the opportunity; they will be lured out of the abyss, as it were, and slowly and often hesitantly they will follow the ray, and they will be led to where light is abundant but not visible to them in all its brightness because they could not tolerate it as long as they are still dark in spirit.... Beings of light constantly descend to the abyss in order to fetch up those who are willing to follow them. It is not an act of force and also not a seemingly extraordinary process which could determine the souls of darkness to follow them but, as on earth, the soul has to be willing to accept a gift offered to it.... It will perceive the light as a blessing when its resistance against Me has subsided, and then it will also voluntarily follow the messengers of light, even if it only sees them as compassionate souls which it should join. And this willingness is the condition that it will be touched by a ray of light.... For the will of every being in the abyss is known to Me, and I constantly send souls willing to help them in order to lift them up into spheres where they are then offered the opportunity to acquire light for themselves and improve their fate.

(31.7.1952) All souls in the kingdom of the beyond which have reached a certain degree of maturity, which can receive light, carry out redeeming activity, for every soul has to possess light itself if it wants to pass it on to those who still dwell in darkness. But redemptive activity can also be carried out on earth by people who, through a way of life in accordance with My will, are likewise able to receive and pass on light. As soon as they take care of the souls in true neighbourly love which are still in spiritual darkness they will join the group of people who are active in redemption, and they, too, will be recognised by the souls in the kingdom of the beyond as a source of light and strength and will therefore always be surrounded by them, for where only a loving thought applies to the souls in the beyond it will be recognisable to them as a ray of light....

But where there is love there is also wisdom, light, which chases away the dark spiritual state. Where there is love, the souls who want light are drawn to it, and where there is love they will also always be allowed to receive it.... Once the will and the desire for light has become active in them they will never let up, they will hungrily accept what means nourishment for them, they will strengthen themselves with it so that they can always receive more and more and are likewise now inspired by the will to give away or to point souls of darkness to where light is radiated. Yet, nothing can be given without desire.... The beings should want it freely, on earth as well as in the spiritual kingdom.... they must return to Me of their own free will, yet they will always receive loving help, for the light wants to spread and illuminate everything that was dark before.... I want to bestow happiness with My light of love to all beings which willingly open themselves to receive My Light....
