Bedrängen durch Erd-gebundenes Geistiges....

Das noch erdgebundene Geistige im Jenseits bedrängt die Menschen fortgesetzt und treibt sie zu Handlungen an, ihrem Wesen entsprechend. Erdgebunden ist es aber nur dann, wenn es noch irdisch materiell gesinnt ist, wenn es sich nicht lösen kann von den Dingen, die es im Erdenleben erstrebte, wenn die Erde es gewissermaßen nicht losläßt und immer wieder mit ihren Gütern dem Wesen vor Augen tritt. Diese Wesen suchen sich nun in Menschen gleicher Gesinnung eine Ausführungsmöglichkeit ihres Willens. Sie bedrängen ihn und üben großen Einfluß auf ihn aus, so sich der Mensch nicht wehrt oder sich geistige Wesen zur Hilfe erbittet, die ihn vor jenem Einfluß schützen. Zumeist aber sind es Menschen, die selbst die gleichen Triebe haben, und dann sind sie den geistigen Bedrängern willige Objekte, die nun so wollen und handeln wie jene. Vor solchen geistigen Verführern warnet Gott die Menschen, und Er gibt ihnen den Rat, immer zu Ihm ihre Zuflucht zu nehmen und um Schutz und Hilfe zu bitten. Ein bittender Gedanke schon genügt, daß ihm Lichtwesen zur Seite stehen, daß er bald den bösen Einfluß erkennt und sich ihm entzieht. Es muß die Seele des Menschen versuchen, jene Sphären zu überfliegen, um mit Lichtwesen in Berührung zu kommen, dann kann sie jenen Mächten widerstehen, denn dann findet sie Unterstützung und verfügt auch über erhöhte Kraft, sie kann sogar den erdgebundenen Seelen helfen, sich gleichfalls in andere Sphären zu erheben, und es werden die Seelen nachlassen in ihren Bedrängungen, so für sie gebetet wird. So der Wille des Menschen erkennbar ist, wird ein erdgebundenes Wesen durch die Wohltat des Gebetes sich in der Nähe des Menschen aufhalten und durch dessen Streben zum Licht und zur Höhe die eigene falsche Vorstellung ersehen und sich zu wandeln suchen. Darum kann solchen erdgebundenen Seelen auch geholfen werden durch stille Fürbitte und gedankliche Belehrungen, die nicht ungehört verhallen im jenseitigen Reich, sowie ein Mensch der Seelen gedenket, die in Dunkelheit schmachten, und er ihnen helfen will....

Oppression by earth-bound spiritual....

The still earth-bound spiritual in the beyond continues to press people and impels them to actions according to their nature. But it is only earthbound when it is still earthly materially minded, when it cannot detach itself from the things it strove for in earthly life, when the earth, so to speak, does not let go of it and again and again confronts the being with its goods. These beings now look for a possibility to carry out their will in people of the same mind. They press him and exert great influence on him if the human being does not defend himself or asks spiritual beings for help to protect him from this influence. But mostly they are people who have the same urges themselves, and then they are willing objects for the spiritual oppressors who now want and act like them. God warns people of such spiritual seducers and advises them to always take refuge in Him and ask for protection and help. A pleading thought is already enough that beings of light stand by him, that he soon recognizes the evil influence and withdraws from it. The human being's soul must try to fly over these spheres in order to come into contact with beings of light, then it will be able to resist these powers, for then it will find support and also have increased strength at its disposal, it can even help earthbound souls to likewise ascend into other spheres, and the souls' distress will subside if they are prayed for. If the human being's will is recognizable, an earthbound being will stay close to the human being through the benefit of prayer and, through the latter's striving towards light and ascent, recognize its own wrong idea and seek to change. This is why such earthbound souls can also be helped through silent intercession and mental instructions which will not go unheard in the kingdom of the beyond, as soon as a person remembers the souls languishing in darkness and wants to help them....
