Anerkennen des Erlösungswerkes nötig zur Seelenreife....

Zur Erlangung der Seelenreife gehört unwiderruflich das offene Bekenntnis Christi und Seines Erlösungswerkes. Es kann der Mensch nicht reifen ohne Liebe.... wer aber die Liebe hat, der erkennt auch Den, Der Sich aus Liebe für die Menschheit geopfert hat. Er weiß auch, daß Christus den Tod am Kreuze auf Sich nahm als Sühne für die große Schuld der Menschheit, daß Er also diese erlösen wollte von endlos langer Zeit der Gefangenschaft. Und folglich wird er auch dieses Werk der großen Liebe und Barmherzigkeit anerkennen und sich selbst unter das Kreuz Christi stellen, um auch der Gnaden des Erlösungswerkes teilhaftig zu werden. Die Gnaden des Erlösungswerkes aber bewirken erst das Ausreifen der Seele, denn der Erlöser Selbst ziehet nun die Seele zu Sich, zur Höhe, Er vermittelt ihr Kraft, das Rechte zu wollen und zu tun. Wer Jesus Christus und Sein Erlösungswerk nicht anerkennt, der bleibt in der Gewalt des Satans, er bleibt schwachen oder Gott-abgewandten Willens, die Seele bleibt auf niedriger Entwicklungsstufe stehen, denn ihr fehlet die Liebe.... Die Liebe aber erkennet Jesus Christus, denn wo die Liebe ist, ist auch die Weisheit, die Erkenntniskraft für die reine Wahrheit, und so wird dem Liebenden das Erlösungswerk Christi voll und ganz verständlich sein, während der lieblose Mensch in vollster Unkenntnis ist über Sünde und Schuld der Menschheit, über Sinn und Zweck des Erdenlebens, über das Ziel und die Aufgabe des Menschen auf Erden. So er um dieses alles weiß, ist sein Lebenswandel schon ein Leben in Liebe, und dann wird ihm der göttliche Erlöser nur das Sinnbild tiefster Liebe sein, Den er anerkennen muß und Den er auch bekennet vor der Welt, so dies von ihm gefordert wird. Und dann strebt seine Seele zur Höhe, und sie erreichet auch sicher ihr Ziel, weil sie nicht aus eigener Kraft strebet, sondern mit Jesus Christus, weil ihr Wille von Ihm gestärkt wird und die Seele unausgesetzt Kraft und Gnade zugeführt erhält, denn Seine Verheißung lautet: "Wer an Mich glaubt, der hat das ewige Leben...." Der Glaube an Jesus Christus und Sein Erlösungswerk ist unbedingt erforderlich, um selbst in das Reich eingehen zu können, das ewiges Leben bedeutet für die Seele, das licht- und kraft-erfüllt ist und Glückseligkeit bedeutet, das Jesus denen verheißen hat, die an Ihn glauben, weil diese sich bemühen werden, Ihm nachzufolgen und ein Leben in Liebe zu führen, wie Jesus es ihnen auf Erden vorgelebt hat, denn nur die Liebe trägt ihnen höchste Seligkeit ein in der Ewigkeit....

Acknowledgement of the work of redemption necessary for maturity of soul....

The open confession of Christ and His work of redemption irrevocably belongs to the attainment of maturity of soul. The human being cannot mature without love.... but the one who has love also recognizes Him who sacrificed Himself for humanity out of love. He also knows that Christ took death upon Himself on the cross as atonement for humanity's great guilt, that He therefore wanted to redeem it from an infinitely long time of captivity. And consequently He will also acknowledge this work of great love and mercy and place Himself under Christ's cross in order to also partake of the graces of the act of salvation. But the graces of the act of salvation only bring about the maturing of the soul, for the redeemer Himself now draws the soul to Himself, upwards, He imparts strength to it to want and do what is right. Anyone who does not acknowledge Jesus Christ and His act of salvation remains under satan’s control, his will remains weak or turned away from God, the soul remains on a low level of development, for it lacks love.... But love recognizes Jesus Christ, for where love is there is also wisdom, the power of realization for pure truth, and thus Christ's act of salvation will be fully understandable to the loving person, whereas the unloving person is completely ignorant of humanity's sin and guilt, of the meaning and purpose of earthly life, of the human being's aim and task on earth. If he knows all this his way of life is already a life of love, and then the divine redeemer will only be the symbol of profoundest love for him, Whom he has to acknowledge and Whom he also confesses before the world if this is demanded of him. And then his soul will strive upwards and it will certainly reach its aim, because it will not strive of its own strength but with Jesus Christ, because its will will be strengthened by Him and the soul will constantly receive strength and grace, for His promise is: 'He who believes in Me has eternal life...." Faith in Jesus Christ and His act of salvation is absolutely necessary in order to be able to enter the kingdom itself, which signifies eternal life for the soul, which is filled with light and strength and signifies bliss, which Jesus promised to those who believe in Him, because these will endeavour to follow Him and live a life of love as Jesus exemplified to them on earth, for only love will earn them supreme beatitude in eternity....
