Welt des Seins.... Welt des Scheins....

Aus der Welt des Scheins tritt die Seele in die Welt des Seins, in die geistige Welt, die das eigentliche Reich der Seele ist. Doch nicht immer vermag sie diese geistige Welt zu erkennen, denn sowie sie unvollkommen von der Erde scheidet, nimmt sie die Welt des Scheines noch hinüber, nur nicht mehr materiell, sondern als gedankliche Phantome, also noch mehr Scheinwelt, die vor ihren Augen in nichts vergeht, so sie die Güter in Besitz nehmen will. Für die vollkommene Seele aber beginnt nun erst das wahre Leben, sie erkennt sich selbst in ihrer Beschaffenheit, weiß um ihre geistige Aufgabe und ist durch das Wissen erst zu einem Wesen geworden, das sich seiner Kraft bewußt ist und darum auch glückselig ist. Sie weiß nun auch, daß jegliche Entwicklungsphase zuvor nötig war, um das Ziel, das wahre Leben der Seele, zu erreichen, sie weiß, daß zuvor es nur ein Scheinleben war, ein Übergang aus den Sphären der Dunkelheit in die Sphären des Lichtes; sie weiß, daß die Dunkelheit kein ewiger Zustand ist, während das Licht ist und bleibt bis in alle Ewigkeit. Denn was einmal im Licht steht, wird niemals mehr in die Dunkelheit zurückfallen, es wird ewig leben und jeden Zustand zuvor als leblosen Zustand erkennen.... es hat diesen Zustand überwunden und ist in die Welt des Seins zurückgekehrt, von der es einstmals ausgegangen war.... Das Scheinleben will sich in den Vordergrund stellen, und zumeist räumt die Seele ihm Macht ein über sich, d.h., sie ist willig, alles das zu tun, was dem Körper die Annehmlichkeiten des Scheinlebens verschafft, und sie tut für sich selbst nichts, denn die Arbeit für sich wäre die Bemühung um das wahre Leben, die sie aber völlig außer acht lässet. Und darum wird durch Gottes Willen das Scheinleben immer wieder in aller Schwere an die Seele herantreten; Gott Selbst will ihr zeigen, was die irdische Welt in Wirklichkeit ist, indem Er den Körper oft in Not geraten läßt, indem Er ihm nimmt, was er als wertvoll begehrt, indem Er zusammenfallen läßt, was sich der Mensch aufgebaut hat, um ihm die Unbeständigkeit dessen zu zeigen, was er zum Ziel seines eifrigen Strebens und seiner Erdenarbeit macht. Er will ihn zur Erkenntnis führen, daß die irdische Welt nur eine Scheinwelt ist, die keinerlei bleibenden Wert hat für ihn, um ihm die Notwendigkeit der Arbeit an seiner Seele vor Augen zu führen, die ein beständiges Leben sichert, ein Leben in der geistigen Welt, die nicht nur scheint, sondern ist, was sie vorstellt.... die Welt des Lichtes, wo alles kraftdurchströmt ist und glückselig, wo es kein Vergehen mehr gibt, keinen Rückgang, keine Not und keine Unkenntnis, wo alles lebt und tätig ist im Willen Gottes, Dessen Liebe das Vollkommene ungemessen bedenkt und beglückt, das als Bewohner der geistigen Welt in inniger Verbindung steht mit Gott und in der Erfüllung Seines Willens durch immerwährende Tätigkeit seine höchste Beglückung findet in der Welt des Seins.... in der Welt, die nimmermehr vergeht, sondern bleibt, was sie ist, bis in alle Ewigkeit....

World of being.... world of appearance....

From the world of appearance the soul enters the world of being, the spiritual world, which is the real realm of the soul. But it is not always able to recognize this spiritual world, for as soon as it imperfectly departs from earth, it still takes the world of appearance over, only no longer materially, but as mental phantoms, thus even more illusory world, which fades into nothing before its eyes, if it wants to take possession of the goods. But for the perfect soul true life only begins now, it recognizes itself in its nature, knows about its spiritual task and through knowledge has only become a being which is aware of its strength and therefore is also blissful. It now also knows that every phase of development was previously necessary in order to reach the aim, the soul's true life, it knows that previously it was only an illusory life, a transition from the spheres of darkness into the spheres of light; it knows that darkness is not an eternal state, whereas light is and remains for all eternity. For what once stands in the light will never again fall back into darkness, it will live eternally and recognize every state before as a lifeless state.... it has overcome this state and has returned to the world of being from which it once emanated.... The illusory life wants to place itself in the foreground, and for the most part the soul grants it power over itself, i.e., it is willing to do everything that provides the body with the comforts of the illusory life, and it does nothing for itself, because the work for itself would be the effort for true life, but which it completely disregards. And that is why, through God's will, the illusory life will again and again approach the soul in all heaviness; God Himself wants to show it what the earthly world really is by often causing the body to suffer hardship, by depriving it of what it desires as valuable, by letting what the human being has built up collapse in order to show him the impermanence of what he makes the aim of his eager striving and earthly work. He wants to lead him to the realization that the earthly world is only an illusory world which has no lasting value for him, in order to make him aware of the necessity of working on his soul which ensures a constant life, a life in the spiritual world which not only appears but is what it represents.... the world of light, where everything is power-flooded and blissful, where there is no more decay, no more decline, no hardship and no ignorance, where everything lives and is active in the will of God, Whose love unmeasuredly considers and makes happy the perfect, which, as inhabitants of the spiritual world, is in intimate connection with God and, in the fulfilment of His will through everlasting activity, finds its highest happiness in the world of being.... in the world that never passes away but remains what it is for all eternity....
