Willen zum Guten - Einfluß der Lichtwesen.... Maske des Widersachers....

Der Wille, das Gute zu tun und Gott anzugehören, ist allein ausschlaggebend, daß gute Kräfte sich dem Menschen nahen und ihn zu beeinflussen suchen. Niemals wird ein Gott-abgewandter Wille diese Kräfte an sich ziehen, und niemals werden schlechte Kräfte Macht gewinnen über einen Gott-zustrebenden Menschen. Es ist das so verständlich, daß Gott letztere nicht der Gewalt des Bösen verfallen läßt, daß Er Selbst schützend Seine Hände ausbreitet über sie, die nach Ihm verlangen. Es sind die Wesen des Lichtes kraftvoll genug, alles Schlechte abzuwehren von einem Menschen, der durch sein Denken und Wollen bekundet, daß er dem Bösen abhold ist. Wohl ist die Macht des Widersachers groß, doch nur dann gewinnt er die Herrschaft über den Menschen, so dieser sich selbst in seine Hände begibt durch Gott wider- strebendes Denken und Handeln, und dann verkleidet er sich als Lichtgestalt, um die Menschen zu betören, die durch ihren Willen noch finsteren Geistes sind und den Widersacher unter der Maske des Guten nicht erkennen. Doch der Gott-Zustrebende ist nicht geblendet durch das Truglicht. Er durchschaut das Wirken dessen, der aus der Finsternis ist.... denn die Lichtwesen klären ihn darüber auf, sie erhellen seinen Geist und lassen ihn Einblick nehmen in die Schwächen und Gebrechen der Menschen, die diesem Truggeist verfallen. Es soll der Gott zustrebende Mensch wohl ständig wachen und beten, damit er nicht in (der) Versuchung falle, und es werden auch Versuchungen zugelassen, um seine Willenskraft zu erproben, um seine Widerstandskraft zu bestärken, doch nimmermehr läßt Gott den Versucher selbst sich dem Menschen in einer Gestalt nahen, daß dieser ihn nicht mehr erkennen kann, so sein Denken und Wollen ein rechtliches ist. Und ebenso bilden die Lichtwesen einen Schutzwall um den ihnen anvertrauten Erdenmenschen, der sich ihrer Führung überläßt durch bewußtes Streben zu Gott. Die Macht des Bösen ist also über ihn nur gering und nur dann eine Gefahr, wenn der Mensch selbst nachläßt in seinem Streben und sein Verlangen der Welt und deren Gütern und Freuden zuwendet. Doch dann setzet ein Ringen ein der guten und der bösen Kräfte um die Seele dessen, und die Kraft der Lichtwesen ist wahrlich größer und schützet den Menschen vor gänzlichem Abfall. Doch immer ist der Wille des Menschen selbst entscheidend, und darum braucht der Gegner Gottes nicht gefürchtet zu werden, wo dieser Wille Gott und der Vereinigung mit Ihm gilt. Das Wirken der Kräfte des Lichtes und der Finsternis ist wohl zu unterscheiden und also auch zu erkennen an seinen Ergebnissen, denn schlechte Kräfte werden nicht zum guten, und die Lichtwesen nicht zu schlechtem Handeln die Menschen bestimmen, und darum werdet ihr an den Früchten erkennen, unter welchem Einfluß ein Mensch steht, und sonach auch ein Wirken des Lichtes anerkennen müssen, wo jeder Gedanke des Menschen nur dem einen Ziel gilt, Gott zu dienen und nach Seinem Wohlgefallen zu leben. Denn dieses Streben allein schon läßt erkennen, wo Gott Selbst am Werk ist, denn durch das Verlangen nach Gott zieht der Mensch selbst die göttliche Kraft an sich heran, und Gott läßt den Glauben dessen nicht zuschanden werden, der Ihm voll und ganz vertraut und dies beweiset durch inniges Gebet, durch werktätige Nächstenliebe und einen Ihm ergebenen Willen....

Will to do good - influence of the beings of light.... mask of the adversary....

The will to do good and to belong to God is the only decisive factor for good forces to approach a person and try to influence him. A will turned away from God will never draw these forces to itself, and evil forces will never gain power over a person striving towards God. It is so understandable that God does not allow the latter to fall prey to the power of evil that He Himself spreads His hands protectively over them who long for Him. The beings of light are powerful enough to ward off all evil from a person who demonstrates through his thoughts and will that he is averse to evil. The adversary's power is indeed great but he only gains control over the human being if the latter places himself into his hands by thinking and acting in opposition to God, and then he disguises himself as a figure of light in order to beguile people whose will is still of a dark spirit and who do not recognize the adversary under the mask of good. But the one who strives for God is not blinded by the deceptive light. He sees through the activity of the one who comes from darkness.... for the beings of light enlighten him about it, they illuminate his spirit and allow him to gain insight into the weaknesses and infirmities of people who fall prey to this deceptive spirit. The person striving towards God should indeed constantly watch and pray so that he does not fall into temptation, and temptations are also permitted in order to test his willpower, to strengthen his power of resistance, but God will never allow the tempter himself to approach the person in such a form that he can no longer recognize him if his thoughts and will are right. And in the same way the beings of light form a protective wall around the earthly human being entrusted to them, who abandons himself to their guidance by consciously striving towards God. The power of evil over him is therefore only slight and only then a danger when the human being himself lets up in his striving and turns his desire towards the world and its goods and pleasures. But then a struggle of good and evil forces starts for his soul, and the power of the beings of light is truly greater and protects the human being from complete apostasy. But the will of man himself is always decisive, and that is why the opponent of God does not need to be feared where this will is meant for God and the union with him. The activity of the forces of light and darkness can certainly be distinguished and thus also recognized by its results, for evil forces will not determine people's good actions and the beings of light will not determine people's evil actions, and therefore you will recognize by the fruits under which influence a person is and thus also have to acknowledge an activity of light where every thought of the human being only applies to the one goal of serving God and living according to His pleasure. For this striving alone already reveals where God Himself is at work, for through the desire for God the human being draws the divine strength to himself, and God will not let the faith of the one who fully trusts Him and proves this through heartfelt prayer, through active neighbourly love and a will devoted to Him come to nothing....
