Eignung zum Prüfen von Geistesgaben....

Das Ergebnis einer unzulänglichen Forschung wird immer negativ sein, sowie es sich um das Prüfen geistiger Produkte handelt, weil dann schon der Wille vorherrscht abzulehnen und dieser Wille vom Gegner der Wahrheit beeinflußt wird. Es ist zum Erkennen der Wahrheit unbedingt der Wille nötig, sich dafür einzusetzen, sowie der Mensch erkannt hat. Doch gerade dieser Wille mangelt ihm, und dann wird auch sein Verstandesdenken getrübt sein, und er ist zum Prüfen untauglich, oder aber sein Urteil ist nicht mehr zuverlässig. Jeder ernstlich Prüfende muß unvoreingenommen sich dieser Aufgabe unterziehen, er muß ernstlich nach der Wahrheit suchen und die erkannte Wahrheit vorurteilslos annehmen wollen. Dann lehnet er nur ab, was er nicht innerlich bejahen kann, und dann wird er unterstützt von Wesen, die ihm zur Wahrheit verhelfen wollen und die sein Denken nun recht leiten. Und darum sind zur Prüfung geistiger Ergebnisse nur die Menschen geeignet, die nicht schon Anhänger einer Geistesrichtung sind, ansonsten ihr Denken schon nicht mehr unbeeinflußt ist, denn es setzen sich nun den zu prüfenden Lehren die Lehren jener Geistesrichtung entgegen, und es gehört dann ein überaus fester Wille dazu, sich völlig frei von jenen zu machen. Und darum werden auch zumeist die überzeugtesten Anhänger gewonnen werden unter den Menschen, deren Denken nicht gebunden ist durch Lehren einer anderen Geistesrichtung, denn diese werden alles prüfen ohne inneren Widerstand und nun auch tiefer eindringen in das ihnen gebotene Geistesgut und folglich auch es als Wahrheit erkennen, weil die Wahrheit für sich selbst spricht, sowie sie nicht von Irrtum durchsetzt ist und dann die Erkenntniskraft getrübt ist. Und verständlicherweise werden sich nun die Träger der reinen Wahrheit und die Anhänger anderer Geistesrichtungen gegnerisch gegenüberstehen, weil die letzteren von ihren Ansichten überzeugt sind und daher nicht ernsthaft genug andere Geistesgaben prüfen, andererseits aber immer sich angegriffen fühlen, sowie ihnen Ansichten entgegengesetzt werden, die aus dem geistigen Reich geboten wurden. Es sind immer nur einzelne Menschen, die den Willen und die Fähigkeit haben, geistige Gaben zu prüfen, und darum werden auch nur wenige Menschen die Wahrheit derer erkennen, dennoch muß überall der Versuch gemacht werden, die Menschen zum Prüfen der Gaben von oben zu bewegen, auf daß die Menschen Kenntnis davon nehmen und in ihnen der Wille und das Verlangen nach der Wahrheit rege wird und somit auch die Fähigkeit ausgebildet werden kann, die verschiedenen Ansichten gegeneinander abzuwägen und sich dann für das Rechte zu entscheiden. Es bleibt dann immer noch des Menschen freier Wille, wie er sich zu den Geistesgaben stellt.... Denn er wird in keiner Weise gezwungen, sie anzunehmen oder abzulehnen....

Suitability for scrutinising spiritual gifts....

The result of inadequate research will always be negative when it concerns the scrutiny of spiritual products, since the will for rejection already predominates and this resolve is influenced by the opponent of truth. The will to advocate the truth once a person has realised it is absolutely essential for recognising the truth. Yet, precisely this will is lacking in him and, consequently, his reasoning power will be clouded and he will either be not suitable to examine or his judgment will no longer be reliable. Every serious examiner must undertake this task impartially; he must sincerely look for the truth and be willing to accept the recognised truth without prejudice. Then he will only reject that which he cannot inwardly affirm, and he will be supported by beings which want to help him know the truth and will guide his thinking correctly. For this reason, only people who do not follow a specific school of thought are suitable to examine spiritual results, otherwise their thinking is no longer unbiased, for the teachings intended to be scrutinised will clash with the doctrines of their school of thought and then it will require an exceptionally firm will in order to become completely free from the latter. And so the most convinced followers are often gained amongst people whose thoughts are not committed to teachings of a different school of thought, because they will scrutinise everything without resistance and subsequently also penetrate deeper into the spiritual information offered to them and consequently also recognise it as truth, because the truth speaks for itself as long as it is not interspersed by error which clouds a person's understanding. Then the bearers of the pure truth and the followers of other schools of thought will, understandably, oppose each other, because the latter are convinced of their points of view and therefore don't examine other spiritual gifts seriously enough but, on the other hand, always feel affronted as soon as they are confronted with views which were offered from the spiritual kingdom. There will only ever be individual people with the will and the ability to scrutinise spiritual gifts, and therefore only a few people will recognise the truth in them. Nevertheless, the attempt should be made everywhere to persuade people to examine the gifts from above, so that people will take notice of them and that it will awaken their desire for truth which can also train their ability to weigh up the different points of view against each other and then choose that which is right. Then it will still remain up to a person's free will to form his own opinion of the spiritual gifts.... for he will not be forced by any means to accept or to reject them....
