Auswirkung des Lebenswandels auf das ganze Volk....

Der rechte Glaube und der rechte Gottesdienst führt den Menschen Gott näher, denn es erkennet der Mensch Gott an, und er sucht Dessen Willen zu erfüllen.... er lebt in der Liebe.... und letzteres zieht alle Segnungen nach sich, die ehemalige weite Entfernung von Gott wird verringert, und der Zweck des Erdenlebens ist von dem Menschen erreicht worden.... er hat zu Gott zurückgefunden aus freiem Willen. Und es wird wahrlich nichts Außergewöhnliches verlangt von den Menschen, denn nichts brauchen sie zu tun aus eigener Kraft, sondern die Kraft aus Gott steht ihnen ungemessen zur Verfügung, und nur den Willen müssen sie aufbringen, diese Kraft zu nützen. Doch wie oft versagt der Wille des Menschen, und er gelangt nicht zum Ziel.... Doch auch dann noch ist die erbarmende Liebe Gottes bereit, der Ihm noch fernstehenden Seele den Weg zu weisen, der zu Ihm führt. Auch dann noch nimmt Gott Sich ihrer an, wenn auch in einer Form, die oft nicht als Liebe Gottes erkennbar ist. Doch den offenen Widerstand muß die Seele aufgeben, ansonsten sich die Liebe Gottes zurückzieht und dies einen Rückgang bedeutet, ein Verhärten der geistigen Substanz, was einen überaus qualvollen Zustand zur Folge hat. Leiden muß also das Wesen so lange, wie es sich nicht aus freiem Willen zu Gott bekennt und seine Liebe zu Ihm durch Liebe zum Nächsten beweiset.... Je williger das Wesen ist, den Anschluß an Gott herzustellen, desto weniger Leid benötigt es zu seiner Entwicklung, und sein Dasein auf Erden wird ein friedliches sein. Und ebenso wird ein Geschlecht, das einander dienet in Liebe, also gleichfalls den Anschluß sucht an Gott, in Ruhe und Frieden auf Erden leben und irdisches Leid wenig benötigen, denn es erfüllet seinen eigentlichen Zweck auf Erden, es strebt zur Höhe.... wie umgekehrt unsägliches Leid das Volk bedrücken wird, das ohne Liebe dahinlebt und die Gottferne nicht zu überbrücken versucht durch einen entsprechenden Lebenswandel in Liebe und rechtem Glauben. Denn ein solches Volk muß heimgesucht werden, auf daß es zum Erkennen komme. Nur die Lieblosigkeit und der Unglaube ziehen ein leidvolles Schicksal heran, das den einzelnen mehr oder weniger trifft, denn Gott gibt diese Menschen nicht auf, sondern Er sucht sie zu wandeln dadurch. Sucht der Mensch sich zu entfernen von Ihm durch Lieblosigkeit, so wendet Gott schärfere Mittel an, beläßt jedoch ihm den freien Willen. Die Gottnähe muß er sich also selbst gewinnen, durch einen rechten Erdenlebenswandel, denn sie ist erst die Folge eines Liebelebens, das der Mensch aus freiem Willen führen muß. Doch unentwegt bieten sich ihm Gelegenheiten, Liebe zu üben und er kann ausreifen, so er sich nicht widersetzt, d.h., seinen Willen in verkehrter Weise gebraucht.... zur Lieblosigkeit. Dann verhärtet sich seine Seele immer mehr und entfernt sich von Gott, und sie nützet ihr Erdenleben, d.h. ihre letzte Verkörperung als Mensch, nicht, so daß sie einen erneuten Prozeß durchmachen muß zu ihrer Erlösung, der wieder unendliche Zeiten benötigt. Und darum versucht Gott alle Mittel, diese nochmalige Bannung unnötig zu machen, weil sie unvorstellbar qualvoll ist.... Doch der freie Wille des Menschen gibt den letzten Ausschlag.... Und so ist alles Erdenleid nur ein Mittel, diesen freien Willen zu wandeln, daß er Gott zustrebe und der Mensch durch einen Lebenswandel in Liebe sich erlöse aus dem gebundenen Zustand, solange er noch auf Erden wandelt.

Impact of lifestyle on the whole nation....

The right faith and the right worship brings man closer to God, for man recognizes God and seeks to fulfil His will.... he lives in love.... and the latter entails all blessings, the former far distance from God is reduced and the purpose of earthly life has been achieved by the human being.... he has found his way back to God of his own free will. And truly, nothing extraordinary is demanded of people, for they don't need to do anything of their own strength but the strength from God is at their unmeasured disposal and they only need to muster the will to utilize this strength. Yet how often does the will of man fail and he does not reach his goal.... But even then, God's merciful love is still ready to show the soul that is still far from Him the path that leads to Him. Even then God will still take care of it, albeit in a form that is often not recognizable as God's love. But the soul has to give up the open resistance, otherwise God's love withdraws and this means a decline, a hardening of the spiritual substance, which results in an extremely agonizing state. Thus the being has to suffer as long as it does not profess God of its own free will and proves its love for Him through love for its neighbour.... The more willing the being is to establish the connection to God, the less suffering it needs for its development and its existence on earth will be a peaceful one. And likewise, a generation which serves each other in love, thus likewise seeks union with God, will live in peace and quiet on earth and have little need of earthly suffering, for it fulfils its actual purpose on earth, it strives to ascend.... just as, conversely, unspeakable suffering will oppress a people which lives without love and does not try to bridge the distance to God through a corresponding way of life in love and true faith. For such a people must be afflicted so that it may come to recognize. Only unkindness and unbelief bring about a painful fate which more or less affects the individual, for God does not abandon these people but seeks to change them through it. If a person tries to distance himself from Him through unkindness, God will use harsher means but leave him free will. He therefore has to gain closeness to God himself through a right way of life on earth, for it is only the result of a life of love which the human being has to live of his own free will. Yet he is constantly offered opportunities to practice love and he can mature if he does not resist, i.e. if he uses his will in the wrong way.... to unkindness. Then his soul hardens more and more and distances itself from God, and it does not utilize its earthly life, i.e. its last embodiment as a human being, so that it has to go through a new process for its redemption, which again requires infinite times. And therefore God tries all means to make this renewed banishment unnecessary because it is unimaginably agonizing.... Yet the human being's free will is the final deciding factor.... And thus all suffering on earth is merely a means to change this free will so that it will strive towards God and the human being will redeem himself from the bound state by living a life of love as long as he still lives on earth.
