Gnadenmittel Liebeswirken und Gebet....

Dies ist das wirksamste Gnadenmittel, daß der Mensch sich übet in der Liebe, denn ein Liebeswirken trägt ihm ungemessen Kraft ein, und die Kraft aus Gott ist eine Gnade, die unweigerlich der Vollendung entgegenführt. So sich der Mensch in der Liebe übet, strebt er auch die Verbindung mit Gott an, Der in Sich die Liebe ist, und alles, was zu Gott verlangt, wird von Ihm erfaßt und mit Seiner Gnade bedacht. Es muß der Mensch etwas geben, will er empfangen.... er muß Liebe geben, will er von Gott wieder Liebe empfangen. Und die Gnade Gottes ist ein Beweis Seiner Liebe, die allen Menschen zur Verfügung steht, so sie nur empfangen wollen. Und ihren Willen bekunden sie durch Liebeswirken, das dann auch ihnen ein Übermaß von Gnade sichert. Ein weiteres Gnadenmittel ist das Gebet, das wiederum den Willen zu Gott zum Ausdruck bringt.... das seine Hilflosigkeit, seine Schwäche bezeugt, in der sich der Mensch an Gott wendet um Seine Unterstützung, um Kraft oder Gnade.... Wer Gott innig anruft um Seine Hilfe für seinen Erdenlebenswandel, wer Ihm sich selbst anvertraut in seiner ganzen Schwäche, den zieht der Vater im Himmel erbarmend und voller Liebe an Sein Herz, Er versorgt ihn, Er führt ihm Kraft zu, daß er den Willen Gottes erfüllen kann, Er bleibt mit Seiner Gnade ständig bei ihm, und also wird auch dessen Leben ein Liebeswirken sein, weil die Kraft aus Gott zur Liebe anregt, weil die Kraft aus Gott Seine Liebesausstrahlung ist, die wieder zur Liebe antreibt. Die Liebe und das Gebet sind die wirksamsten Gnadenmittel, die dem Menschen den Erdenlebensweg erleichtern und ihm vollsten Erfolg sichern für seine Seele. Denn Gott Selbst ist mit denen, die in der Liebe leben und zum Gebet ihre Zuflucht nehmen, die also in innigster Verbindung stehen mit Ihm und die Er darum niemals ohne Hilfe lassen wird, weil sie Ihm angehören, weil sie nach Ihm Verlangen tragen und also zurückgefunden haben zu Ihm, von Dem sie ausgegangen sind. Es bedenket Gott aber auch die Menschen mit Seiner Gnade, die Ihm noch fernstehen, indem Er sie ständig in Gelegenheiten führt, wo sie sich die Gnade erwerben können, indem Er ihnen ständig Möglichkeiten gibt, zu Ihm ihre Zuflucht zu nehmen oder in Liebe zu wirken.... Doch Er zwingt die Menschen nicht dazu, sondern stellt es ihnen frei, ob sie die ihnen zufließende Gnade nützen sollen oder nicht. Gottes Liebe und Gnade will alle Menschen erfassen, doch der menschliche Wille muß sich bereit erklären, sie zu nützen, ansonsten ihm die Gnade Gottes nicht zufließen kann, wenngleich sie ihm ungemessen zur Verfügung steht. Menschen, die keine Verbindung haben mit Gott durch Liebeswirken oder bewußtes Gebet, verspüren auch die Gnade Gottes nicht so merklich, denn was von Gott kommt, ist nur im Herzen spürbar; es treibt die Kraft aus Gott immer nur das Herz an, liebetätig zu werden, dann erst tritt die Lebenskraft in Aktion, daß der Mensch ausführt, wozu sein Herz ihn antreibt. Und so ist jegliche Gnade das Mittel zur inneren geistigen Vollendung.... Es ist die Gnade ein Hilfsmittel zum Aufstieg der Seelen, und sie wird daher nur von denen empfunden, die zur Höhe verlangen.... Die anderen aber achten ihrer nicht, sie überhören es, wenn die Stimme des Herzens zu ihnen spricht und sie antreiben möchte zum Liebeswirken.... wenn also die Gnade Gottes ihnen zuströmen möchte, verschließen sie sich ihr, und sie nützen sie nicht, folglich kann sie an ihnen nicht wirksam werden. Zur geistigen Vollendung kann aber der Mensch nicht ohne die Gnade Gottes gelangen, und deshalb bleibt sein seelischer Reifegrad so lange ein niedriger, wie er nicht die Gnade Gottes in Anspruch nimmt.... wie er nicht bittet um deren Zuwendung und sich die Gnade Gottes durch eifriges Liebeswirken erwirbt. Denn dies sind die wirksamsten Gnadenmittel, die unweigerlich den Menschen zur Höhe führen, die seine Vollendung gewährleisten....

Means of grace love and prayer....

This is the most effective means of grace, that the human being practices love, for an activity of love provides him with immeasurable strength, and the strength from God is a grace which inevitably leads towards perfection. If the human being practices love he also strives for union with God, Who is love in Himself, and everything that calls for God will be seized by Him and given His grace. Man must give something if he wants to receive.... he must give love if he wants to receive love from God again. And God's grace is proof of His love, which is available to all people if only they want to receive. And they manifest their will through works of love, which then also secures them an abundance of grace. Another means of grace is prayer, which in turn expresses the will towards God.... which testifies to his helplessness, his weakness, in which the human being turns to God for His support, for strength or grace.... Whoever sincerely calls upon God for His help for his earthly way of life, whoever entrusts himself to Him in all his weakness, the father in heaven mercifully and full of love draws him to His heart, He provides for him, He supplies him with strength so that he can fulfil God's will, He constantly remains with him with His grace, and thus his life will also be a labour of love, because the strength from God stimulates love, because the strength from God is His emanation of love, which again impels to love. Love and prayer are the most effective means of grace which make a person's earthly path of life easier and ensure complete success for his soul. For God Himself is with those who live in love and take refuge in prayer, who are therefore in closest contact with Him and whom He will therefore never leave without help because they belong to Him, because they long for Him and have therefore found their way back to Him from Whom they originated. However, God also considers those people with His grace who are still distant from Him by constantly leading them to opportunities where they can acquire grace by constantly giving them the opportunity to take refuge in Him or to work in love.... However, He does not force people to do so, but leaves it up to them whether or not they should make use of the grace that flows to them. God's love and grace wants to encompass all people, yet the human will has to declare itself willing to utilize it, otherwise God's grace cannot flow to it, even though it is available to it unmeasured. People who have no connection with God through loving activity or conscious prayer do not feel God's grace so noticeably either, for what comes from God can only be felt in the heart; the strength from God only ever impels the heart to become lovingly active, only then does the life force come into action so that the human being carries out what his heart impels him to do. And thus all grace is the means to inner spiritual perfection.... Grace is an aid for the ascent of souls and is therefore only felt by those who desire to ascend.... The others, however, do not pay attention to it, they ignore it when the voice of the heart speaks to them and would like to impel them to work with love.... therefore, when God's grace wants to flow towards them, they close themselves off to it and do not utilize it, consequently it cannot become effective in them. But a person cannot reach spiritual perfection without God's grace, and therefore his spiritual degree of maturity remains low as long as he does not make use of God's grace.... as long as he does not ask for God's favour and acquire God's grace through eager loving activity. For these are the most effective means of grace, which inevitably lead man to the heights, which guarantee his perfection....
