Predigeramt.... Rechte Prediger - Aufnahmegefäße....

Die Gabe, das Evangelium zu predigen, setzt Liebe zu den Menschen voraus, sollen göttliche Worte dem Munde des Predigers entströmen, denn dann ist dieser das Organ, durch welches Gott Selbst zu den Menschen spricht, während es sonst Menschenworte sind, die er spricht.... Worte, die eingelernt sind und nur das Wissen wiedergeben, was der Mensch schulmäßig in sich aufgenommen hat. Sowie der Mensch liebetätig ist, wirkt der Geist aus Gott durch diesen Menschen, und dann kann er nur reden, was der Geist aus Gott ihm vermittelt. Deshalb kann ein Prediger, der nicht liebetätig ist, niemals mit Erfolg sich für das Evangelium einsetzen, denn es sind nur leere Worte, die er spricht; ihnen fehlt das Leben, und es kann daher auch nicht zum Leben erwecken. Und das ist der Grund, weshalb an der Mehrzahl der Menschen das göttliche Wort vorübergeht, ohne im Menschen einen Widerhall zu finden. Es sind dies keine rechten Verkünder des göttlichen Wortes, keine Diener Gottes, wie sie sein sollen, um erfolgreich auf Erden wirken zu können. Es sind mit ihrem Amt auch materielle Interessen verbunden, und so der Mensch nicht außergewöhnlich liebetätig ist, wird er nicht Aufschluß geben können so, wie es nötig ist, um zum Erkennen zu kommen. Er wird jedoch immer die äußeren Formen einhalten, wie es ihm menschlicherseits vermittelt wurde, und er wird sich als Diener Gottes fühlen, der dazu bestimmt ist, den Mitmenschen das Evangelium zu predigen.... Die Gabe zu predigen ist eine Folge der innigsten Verbindung mit Gott durch Liebetätigkeit und Gebet.... Es sind dann dem Wirken des Geistes im Menschen keine Schranken gesetzt, und nun ist es nicht der Mensch, welcher redet, sondern die Stimme des göttlichen Geistes, die sich durch Menschenmund kundgibt. "Sorget nicht, was ihr reden sollt, denn Mein Geist wird es euch geben zur selben Stunde...." Und was nun der Mensch redet und denkt, das ist das Evangelium, das er weitergeben soll, denn es ist Gottes Wort, durch Seinen Geist den Menschen vermittelt. Und es kann dieses Lehramt ein jeder ausführen, so er durch Liebeswirken sich das Anrecht erworben hat auf das Wirken des göttlichen Geistes. Doch auch nur diese sollen lehren.... Weltliches Studium ersetzt niemals das Wirken des Geistes, und so nicht die Liebetätigkeit gleichzeitig geübt wird, werden es Buchstabenworte sein und bleiben, die nun den Menschen geboten werden; sie werden nicht zu Herzen dringen und zum Leben erwecken, es sei denn, daß der Zuhörer von tiefer Liebe zu Gott erfaßt, von Seinem Geist erleuchtet ist, so daß das Wort in ihm lebendig wird. Das Predigeramt ist so unendlich wichtig zu nehmen und wird doch einer weltlichen Aufgabe gleichgestellt werden auch von denen, die es ausüben sollen. Es wird, weltlichen Ämtern gleich, in Zeit und Form gezwängt, es wird ausgeübt gewohnheitsgemäß und nicht mehr aus tiefstem innersten Bedürfnis heraus.... Es muß der Mensch gedrängt werden von seinem Geist, zu reden, und er bedarf dazu weder eines bestimmten Ortes noch einer bestimmten Zeit, sondern nur hungernder Menschen, die sich laben möchten am Quell göttlicher Weisheit, die nach dem Brot des Himmels begehren.... Diesen soll das Evangelium gepredigt werden, die göttliche Liebelehre, deren Erfüllen allein den Menschen zur Weisheit gelangen läßt. Je inniger die Verbindung des Predigers mit Gott ist und je williger der Zuhörer nun sein Wort entgegennimmt, desto klarer und verständlicher wird dieses Wort zu den Ohren des Hörers dringen, weil dieser es nun mit dem Herzen begehrt und hört und es nicht am Ohr verklingen läßt. Der Prediger soll das Werkzeug Gottes sein, d.h. sich Gott hingeben, daß Er ungehindert durch ihn wirken kann.... Er soll das Aufnahme-Gefäß sein für den Geist aus Gott, der sich über die Menschen ergießen soll.... Er soll diesen Strom weiterleiten und denen, die nicht selbst die Verbindung mit Gott herstellen, den Weg dazu weisen.... er soll, so er selbst mit Gott und für Gott lebt und tätig ist, auch die Mitmenschen Ihm zuführen und ihnen Kenntnis geben von der Liebe Gottes, die wieder durch Liebeswirken errungen werden soll.... Er soll die Menschen zur Liebe erziehen, weil ohne die Liebe kein Mensch selig werden kann....

Preaching ministry.... right preachers - receptacles....

The gift of preaching the gospel requires love for people if divine words are to flow from the preacher's mouth, for then he is the organ through which God Himself speaks to people, whereas otherwise it is human words that he speaks.... words that are learnt and only reflect the knowledge that man has absorbed in a scholastic way. As soon as a person is active in love, the spirit from God works through that person, and then he can only speak what the spirit from God imparts to him. Therefore, a preacher who is not active in love can never successfully stand up for the gospel, for the words he speaks are only empty; they lack life and therefore cannot awaken to life. And that is the reason why the divine word passes by the majority of people without finding an echo in them. They are not true proclaimers of the divine word, not servants of God, as they should be in order to be able to work successfully on earth. Their ministry is also connected to material interests, and if the human being is not exceptionally active in love he will not be able to provide the kind of information which is necessary in order to attain realization. However, he will always comply with the external forms he has been taught by human beings and he will feel like a servant of God who is destined to preach the gospel to his fellow human beings........ The gift of preaching is a consequence of the most intimate connection with God through loving activity and prayer.... There are then no limits to the work of the spirit in man, and now it is not man who speaks, but the voice of the divine spirit that makes itself known through the mouth of man. "Do not worry about what you are to say, for My spirit will give it to you at the same hour...." And what a person speaks and thinks is the gospel that he should pass on, for it is God's word, imparted to people by His spirit. And anyone can carry out this teaching ministry if he has acquired the right to the working of the divine spirit through labour of love. But only these are to teach.... Worldly study never replaces the work of the spirit, and if the activity of love is not practiced at the same time, the words offered to people will be and remain literal; they will not penetrate the heart and awaken it to life unless the listener is gripped by deep love for God and enlightened by His spirit, so that the word comes alive in him. The office of preacher is to be taken as infinitely important and yet will be equated with a worldly task even by those who are to fulfil it. Like worldly offices, it is forced into time and form, it is exercised habitually and no longer out of the deepest inner need.... Man must be urged by his spirit to speak, and for this he needs neither a specific place nor a specific time, but only hungry people who want to refresh themselves at the source of divine wisdom, who desire the bread of heaven.... The gospel is to be preached to them, the divine doctrine of love, the fulfilment of which alone allows man to attain wisdom. The more intimate the connection of the preacher with God is and the more willingly the listener receives his word, the clearer and more comprehensible this word will reach the ears of the listener, because he now desires and hears it with his heart and does not let it fade away at the ear. The preacher should be God's instrument, i.e. surrender himself to God so that He can work through him unhindered.... He is to be the receiving vessel for the spirit from God, which is to pour out on people.... He is to pass on this flow and show the way to those who do not establish the connection with God themselves.... if he himself lives and works with God and for God, he should also lead his fellow human beings to Him and give them knowledge of God's love, which is to be achieved again through loving actions.... He should educate people to love, because without love no human being can be saved....
