Leben - Tätigkeit.... Tod - Untätigkeit....

Leben oder Tod im Jenseits ist der Erfolg des Erdenlebens, und daher ist die Verantwortung des Menschen ungeheuer groß, da es nicht ein Zustand von kurzer Dauer ist, der nach Belieben beendet werden kann, sondern ewig bzw. unsagbar lange Zeit anhält. Im Erdenleben ist alles begrenzt, sowohl zeitlich als auch räumlich, und daher kann der Mensch die Bedeutung das Wortes "ewig" nicht fassen. Er kann es sich nicht im entferntesten vorstellen, was es heißt, stets und ständig zu leben oder leblos zu sein. Und daher nimmt er oft sein Erdenleben nicht so wichtig, ungeachtet dessen, daß er damit das endlos lange Leben in der Ewigkeit bestimmt. Die Seele, die im Jenseits zu leben berechtigt ist, hat ihre Lebensaufgabe erfüllt und übernimmt nun im Jenseits eine neue Aufgabe, die jedoch nicht mehr wie auf Erden eine Pflicht für sie bedeutet, sondern höchste Glückseligkeit auslöst und also einen wonnevollen Zustand bedeutet. Und so findet die auf Erden untätige Seele das gleiche vor, nur daß sie auf Erden selbst sich den Untätigkeitszustand vorzog, während sie im Jenseits dazu verdammt ist, untätig zu sein, weil Tätigsein Glück bedeutet und die Seele darauf keinen Anspruch hat. Und ehe sie zu beglückender Tätigkeit zugelassen wird, können ewige Zeiten vergehen, denn einer auf Erden untätig gewesenen Seele fällt es unsagbar schwer, sich zu wandeln. Erstmalig ist es um sie so lichtlos, d.h., sie besitzt keinerlei Wissen, weder um die Ursache noch um die Möglichkeit eines Änderns ihres trostlosen Zustandes, und daher verharrt sie in der Untätigkeit, d.h., sie hat keinen Willen, davon befreit zu werden. Ohne ihren Willen aber kann sie nicht tätig werden, also in das Reich gelangen, wo alles lebt. Es wird dem Menschen im Erdenleben so oft vorgestellt, daß er eine Verantwortung hat seiner Seele gegenüber, daß er durch seinen Lebenswandel das Los seiner Seele im Jenseits bestimmt. Doch er achtet dieser Hinweise nicht, weil er nicht glaubt.... Dem Ungläubigen kann in keiner Weise Kenntnis davon gegeben werden, was ihn nach seinem Leibestod erwartet, es kann jedoch kein Mensch sagen, daß er darüber nichts vernommen habe. Denn er weist alles ab, was ihn gemahnt, an sein ferneres Leben zu denken, solange er nicht selbst liebetätig ist.... Jeder liebetätige Mensch wird auch glauben. Wer im Erdenleben auf das Schicksal des Mitmenschen bedacht ist, der wird auch davon überzeugt sein, daß das Leben nicht aufhören kann, und er wird nun, wenn auch unbewußt, auf Erden leben für die Ewigkeit. Denn wer liebetätig ist, dessen Gedanken werden auch geleitet, und er wird auch nicht in einem lichtlosen Zustand sein.... er wird also wissen um seine Aufgabe sowohl auf Erden wie auch nach seinem leiblichen Tode im Jenseits. Wer aber nur sich selbst lebt, wer auf Erden nur den einen Trieb hat, sich Annehmlichkeiten zu schaffen, und an der Not der Mitmenschen vorübergeht, der wird niemals als Wahrheit annehmen, was ihm über das Leben nach dem Tode unterbreitet wird. Und folglich wird in ihm kein Licht entzündet, er wandelt schon auf Erden in der Dunkelheit des Geistes, und es kann dies auch nicht anders sein nach seinem Tode.... Es ist finster um ihn und auch finster in seinem Denken.... Und nur wo Licht ist, ist Leben.... Finsternis aber ist Tod....

Life - activity.... death – inactivity....

Life or death in the beyond is the success of life on earth, and therefore the responsibility of the human being is immense, as it is not a state of short duration that can be ended at will, but lasts eternally or for an unspeakably long time. In earthly life everything is limited, both in time and space, and therefore man cannot grasp the meaning of the word ‚eternal‘. He cannot even remotely imagine what it means to live constantly and permanently or to be lifeless. And therefore he often does not take his earthly life so seriously, regardless of the fact that he thereby determines the endlessly long life in eternity. The soul, which is entitled to live in the beyond, has fulfilled its task in life and now takes on a new task in the beyond which, however, no longer means a duty for it as on earth but triggers supreme bliss and thus signifies a blissful state. And thus the soul which was inactive on earth finds the same, except that on earth it preferred the state of inactivity, whereas in the beyond it is condemned to be inactive because being active signifies happiness and the soul has no claim to it. And eternal times can pass before it is admitted to happy activity, for a soul which has been inactive on earth finds it unspeakably difficult to change. For the first time it is so devoid of light, i.e. it has no knowledge whatsoever, neither about the cause nor about the possibility of a change of its desolate state, and therefore it remains in inactivity, i.e. it has no will to be liberated from it. Without its will, however, it cannot become active, that is, it cannot enter the kingdom where everything lives. It is so often presented to the human being in earthly life that he has a responsibility towards his soul, that he determines the fate of his soul in the beyond through his way of life. Yet he does not heed this advice because he does not believe.... The unbeliever can in no way be given knowledge of what awaits him after the death of his body, but no human being can say that he has heard nothing about it. For he rejects everything that reminds him to think of his future life as long as he himself is not active in love.... Every loving person will also believe. Anyone who is concerned about the fate of his fellow human being in earthly life will also be convinced that life cannot end, and he will now, even if unconsciously, live on earth for eternity. For anyone who is active in love will also be guided in his thoughts and he will not be in a lightless state.... He will therefore know his task both on earth as well as after his physical death in the beyond. But he who only lives for himself, who on earth only has the one urge to create comfort for himself and passes by the misery of his fellow human beings, will never accept as truth what is presented to him about life after death. And consequently no light will be kindled in him, he already walks on earth in the darkness of the spirit and this cannot be any different after his death.... It is dark around him and also dark in his thinking.... And only where there is light is life.... But darkness is death....
