Gewaltige Umwälzung Folge des verkehrten Lebens....

Eine gewaltige Umwälzung eures gewohnten Lebens wird die Folge sein eures verkehrten Lebenswandels, der nicht dem Willen Gottes entspricht. Ihr betrachtet nichts wichtig, was euch Gott zuführen könnte, jedoch alles, was euch von Ihm entfernt. Ihr gedenket nur immer der weltlichen Vorteile und verliert dabei jede Schätzung für den Wert rechten Denkens und tiefen Glaubens an Gott. Das Ziel, das ihr anstrebt, hat nichts mit Gott zu tun, ihr benötigt dazu wahrlich nicht den Glauben an Ihn, und ihr könnt sonach auch nicht im rechten Denken stehen, denn euer Denken führt nicht zum ewigen Leben. Jesus Christus aber sagt: "Wer an Mich glaubt, der hat das ewige Leben...." Für das ewige Leben zu sorgen ist einzigster Lebenszweck.... im rechten Denken zu stehen heißt, dem Zweck zu leben, die Aufgabe zu erfüllen und alles zu tun, was förderlich ist zur Höherentwicklung der Seele. Wer sich jedoch ein anderes Ziel setzt, dessen Lebenswandel ist ein einziger Irrtum, denn sein Denken ist falsch, also nicht von Gott, sondern von dessen Gegner geleitet. Und das erfordert Gegenmaßnahmen von seiten Gottes, auf daß der Mensch sich des falschen Denkens bewußt werde und sich und seinen ferneren Lebenswandel zu ändern versuche. Eine Änderung eines so falschen Denkens bringt aber nur ein Ereignis zuwege, das so ungewöhnlich ist, daß es nicht unbeachtet bleibt. Es muß alle Gemüter erregen, es muß selbst gleichgültige Menschen zum Nachdenken veranlassen. Er muß zum mindesten empfindlich getroffen werden, d.h., seine bisherigen Anschauungen müssen einen argen Stoß dadurch erleiden, er muß nun versuchen, in Konnexion zu treten mit dem, was er bisher als unnachweisbar abgelehnt hat. Er muß Gott suchen, auf daß er Ihn findet und Seiner Gnaden teilhaftig werde. Es ist dieses Ereignis unvorstellbar für euch, denn es nimmt euch alles, was ihr besitzet. Ihr werdet nichts mehr euer eigen nennen dürfen als den Glauben an Gott, so ihr diesen habt.... Dieser aber ist mehr wert als aller irdischer Besitz, denn wer Gott recht innig bittet um Seine Fürsorge, dem wird Er sie angedeihen lassen, und Er wird sichtbar führen die Seinen aus der Not, welche das Ereignis über die Menschen bringt. Das Leben mit seiner Bequemlichkeit ist dahin, nun tritt der ganze Ernst des Lebens an das Erdenkind heran, dem es aber völlig gewachsen sein kann, so es nur Gott um Hilfe bittet und mutig den Kampf gegen die Not und Bitternis des Daseins aufnimmt. Es ist nur das von Wert, was der Ewigkeit gilt, alles andere jedoch kann ausgeschaltet werden, da es nur hinderlich ist für das Wesen, das zu schwach ist, aus eigenem Antrieb den Weg zu gehen, der nach oben führt. Gott aber steht allen bei, die nach Ihm rufen, denn Seine Liebe lässet nicht untergehen, was den Willen nach oben in sich trägt.... Er wird diesen Willen stärken und euch Menschen Kraft geben zum Überwinden....

Tremendous upheaval as a result of the wrong way of life....

A tremendous upheaval of your usual life will be the result of your wrong way of life, which does not correspond to God's will. You do not consider anything important that could lead you to God, but everything that takes you away from Him. You only ever think of worldly advantages, and lose all appreciation for the value of right thinking and deep faith in God. The goal you are striving for has nothing to do with God, you truly do not need faith in Him for it, and therefore you cannot be in right thinking either, because your thinking does not lead to eternal life. But Jesus Christ says: ‘He that believeth on Me hath eternal life....’ To care for eternal life is the only purpose of (earthly) life.... To think correctly means to live for the purpose of fulfilling the task and to do everything that is conducive to the soul's higher development. However, anyone who sets himself a different goal will be living in error, for his thinking is wrong, that is, it is not guided by God but by His adversary. And this requires countermeasures on God's part so that the human being realises his wrong thinking, and tries to change himself and his distant way of life. But a change in such wrong thinking can only be brought about by an event that is so unusual that it cannot go unnoticed. It must stir all minds, it must cause even indifferent people to reflect. At the very least, man has to be affected sensitively, that is, his previous views have to suffer a severe blow as a result, he now has to try to enter into contact with that which he has so far rejected as unprovable. He must seek God so that he may find Him and partake of His grace. This event is inconceivable for you, for it takes everything you possess. You will no longer be allowed to call anything your own except faith in God, if you have it.... But this is worth more than all earthly possessions, for whoever asks God for His care with all fervour shall receive it and He will visibly lead His Own out of the adversity that the event will bring upon people. Life with its conveniences is gone, now the whole seriousness of life approaches the earthly child, which he can, however, fully cope with if he only asks God for help and courageously takes up the fight against the adversity and bitterness of existence. Only that which applies to eternity is of value, but everything else can be eliminated since it only hinders the being which is too weak to take the path leading upwards of its own accord. But God will help all those who call out to Him, for His love will not let anything perish that has the will to ascend.... He shall strengthen this will and give you humans the strength to prevail....
