Einblick ins jenseitige Reich.... Geistiges Schauen und Wiedergeben....

Es liegt am Willen des Menschen, sich Einblick zu verschaffen in das Reich, das ihm sonst verschlossen ist, weil es außerhalb alles Irdischen besteht. Er muß nur sich selbst gleichfalls außerirdisch einstellen.... er muß das, was in ihm überirdisch ist.... den Geistesfunken, den ihm Gott als Teilchen Seiner Selbst ins Herz gelegt hat.... dorthin senden, wo seine eigentliche Heimat ist. Das Geistige in ihm strebet dem Geistigen außerhalb der Erde entgegen, und dieses Geistige leitet es und führt es ein in die ewige Herrlichkeit. Es kann also der Geist im Menschen alles erschauen, und es bleibt ihm nichts verborgen, jedoch ist es nicht immer möglich, das vom Geist Geschaute der Seele des Menschen zugänglich zu machen.... Es muß die Seele gleichsam erst ihre Sinne so ausgebildet haben, daß sie fähig ist, das ihr Gebotene aufzunehmen. Sie muß erst das Geistige begehren, bevor sie des Irdischen achtet. Und es gehört dazu ein starker Wille des Menschen und ein tiefes Verlangen nach geistigen Eindrücken: Ist beides aber vorhanden, dann gibt es für den Menschen keine Grenzen. Er kann seinen Blick schweifen lassen in jenes Land, das unvorstellbar ist in seiner Herrlichkeit. Alle irdischen Begriffe, wie Zwang, Begrenzung und Unvollkommenheit scheiden aus. Was sich den Augen des geistig Schauenden bietet, ist vollste Harmonie, edelste Linienführung, unbeschreiblich in seiner Farbentönung, leicht und beschwingt und nicht an die engen Grenzen des irdischen Lebens gebunden. Es ist alles licht und hell, und nichts Unharmonisches stört das anmutige Bild.... Es ist ein harmonischer Friede und doch nichts Totes.... es atmet alles Leben und Liebe, es ist unvergleichliche Schönheit, und es sind die wechselvollsten Eindrücke, die der Geist aus Gott seiner Seele vermitteln möchte, die aber mit menschlichen Sinnen nicht zu fassen sind. Es ist daher überaus schwer, das Geschaute wiederzugeben, denn es ist die Vorstellungsmöglichkeit des Menschen zu klein, um wahrheitsgemäß sich ein Bild machen zu können; doch was der Geist einmal erschaut hat, bleibt in ihm, und er sucht immer wieder jene Gefilde auf, um neue Eindrücke zu sammeln. Es gelingt ihm wohl zuweilen, der Seele solche zu vermitteln, und dies immer dann, wenn das Verlangen danach so stark im Menschen geworden ist, daß er die Erde völlig vergißt. Dann ist die Trennung aus der Körperfessel leichter und die Aufnahmefähigkeit für geistige Bilder größer. Unvorstellbare Herrlichkeiten sind es, die das menschliche Auge niemals erblicken könnte, weil Glanz und Pracht es blenden möchte, und nur ein sehr hoher Reifegrad läßt ein bewußtes Schauen ertragen. Es muß der Mensch jegliche Bindung mit der Erde verloren haben, dann ist es ihm möglich, schon im Erdendasein einen Blick zu tun in jene Sphären. Doch um den Menschen einen kleinen Einblick zu gewähren in jene Herrlichkeiten, beauftragt Gott Seine Boten, die Vorstellungsgabe in einigen Menschen zu wecken, um das von ihnen geistig Geschaute und der Seele Vermittelte annähernd bildhaft wiedergeben zu können, auf daß das Verlangen nach jenen Herrlichkeiten erweckt und vermehrt werde. Die Schönheit der Formen, die leuchtende Farbenpracht, die Vielseitigkeit der Schöpfungswunder ist jedoch nicht wiederzugeben, denn die kühnsten Phantasien reichen nicht im entferntesten an jene Herrlichkeiten heran. Und so ist es nur beschränkt möglich, den Erdenkindern Kunde zu geben, und nur innigstes Verlangen danach entfernt den Schleier, der über alles gebreitet ist, solange das Wesen noch der Erde angehört.... Doch dem ernstlich Strebenden ist es möglich, auch diesen Schleier zu lüften und bewußt zu schauen in das jenseitige Reich, doch dann ist auch sein Scheiden von dieser Welt nicht mehr weit....

Insight into the realm beyond.... spiritual seeing and reproducing....

It is up to the human being's will to gain insight into the kingdom which is otherwise closed to him because it exists outside of everything earthly. He only has to adjust himself likewise extraterrestrially.... he must send that which is supernatural in him.... the spiritual spark which God has placed in his heart as a particle of Himself.... to where his actual home is. The spiritual within him strives towards the spiritual outside the earth, and this spiritual guides it and leads it into eternal glory. The spirit in the human being can therefore see everything and nothing remains hidden from it, yet it is not always possible to make what the spirit sees accessible to the human being's soul.... The soul must first have developed its senses in such a way that it is able to take in what is offered to it. It must first desire the spiritual before it pays attention to the earthly. And this requires a strong will on the part of the human being and a deep desire for spiritual impressions: But if both are present, then there are no limits for the human being. He can let his gaze wander into that land which is unimaginable in its splendour. All earthly concepts such as constraint, limitation and imperfection are eliminated. What presents itself to the eyes of the spiritual observer is fullest harmony, noblest lines, indescribable in its colouring, light and lively and not bound to the narrow limits of earthly life. Everything is light and bright, and nothing inharmonious disturbs the graceful picture.... It is a harmonious peace and yet nothing dead.... it breathes life and love, it is incomparable beauty, and it is the most varied impressions that the spirit of God wants to convey to his soul, but which cannot be grasped by human senses. It is therefore extremely difficult to reproduce what has been seen, for man's imagination is too small to be able to form a true picture; yet what the spirit has seen once remains in him and he repeatedly seeks out those realms in order to gather new impressions. Sometimes it succeeds in conveying such impressions to the soul, and this always happens when the desire for it has become so strong in the human being that he completely forgets the earth. Then the separation from the physical bondage is easier and the receptivity for spiritual images is greater. These are unimaginable glories which the human eye could never behold, because splendour and magnificence would blind it, and only a very high degree of maturity can endure conscious beholding. Man must have lost all connection with earth, then it is possible for him to have a look into those spheres already in earthly existence. But in order to grant people a small insight into those glories, God instructs His messengers to awaken the gift of imagination in some people in order to be able to reproduce approximately in pictures what they have seen spiritually and conveyed to the soul, so that the desire for those glories is awakened and increased. However, the beauty of the forms, the radiant splendour of the colours, the diversity of the wonders of creation cannot be reproduced, for the boldest fantasies do not even come close to those glories. And so it is only possible to tell the children of earth to a limited extent, and only the deepest desire for it removes the veil that is spread over everything as long as the being still belongs to earth.... Yet it is possible for the sincerely striving person to lift this veil and consciously look into the kingdom beyond, but then his departure from this world is not far away....
