Licht van boven

De hemel laat zijn licht op de aarde neerstralen, maar de aarde blijft donker. Ze verzet zich ertegen het licht aan te nemen, want de bewoners van de aarde hebben hun ogen gericht op het rijk der duisternis, dat soms wel een vuurschijnsel ten beste geeft, wat echter alleen misleiding van de satan is. En ze trachten gretig dit bedrieglijk licht op te vangen en slaan geen acht op het zachte licht dat van boven komt. Slechts een enkeling neemt het aan en voor deze is de betovering van de duisternis doorbroken. Hij is de nacht ontvlucht en gaat een heldere morgen tegemoet.

Waarom weifelt u mensen het licht van boven aan te nemen? Waarom jaagt u een bedrieglijk licht na en laat u zich niet onderrichten over de waardeloosheid ervan? Waarom wilt u niet van boven in ontvangst nemen wat de diepte u nooit kan bieden? Waarom brengt u niet de wil op u los te maken van de macht die u vasthoudt in de duisternis van geest? Omdat u niet meer in staat bent te geloven in de Schenker van het licht, in een almachtige, wijze en liefdevolle Schepper van eeuwigheid die ook u heeft geschapen, en waarlijk voor een ander doel dan dat wat u nastreeft.

Bezin u toch hoe leeg uw bestaan is wanneer u zich voorstelt dat de dag van morgen al uw lichamelijk einde kan brengen. Wat baat u dan dat wat u zo ijverig tracht te bereiken? Wat baten u aardse goederen als uw lichaam heeft opgehouden te bestaan? Uw ziel gaat dan een vreselijk lot tegemoet, want ze is zonder enig geestelijk bezit en daarom zonder kracht. Ze is dood, echter niet uitgewist.

Laat u onderrichten als de lichtdragers uw weg kruisen. Luister naar ze en denk na over hun woorden. En als u serieus bent, zult u inzien dat hun woorden niet leeg zijn, dat ze leven in zich dragen. Dat ze wel geloofwaardig zijn zodra een Schepper van eeuwigheid erkend wordt. En probeer het geloof in een Schepper te verkrijgen door na te denken en doordat u vragen in de oneindigheid stuurt. En het licht uit de hemelen zal ook u treffen en u zult zijn weldaad voelen. Er zal een mild en zacht schijnsel in uw hart vallen. Uw geest zal verlicht worden en het verlangen naar steeds helderder licht in u zal toenemen en vervuld worden.

Laat het licht van boven op u inwerken. Ontvlucht het niet, want alleen dit licht brengt u het leven. Het is geen bedrieglijk licht. Integendeel, het brengt geestelijke goederen aan u over, waarvan het nastreven voor u gelukzaligheid betekent en gelukzaligheid oplevert. Ontvlucht de duisternis door uw wil, en u zult leven.

The light from above....

Heaven lets its light shine down to earth, but earth remains dark, it is reluctant to accept the light, for the inhabitants of earth have their eyes fixed on the kingdom of darkness, which indeed occasionally emits a glow of fire but which is merely Satan's deception. And they greedily seek to catch this deceptive light and pay no attention to the gentle light that comes from above. Only a few accept it, and for these the spell of darkness is broken, they have escaped the night and are heading towards a bright morning.... Why do you humans hesitate to accept the light from the heavens? Why do you chase after a deceptive light and do not allow yourselves to be taught about its worthlessness? Why do you not want to receive from above what the depths can never offer you? Why do you not muster the will to free yourselves from the power that keeps you in darkness of the spirit?.... Because you are no longer able to believe in the Giver of light, in an almighty, wise and loving Creator from eternity, Who also created you for a truly different purpose than the one you are striving for. Consider how meaningless your existence is if you imagine that tomorrow can already bring your physical end.... What use is that which you so eagerly endeavour to attain, what use are earthly possessions to you if your body has ceased to exist.... Your soul then faces a dreadful fate, for it is without any spiritual possessions and therefore without strength, it is dead but not extinguished.... Let yourselves be instructed when the bearers of light approach you, listen to them and reflect on their words and, if you are serious, you will realise that their words are not empty, that they carry life within themselves, that they are well worth believing as soon as a Creator is acknowledged from eternity.... and try to gain faith in a Creator through reflection and questions which you send into eternity.... And the light from the heavens will also touch you and you will feel its benefit, a mild and gentle glow will fall into your heart, your spirit will be enlightened and the desire for ever brighter light will be awakened in you and find fulfilment. Let the light from above have an effect on you, do not flee from it, for this light alone brings you life, it is not a deceptive light but imparts spiritual gifts to you, the pursuit of which signifies bliss for you and brings you happiness.... Escape the darkness through your will and you shall live....
