De wetten van tijd en ruimte in de eeuwigheid

Het lichaam vergaat en met hem ook het aardse leed. Maar de ziel blijft bestaan en leidt haar leven in het hiernamaals overeenkomstig het aardse leven verder. Het lijden op aarde moet daarom niet te veel naar waarde geschat worden, omdat hier een einde aan komt. Daarentegen kan het lijden in het hiernamaals eeuwigheden duren, voordat de ziel tot het inzicht komt. Maar ze kan zich ook volledig tijdloos in de sferen van het licht bewegen, want de ziel kent het begrip “tijd” alleen maar in het stadium van onvolmaaktheid. In de toestand van volmaaktheid bevindt ze zich buiten tijd en ruimte.

Zodoende is het tijdsbegrip de graadmeter voor de rijpheid van de ziel. Zolang ze nog voelt dat ze van tijd en ruimte afhankelijk is, heeft ze haar doel nog niet bereikt. Ze is de lichtsferen, waarin elk begrip voor tijd en ruimte verdwijnt, nog niet binnengegaan. Voor de wereld is dit onbegrijpelijk, omdat ze nog geheel aan de wetten van tijd en ruimte onderworpen is. Maar in de eeuwigheid vallen deze laatste weg en het is een onvoorstelbaar zalige toestand om overal te kunnen verblijven en te weten van alles wat was, wat is en wat nog zal zijn. Deze vrijheid van geest is zijn zalige toestand, want de ziel kan zich bewegen, waar en wanneer ze wil, zonder ooit door tijd of ruimte beperkt te worden.

Daarentegen is de onrijpe ziel nog gebonden aan tijd en ruimte, al naar gelang de graad van haar onvolmaaktheid. Ze wordt weliswaar lichamelijk niet meer gehinderd en kan verblijven waar ze wil, maar ze wordt door haar aardse verlangen nog aan een bepaalde omgeving gebonden. Zodoende ketent ze zichzelf hierdoor, omdat ze de vrije toestand niet kent en haar daarom te weinig nastreeft.

Tijd en ruimte betekenen altijd een bepaalde begrenzing en daarom kunnen deze niet met de volmaaktheid overeenkomen. Maar zodra de ziel zich hiervan vrijgemaakt heeft, beseft ze de zaligheid hiervan en verlangt ze nooit meer naar de vorige toestand terug. Want tijd en ruimte overwonnen te hebben betekent ook ongehinderd werkzaam te kunnen zijn, waar en hoe de ziel dat verlangt.

Ze is niet meer gebonden aan tijd en ruimte. Ze heeft zich van de wetten vrijgemaakt, die God het onvolmaakt wezenlijke gaf. Bijgevolg is ze de Wetgever van eeuwigheid af nabijgekomen. Ze heeft zich met Diegene verbonden, Die Heer over tijd en ruimte is en bijgevolg verheft ze zich boven het gehele universum. Dat wil zeggen dat ze kan verblijven waar ze wil en dit altijd, omdat voor haar de wet van tijd en ruimte opgeheven is, zodra ze dicht bij God gekomen is. Want de toestand dat een wezen ongebonden is, dat het aan geen andere wet meer onderworpen is dan aan de wet van de liefde, die haar echter niet meer bedrukt, maar die ze alleen maar als gelukkig makend ervaart, is de toestand van vrijheid en volmaaktheid.

Time and space law in eternity....

The body passes away and with it the earthly suffering. However, the soul remains and continues its life in the afterlife in accordance with its life on earth. The suffering on earth is therefore not to be valued so highly because it comes to an end, whereas the suffering in the beyond can last for eternities before the soul comes to realization. But it can also move completely timelessly in the spheres of light, for the soul only has the concept of time in the stage of imperfection. In the state of perfection it is outside of time and space. The concept of time is therefore the indicator of the soul's maturity, as long as it still has the feeling of being dependent on time and space, it has not yet reached its goal, it has not yet entered the spheres of light, in which every concept of time and space disappears. This is incomprehensible for the world because it is still completely subject to the laws of time and space; in eternity, however, the latter is eliminated and it is an unimaginably blissful state to be able to dwell everywhere and to know everything that was, is and will be. This freedom of the spirit constitutes its state of bliss, for the soul can move wherever and whenever it wants without ever being limited in time or space. The immature soul, on the other hand, is still bound to time and space, depending on the degree of its imperfection. It is certainly no longer physically hindered and can stay wherever it wants, but it is still bound to a certain environment by its earthly desire, thus it puts this shackle on itself because it does not know the free state and therefore strives for it too little. Time and space always imply a certain limitation and therefore cannot correspond to perfection. But as soon as the soul has freed itself from them, it recognizes the bliss of this and never again longs for the previous state. For having overcome time and space also means being able to work unhindered wherever and however the soul desires. It is no longer bound to time and space, it has freed itself from the laws which God gave to the imperfect beingness; it has therefore come close to the lawgiver from eternity, it has united itself with the one Who is lord over time and space, and consequently it likewise rules the whole universe, i.e. it can dwell wherever it wants and this at any time because the law of time and space has been abolished for it as soon as it has come close to God. For this is the state of freedom and perfection, that the being is completely unbound, that it no longer feels subject to any other law than the law of love, which, however, no longer oppresses it but only makes it feel infinitely happy....
