Inzien - Willen - Genade (aanvulling op BD nr. 1937)

De gang door het aardse bestaan is de enige mogelijkheid het wezen zo ver te vormen, dat het in het stadium als mens God kan onderkennen en dus in staat is zich iets wezenlijks voor te stellen en zich met dit wezenlijke in verbinding te stellen. Dit vermogen moet het wezen nu ook gebruiken om de verbinding met God tot stand te brengen. Kunnen inzien en willen aanvaarden, dat is het doel van het verblijf van het wezenlijke op de aarde. Het eerste is een geschenk van Gods genade. Maar het wezen als mens moet zelf de Godheid willen aanvaarden. Daarvan kan God hem nooit ontslaan, daar anders het doel van het aardse bestaan zou zijn nagelaten, dat immers in het actief worden van de wil bestaat.

Maar het inzien van de oorsprong en de bestemming laat ook de wil actief worden. Bijgevolg is de genade Gods wel indirect de mens behulpzaam, ook om het willen willen. Maar de minste weerstand hiertegen maakt dat de goddelijke genade zonder uitwerking is, en weerstand is verkeerde wil. De wil zal zich in de belichaming als mens steeds uiten, alleen vaak andersom, dat wil zeggen: in aan God tegenovergestelde zin, ofschoon alles wat de mens omgeeft, getuigenis aflegt van de goddelijke Schepper en dit dus voldoende zou moeten zijn ook de wil op de juiste manier actief te laten worden. Zou de genade Gods deze wil ook richten in goddelijke ordening, dan zou de wereld verlost zijn, want er zou dan waarlijk geen wezen meer bestaan aan wie de goddelijke liefde deze genade niet zou willen doen toekomen. Dus zouden alle mensen gedurende hun leven op aarde tot het besef moeten komen en zouden alle mensen moeten aansturen op God, ofwel zou de overgrote liefde en barmhartigheid van God moeten worden ontkend, als Hij het ene of andere wezen zou laten vallen, de wezens dus niet ertoe zou brengen het juiste te willen.

Er ontstaan vaak zulke verkeerde opvattingen onder de mensen en het is veel moeilijker zo’n dwaling uit de wereld te helpen, dan hem in de wereld te verspreiden. Maar om God te kunnen onderkennen moet absoluut de leugen, de dwaling, worden uitgeschakeld. Want een verward denken van de mens draagt er niet toe bij de wil op God te richten. God moet als oneindig liefdevol, wijs en almachtig worden erkend. Dan pas is het geloof aanwezig, dan pas wordt de liefde voor dit hoogst volmaakte Wezen actief en vanuit deze liefde ook de liefde voor diens schepselen. Dan staat de mens uit eigen beweging in het juiste inzicht en de juiste wil tegenover God en dan pas kan hij zich helemaal bevrijden uit het gebonden zijn, dat het gevolg was van zijn verkeerde wil.

Supplement to Nr. 1937: recognize - want.... grace....

The path through earthly existence is the only possibility to shape the being to such an extent that it can recognize God in the stage as man and is therefore able to imagine something being-like and to make contact with this being-like. The being must now also utilize this ability in order to establish the connection with God. being able to recognize and wanting to affirm.... that is the purpose of the being's stay on earth. The former is a gift of grace from God. But the being must want to affirm the deity as man himself. God can never release him from this, as otherwise the purpose on earth would be missed, which consists in the activity of the will. But the realization of the origin and the goal also allows the will to become active, consequently God's grace is indeed indirectly helpful to the human being to also will.... but the slightest resistance to it renders divine grace ineffective, and resistance is wrong will. The will will always express itself in the embodiment as man, only often the other way round, i.e. in a God-opposed sense, although everything that surrounds man bears witness to the divine creator and this therefore should be enough to also let the will become active in the right way. If God's grace would also direct this will in divine order then the world would be redeemed, for then there would truly no longer be a being to whom divine love would not want to bestow this grace. Hence all people would have to come to realization during their earthly existence and all people would have to strive towards God.... Or God would have to be denied excessive love and mercy if He let one or the other being fall and therefore did not cause them to want the right thing. Such erroneous views often arise among people, and it is far more difficult to remove such an error from the world than to spread it in the world. But in order to be able to recognize God, the lie, the error, must absolutely be eliminated, because a confused thinking of man does not contribute to directing the will towards God. God has to be recognized as infinitely loving, wise and omnipotent, only then will faith be present, only then will love for this supremely perfect being become active and out of this love also love for His living creations. Only then will man be able to recognize and will God correctly of his own accord, and only then will he be able to redeem himself completely from the bondage that was the result of his wrong will....
