Louteringsproces
Het louteringsproces, waaraan elke ziel blootgesteld is, zal zolang voortduren, totdat de gang over de aarde afgelegd is, want zolang deze aardse gang niet beëindigd is, is ook de ziel niet vrij van afvalstoffen en daarom ook niet waardig om het hoogste en zuiverste Wezen, de eeuwige Godheid, te naderen. Want elke onvolmaaktheid scheidt het wezen van God, Die toch de volmaaktheid Zelf is.
En derhalve moet eerst de volmaakte toestand bereikt zijn, voordat de versmelting met de eeuwige Godheid zich voor kan doen. Het wezen moet elke onzuiverheid afgedaan hebben. Het moet zonder tekortkomingen zijn. Het moet zich volledig gereinigd hebben en daartoe was de gang over de aarde absoluut noodzakelijk. Het was de enige mogelijkheid het wezen zo te vormen, zoals het sinds eeuwigheid zijn bestemming is. Tot een God gelijkend wezen. Tot een wezen, dat in liefde opgaat, dat in liefde dient en nu weer van zijn kant een missie uitvoert om onvolmaakte wezens naar volmaaktheid te leiden.
Zolang dit proces niet volkomen ten uitvoer gebracht is, kan de vereniging met God niet plaatsvinden. Maar God verlangt naar Zijn schepselen. De Vader wil Zijn kinderen winnen en daarom probeert Zijn eindeloze liefde de weg voor hen te verkorten. Hij stelt hen alle mogelijkheden ter beschikking om zich van de afvalstoffen te ontdoen. Hij geeft hun taken, waarvan de vervulling hen vooruitgang oplevert. Hij biedt hun hulpmiddelen aan, die eveneens in korte tijd een loutering bewerkstelligen en Hij laat het in het laatste stadium aan het wezen over om zich uit de onvrije toestand te verlossen. Hij geeft hem het vermogen om te beseffen. Hij verleent het wezen elke hulp en verlangt enkel de vrije wil van hem. Maar Hij belooft hem daarvoor in de plaats de meest vreugdevolle toestand in het hiernamaals.
En derhalve heeft juist de liefde van God Zelf ook deze toestand over de mensen afgekondigd, die het wezen aanleiding zou moeten geven tot het hoogste streven, als zijn wil eveneens de gebonden toestand zou willen ontvluchten. En God moet de mens weer leed toesturen om de wil om daaruit bevrijd te worden te stalen. Elk leed heeft alleen maar als doel het wezen naar God te laten verlangen, omdat pas dan de goddelijke genade in actie kan komen en zonder genade zou weer de kracht van de mens te gering zijn om zich te bevrijden en de wil wordt pas dan actief, als hij de zin en het doel van dat, wat hij nastreeft, herkent. Omdat de wil van de mens geëist wordt, moet hij door lijden en nood zo beïnvloed worden, dat hij zich daarheen wendt, waar de laatste verlossing hem wenkt, naar de eeuwige Godheid, Die in Haar liefde steeds probeert om de toestand van lijden van het wezen te verkorten.

Purification process....
The process of purification to which every soul is subjected will last until the earthly change has been completed, for until this is finished the soul is not free of dross and consequently not yet worthy of approaching the highest and purest being, the eternal deity. For every imperfection separates the being from God, who is perfection itself. And thus the state of perfection must first be reached before the fusion with the eternal deity can take place, the being must have put away all impurity, it must be without error, it must have completely purified itself, and for this the path on earth was indispensable.... it was the only possibility to shape the being as it has been destined to be since eternity.... into a God-like being, into a being which is absorbed in love, which serves in love and now in turn carries out the same mission of bringing imperfect beings to perfection. Until this process has been fully accomplished, union with God cannot take place.... but God longs for His living creations, the father wants to win His children, and thus His infinite love seeks to shorten their path. He provides them with every opportunity to rid themselves of the dross, He sets them tasks the solution of which will bring them progress, He offers them aids which likewise accomplish a purification in a shorter time, and in the final stage He leaves it up to the being to redeem itself from the unfree state.... He gives it the power of realization, He grants the being all help and only demands free will from it.... but in return assures him the most luminous state in the beyond. And thus it is precisely God's love Itself which has also imposed those states on the human being which would have to cause the being to strive supremely if its will likewise wanted to escape the banished state. And again God has to send suffering to man in order to steel the will to become free from it. The only purpose of all suffering is to make the being long for God, since only then can divine grace come into action and without grace the human being's strength to liberate himself would be too weak again, and the will will only become active when it regocnizes the meaning and purpose of what it is striving for. Since the human being's will is challenged he has to be influenced by suffering and adversity such that he turns to where final redemption beckons him.... to the eternal deity, Which in Its love always seeks to shorten the being's state of suffering....
