물질을 극복하는 일.

어떤 사람도 자신의 혼을 영화시킬 수 없다. 다시 말해 그의 심장이 아직 물질을 향해 있는 혼이 자신 안의 영의 불씨와 하나가 되게 도울 수 없다. 왜냐면 이런 사람은 자신 안의 영의 음성에 주의를 기울이지 않기 때문이다. 그의 생각하는 것과 원하는 것과 행하는 것은 항상 단지 세상을 향할 것이다.

그는 자신의 혼을 굶주리게 할 것이다. 반면에 그는 육체에게는 육체가 원하는 모든 것을 행할 것이다. 사람이 자기 사랑을 극복하면, 그가 세상적인 갈망을 없애고 영이 요구하는 것에 주의를 기울이면, 혼과 영은 비로소 하나가 될 것이다. 영은 혼을 아버지에게 이끌기 원하고 혼이 나와 연결을 이루어 내가 이제 스스로 영을 통해 혼에게 역사할 수 있게 하려고 한다.

그러므로 항상 사람을 묶으려고 시도하는 세력은 그 종류가 서로가 전적으로 다른 두 개의 나라라는 것을 생각해야만 한다. 이 땅의 나라는 단지 물질적인 재물을 제공한다. 그러나 영의 나라는 쇠하지 않는 재물을 제공한다. 그러나 쇠하지 않는 재물은 세상의 물질처럼 환영을 받지 못한다. 그러므로 사람은 볼 수 있고 만질 수 있는 것을 소유하기를 더 좋아하고 이를 구한다.

그러나 영적인 재물은 공개적으로 잘 알아볼 수 없다. 그러므로 단지 소수의 사람들이 영적인 재물을 추구한다. 그러나 혼을 영화 시키는 일이 이 땅의 삶의 목표요 목적이다. 왜냐면 이 땅을 떠나는 시간이 오면, 혼은 자신의 거할 장소를 바꾸어 영의 나라로 들어가고 육체는 그가 이 땅에서 추구했던 모든 것과 함께 사라지지만 혼은 남기 때문이다.

혼이 이제 이미 이 땅에서 영화되는 일에 도달하면, 혼은 빛나는 빛의 옷을 입고 영의 나라의 들어가고 복을 받는다. 그러나 육체가 이 땅에 우선권을 누렸다면, 혼은 불쌍할 것이다. 왜냐면 혼은 소멸될 수 없지만 그러나 혼의 성숙한 정도에 따라 그의 영의 나라에서 계속되는 삶이 이뤄지기 때문이다.

이는 자주 깊은 곳으로 다시 떨어지는 일이 일어날 수 있는 영적인 정지 상태를 의미한다. 왜냐면 그러면 혼은 그의 이 땅의 삶을 헛되게 살았기 때문이다. 혼은 어떠한 영적인 성장도 이루지 못했다. 왜냐면 혼은 물질을 극복하는 대신에 더 많은 가치를 두었기 때문이다. 사람은 물질적인 세계를 통과해야만 한다.

그는 물질의 지배자가 되려고 시도해야만 한다. 그러나 그는 물질의 종이나 또는 노예가 되어는 안 된다. 왜냐면 그러면 그는 자신을 성장시키지 못할 것이기 때문이다. 그러면 혼은 자신 안의 영과 하나가 되게 돕는 성장 정도에 도달하지 못하기 때문이다. 사람은 자기 사랑을 극복해야만 한다. 그러면 그는 물질에 대한 지배자이다.

그러면 그는 물질을 포기할 수 있고 기쁨으로 포기할 것이다. 그러면 그는 이 일을 기쁨으로 행할 것이다. 그러면 그는 자신의 이 땅의 삶의 목적을 깨달았고 이 목적을 성취했다. 그러면 그는 자원해 영의 인도를 받는다. 그러므로 나 자신이 그에게 역사할 수 있다. 그는 최종적으로 높은 것으로 성장해야만 한다.

왜냐면 그 안의 내 역사가 이제 진실로 영적인 성공을 할 것이기 때문이다. 왜냐면 그 안의 영이 영원한 아버지의 영에게 달려가고 하나가 되는 일이 일어날 수 있기 때문이다. 이렇게 되기 위해 혼이 영화 되야 한다. 영화 된 혼은 전적으로 자신을 물질로부터 자유롭고 단지 영의 나라를 추구하고 그의 아버지 집으로 돌아 가는 길에 들어선다.

사람은 항상 단지 그의 사랑이 얼마나 자기 자신에게 향해 있는지 질문해야 한다. 왜냐면 그가 자신을 극복하였을 때 비로소 그의 나를 향한 사랑이 이제 나와 영원히 떨어질 수 없게 연합될 수 있는 정도에 도달하기 때문이다.

Transcending Matter....

No human being can spiritualize his soul, i.e. help it to unite with the spiritual spark within himself which still has turned its heart towards matter, for it will not pay attention to the voice of the spirit within itself, its thinking, wanting and acting will only ever be worldly oriented and it will leave its soul in want while it will do everything to the body which it demands. The soul and the spirit will only come to an agreement when the human being overcomes selfish love, when he eliminates earthly desires and pays attention to what the spirit demands, which tries to draw the soul to the father, which tries to determine it to establish the connection with Me so that I Myself can now also influence the soul through the spirit. Thus it must always be kept in mind that there are two kingdoms which try to captivate the human being but which completely differ from each other in their nature.... The earthly kingdom only offers material goods, the spiritual kingdom, however, such goods which are imperishable.... But the latter cannot be perceived as well as earthly goods, and therefore the human being seeks to rather come into possession of that which is visible and tangible. Spiritual goods, however, are not so openly perceptible and therefore only few people strive for them. But the spiritualization of the soul is the aim and purpose of earthly life, because the soul then changes its abode and passes over into the spiritual kingdom when the hour of its departure from this earth has come; then the body and with it everything it had striven for on earth will perish.... but the soul will remain, and if it has already been able to achieve spiritualization on earth then it will enter the spiritual kingdom in a radiant garment of light and will be blissfully happy.... But if the body has enjoyed priority in earthly life, then the soul is pitiful, for it cannot pass away, but according to its state of maturity its further life is then in the spiritual kingdom. And this often also means a spiritual standstill, which can be followed by a decline into the abyss. For then it has covered its earthly life in vain, it has not achieved spiritual progress because it has attached too much value to matter instead of overcoming it. The human being has to pass through the material world, he has to try to become master but he must not become a servant or slave to matter, for then he will not progress in his development, then the soul will not attain the maturity which will help it to unite with its spirit within itself.... The human being has to overcome selfish love, then he will be master of matter, then he can divest himself of it, and then he will also do so joyfully, and then he will have recognized his purpose of earthly life and also fulfilled it. Then he will willingly let himself be guided by his spirit, and thus I Myself will be able to influence him and he will have to ascend irrevocably, because My working in him will then truly be spiritually successful.... because the spirit in him will then push towards the eternal father-spirit and the unification can take place, which precisely requires a spiritualized soul which has completely detached itself from matter, which only strives for the spiritual kingdom and has taken the path back into its father's house. And the human being should only ever ask himself to what extent his love still applies to himself.... For only when he has overcome himself will his love for Me have reached the degree that the union can take place, which is now eternally indissoluble...._>Amen
