구속하는 일은 하기 위해는 자신이 구속을 받는 것을 전제로 한다.

모든 각각의 사람들이 구속하는 일을 할 수 있고 해야 한다. 다시 말해 자신의 이웃이나 저세상에 있는 혼이 묶임으로부터 자유롭게 되게 도와야 한다. 그러나 그는 먼저 자신을 유일하게 사슬로부터 벗어나게 해줄 수 있는 예수 그리스도를 통해 구속을 받아야만 한다. 그런 후 그가 다시 구속하는 일을 할 수 있게 하는 힘을 예수 그리스도로부터 받아야 한다. 이를 통해 자신의 이웃에게 복음을 전하기 원하는 모든 사람은 전적으로 모두 그리스도의 영으로 충만해야만 한다는 것을 너희가 알 수 있고 그러므로 그가 올바른 기독교인의 삶을 살고 자신이 예수 그리스도의 구속을 받은 것을 나타내야만 한다는 것을 알 수 있다.

묶임을 받은 존재에게 도움을 주는 일에 힘과 자유가 필요하다. 그러나 이 전에 예수 그리스도를 통한 구속을 받지 못한 어떤 사람도 힘과 자유가 없다. 그러나 구속을 받았다는 것은 하나님의 대적자의 권세로부터 자유롭게 되었다는 것이다. 하나님의 대적자는 사람들에게 항상 단지 부정적인 방향으로 영향을 미치고 사람들이 하나님의 구세주 예수 그리스도를 멀리한 상태에 있는 동안에 그들에 대한 권세를 갖는다. 그의 권세는 사랑이 없는 삶의 방식으로 모든 종류의 허물과 죄악으로 나타나고 이런 상태는 볼 수 있는 온전하지 못한 상태이고 모든 구속을 받지 못한 사람들이 처한 상태이다.

이런 사람은 자신의 이웃을 구속하는 일을 할 능력이 없고 그들은 저세상 나라에 있는 구속을 받지 못한 존재들을 돕기를 원하지 않을 것이다. 왜냐면 그가 그들의 위험을 긍휼히 여기는 사랑을 행할 수 없기 때문이다. 이런 사람은 복음을 전하는 일을 합당하지 않다. 왜냐면 그의 말은 힘이 없고 죽은 자를 절대로 생명으로 깨어나게 할 수 없기 때문이고 그 자신이 아직 구속을 받지 못했기 때문이다. 그러나 성공적인 구속하는 일은 단지 예수 그리스도의 은혜와 힘으로 행할 수 있다.

그러므로 너희 사람들은 묶임을 받은 상태와 하나님의 대적자에게 속한 상태가 아주 드러나게 나타나는 일로 인해 놀랄 필요 없다. 왜냐면 구속하는 일을 할 수 있는 사람들이 부족하기 때문이다. 하나님의 구세주를 따르고 고백하는 사람들이 부족하다. 그들 자신이 하나님의 구세주에게 헌신함으로 깨달음과 힘을 얻고 이를 통해 불행한 이웃들이 구속을 받을 수 있게 돕는 사람들이 부족하고 진정으로 구속을 받은 사람들이 부족하다. 왜냐면 이런 사람들은 이제 스스로 그들의 일을 하기 때문이다. 왜냐면 그들은 이제 내면으로부터 자신을 행복하게 하는 자유를 그들의 이웃에게 주라는 재촉을 받기 때문이다.

스스로 예수 그리스도에게 향하는 길을 찾고 이 길을 의식적으로 가는 사람은 그들의 이웃들이 같은 길을 가게 유도하면서 부르고 이웃들을 예수 그리스도에게 인도한다. 그는 이웃들이 구속을 받았다는 증거를 깨달을 수 있게 될 때까지 쉬지 않을 것이고 그가 성공을 하면 할수록 그는 더욱 열심히 자신의 일을 행할 것이다. 왜냐면 그의 구속하는 일을 위해 그에게 흘러가는 힘이 향상 증가되기 때문이다. 하나님은 아름다운 말과 처신에 속지 않는다. 어떤 사람도 예수 그리스도를 통한 구속을 받은 것처럼 속일 수 없다. 왜냐면 이런 구속은 깨달을 수 있게 겉으로 나타나기 때문이다.

자신의 유익을 구하지 않는 사랑을 행하는 일이 대적자의 권세로부터 구속을 받았다는 가장 확실한 증거이다. 그러나 이런 증거를 깨달을 수 없으면, 사람은 모든 진지함으로 이웃의 구속을 위해 자신을 드리지 않을 것이다. 왜냐면 비록 그가 입으로 그를 고백할지라도 그에게 믿음이 없기 때문이다. 그 자신이 아직 죄 가운데 있고 그는 아직 대적자의 권세 아래 있고 그는 예수 그리스도를 통한 구속의 축복을 알지 못한다. 그는 자신이 예수 그리스도의 구속사역의 의미를 아직 이해하지 못한 죽은 자로써 예수를 전하는 자이고 죽은 자로써 예수를 전하는 자로 머물 것이다.

그러나 반면에 예수의 피를 통해 구속을 받은 모든 사람이 외적인 구속하는 일을 위한 특권을 가질 필요 없이 구속하는 일을 행할 수 있고 그는 그의 삶의 방식을 통해 그가 대적자로부터 자유롭게 되었다는 것을 증명할 수 있다. 그는 모든 힘을 드려 예수 그리스도와 그의 가르침을 위해 나설 수 있고 그는 자신의 이웃에게 유일하게 그들의 묶임을 풀어줄 수 있는 분을 알려 줄 수 있다. 그는 조용하게 일할 수 있고 자신을 이 땅의 하나님의 대리자라고 소개하지만 그러나 하나님의 대적자를 더 많이 대변하는 사람보다 아주 성공할 수 있다. 그는 자기 자신의 모범과 중보 기도를 통해 혼들의 구원을 위해 많은 기여를 할 수 있고 그는 이 땅에서 이미 그리고 한때 영의 나라에서 열심히 일하는 하나님의 동역자가 될 수 있다. 왜냐면 내 사랑과 구속을 받았다는 증거가 쉬지 않고 아직 구속을 받지 못한 사람들을 돕도록 그를 자극하기 때문이다.

Redemption work presupposes own redemption....

Every individual can and should carry out redemptive work, i.e. help his fellow human beings or also the souls in the beyond to become free from bondage. But he must first have found redemption himself through Jesus Christ, Who alone can remove the chains from him and thus also enable him to be active in redemption again. And thus you can conclude that every person who wants to proclaim the gospel to his fellow human being must be completely filled by the spirit of Christ, that he therefore lives a true christianity and identifies himself as redeemed by Jesus Christ. To bring help to the bound requires strength and freedom, which no human being possesses who has not first been redeemed by Jesus Christ. Redemption, however, means to have become free from the power of God's adversary, who always only influences the human being in a negative way and also has power over him as long as he still stands apart from the divine redeemer Jesus Christ. And his power is expressed in an unloving way of life, in faults and vices of all kinds, in a visibly imperfect state, in which therefore everything unredeemed is found.... And such a person is not able to be redemptively active towards his fellow human beings. Nor will he want to help the unredeemed in the kingdom of the beyond because he cannot muster compassionate love for their hardship.... And such a person is also not suitable for proclaiming the gospel, for his words will have no strength and will never be able to awaken the dead to life. He himself is still unredeemed.... Successful redemptive work, however, can only be accomplished with the grace and power of Jesus Christ.... And therefore you humans should not be surprised that the bondage, the affiliation with God's adversary, is so openly apparent, for there is a lack of helpers who can be active in redemption.... There is a lack of followers and confessors of the divine redeemer who themselves draw knowledge and strength from their devotion to Him to also help their unhappy fellow human beings to salvation.... There is a lack of truly redeemed people.... For these now set to work themselves, because they are urged from within to also bring their fellow human beings the freedom which now makes them happy.... Anyone who has found the path to Jesus Christ himself and has consciously walked it will also lure and call his fellow human beings onto the same path, he will lead them to Jesus Christ himself, he will not rest until the signs of salvation are also recognizable in them.... And he will become more diligent in his work the more success he achieves, for the strength which flows to him for his work of salvation will always increase. God cannot be deceived by beautiful words and gestures, and no human being can feign redemption through Jesus Christ, for this also has an outwardly recognizable effect. And an unselfish work of love is the surest sign of redemption from the power of the adversary. But if this is not recognizable, then the human being is not fully committed to the work of redemption for his fellow human beings, for then he also lacks faith, even if he confesses it with his mouth.... He himself is still in sin, he is still under the power of the adversary, he does not know the bliss of redemption through Jesus Christ.... And he is and remains a dead proclaimer of Jesus who himself has not yet grasped the significance of His act of salvation. But again, anyone who has found redemption through Jesus' blood can do redemptive work himself without being privileged outwardly for it.... He can prove his freedom from the adversary through his way of life, he can vigorously stand up for Jesus Christ and His teaching, he can point his fellow human beings to Him, Who alone can loosen their bonds; he can work in silence and achieve more success than those who call themselves God's representatives on earth but represent His adversary far more.... He can contribute a great deal to the souls' redemption through his own example and intercession, he can already be an eager co-worker for God on earth and one day in the spiritual kingdom, because My love.... the sign of being redeemed.... incessantly urges him to bring help to those who are still unredeemed....
