죽음에 대한 두려움.

모든 혼은 영원으로 향하는 문을 통과해야만 한다. 어떤 사람도 이 과정을 피할 수 없고 모두가 언젠가 이 땅에서 거하는 일을 저세상에서 머무르는 일과 교환해야 하고 모두가 그들의 무거운 육체를 벗어야만 한다. 왜냐면 혼이 단지 저세상의 나라에 들어가고 모든 세상적인 것은 비록 혼이 세상적인 것들과 강하게 연결되어 있을지라도 이 땅에 남겨지기 때문이다. 그러나 혼은 저세상의 나라로 들어갈 때 기뻐하고 환호할 수 있다. 그러나 혼은 또한 인간이 이 땅에서 산 삶에 따라 가장 큰 불행과 궁핍과 빈곤에 처하게 될 수 있다.

영의 나라에서 머무르는 일이 또한 가장 아름다운 이 땅의 삶을 퇴색시킬 수 있고 또한 이런 아름다운 이 땅의 삶을 아주 어두운 환경으로 바꿔야만 하게 될 수 있고 혼은 이미 이 전에 이를 느끼고 따라서 가능한한 오랫동안 몸을 떠나는 일로부터 자신을 방어한다. 그러나 모든 사람이 몸을 떠나는 순간을 을 맞이하고 어느 누구도 단 하루라도 생명을 연장할 수 없다. 이 땅에서 분리되는 시간은 영원으로부터 정해져 있고 혼은 하나님의 법에 순종해야만 한다. 그러나 이 땅에서 영의 나라로 전환을 영광스럽게 만드는 일은 혼 자신의 손에 달려 있다. 그러면 혼은 이 시간을 기다릴 수 없게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 혼이 무거운 이 땅의 옷으로부터 자유롭게 되고 영의 옷을 입게 될 것이기 때문이다. 혼은 이제 영의 옷을 입고 자유롭게 축복되게 살 수 있게 되고 이런 축복된 운명을 마련해 준 그들의 창조주 아버지에게 찬양을 칭송을 드리게 된다.

이 땅에서 부름받는 날이 모든 사람에게 피할 수 없게 다가온다. 죽음은 대부분의 사람들에게 두려움과 공포이다. 그들은 죽음을 불편하게 생각하고 이런 공포를 없애기 위해 아무 일도 하지 않는다. 왜냐면 그들이 믿지 않기 때문이다. 그러나 그들은 내면의 가장 깊은 곳에서 죽음의 순간을 두려워한다. 그들이 진지하게 자신을 점검하고 언젠가 그들이 책임을 져야만 하게 되면, 자신들이 합격할 수 있는지 어떻게 합격할 수 있는지 공의로운 판단을 내릴 때까지 그들의 이런 불안이 없어지지 않을 것이다.

진지한 자기 성찰이 그들 자신을 변화시키게 만들 수 있고 하나님의 뜻대로 살게 하거나 또는 그들 자신이 올바르다고 생각하는 대로 살게 할 수 있다. 비록 그들이 아직 진정으로 믿을 수 없을지라도 자신에 대한 작업을 더 많이 할수록 그들 안에 죽음의 시간에 대한 두려움이 줄어들 것이다. 올바르고 공의로운 삶에 사랑을 행하는 일이 포함되어 있고 그러면 믿음의 가르침은 더 이상 영접할 수 없게 보이지 않게 될 것이고 그는 전에는 그에게 영향을 미치지 않았던 질문에 대해 생각을 한다. 왜냐면 올바르게 살려는 의지가 이미 그가 믿기 어려워하는 하나님께 한 걸음 더 가까이 다가가게 하기 때문이다.

모든 사람은 옳고 공의로운 것이 무엇인지 알거나 또는 느낀다. 그러므로 그가 자신의 감정에 의해 더 많이 인도를 받게 하면, 그는 다르게 생각하는 법을 배우게 될 것이고 그는 자신의 죽음과 죽음 후의 상태에 더 많은 관심을 가질 것이고 더 침착하게 그의 죽음을 바라보게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 그가 이제 자신의 내면의 음성을 더 많이 따르고 그가 옳다고 생각하는 대로 행하고 믿는 법을 배우기 때문이다. 그러면 그는 또한 자신의 시간이 끝나기 전에 하나님을 발견하고 그는 또한 죽음의 시간에 대한 두려움을 갖지 않게 된다.

Fear of death....

Every soul has to pass through the gate to eternity, no human being can turn away from this path, everyone has to exchange his stay on earth with the stay in the kingdom of the beyond.... All must discard their heavy earthly body, because only the soul enters that kingdom, but everything earthly remains on earth, even if the soul is still so strongly connected to it. Yet it can rejoice and exult on entering the kingdom of the beyond but also arrive there in utmost unhappiness, in hardship and poverty, depending on the human being's life on earth. The stay in the spiritual kingdom can also cause the most beautiful earthly life to fade, but this can also have to be exchanged for extremely dark surroundings, which the soul already feels before and therefore resists leaving the body as long as possible. Yet all people are facing this hour, and no-one can prolong his life by just one day.... the hour of departure from this earth has been foreseen since eternity, and the soul has to bow to divine law. But it has it in its own hands to shape the transition from the earthly to the spiritual kingdom gloriously, and then it will not be able to wait for the hour when it will be released from the heavy earthly garment and clothed in a spiritual garment in which it can now move freely and blissfully and offer praise and thanks to its creator and father Who has prepared this blissful fate for it. Irrevocably, every human being is called away from this earth.... and death means fear and terror for most people, they think of it with unease and do nothing to get rid of this terror.... because they don't believe but are nevertheless deeply afraid of the hour of death. And they will not get rid of this uneasiness until they seriously examine themselves, until they give themselves an account of whether and how they could survive if they had to answer for it..... A serious self-examination could cause them to change, to live according to God's will or according to what they themselves know to be right.... and their fear of the hour of death will diminish the more they work on themselves, even if they are not yet able to believe correctly. A right and righteous way of life also includes loving actions, and then the teachings of faith will no longer seem so unacceptable; the human being will occupy himself in thought with questions which previously did not touch him.... because the will to live right is already a step closer to God, in Whom it is difficult for him to believe.... Every person knows or feels what is right and just, and if he only allows himself to be guided more by his feelings, he will also learn to think differently.... he will be more concerned with his departure and the state afterwards, and he will look forward to his end more calmly, for now he will follow his inner voice more, he will act as he deems right, and he will learn to believe.... And then he will also find God before his time is over, and the hour of death will also have lost its terror for him....
