선한 의지를 가진 사람들에게 평화.

선한 의지를 가진 이 땅의 사람들에게 평화가 임할지어다. 하나님의 구세주가 태어난 그날 밤을 기억하라. 그의 탄생과 또한 그의 죽음과 그의 구속역사를 기억하라. 그는 구속역사를 위해 이 땅에 임했다. 너희 사람들을 너희의 속박에서 구원하기 위해 육체를 입고 십자가에서 자신을 희생한 구세주의 위대한 사랑을 기억하라. 그는 너희에게 평화를 주기를 원했고 너희 혼을 구원하기를 원했다. 그는 너희를 영원한 죽음에서 구원하기를 원했고 너희에게 생명을 주기를 원했다. 그는 자신의 피조물이 자녀가 되기를 원했고 아버지의 집으로 다시 데려오기를 원했다.

그의 아주 큰 사랑이 사람들 가운데 구원하는 일을 하고 자신의 양들을 자신에게 모으고 누구도 막을 수 없었기 때문에 자신의 양떼들에게 침입한 늑대의 발톱에서 잃어버린 양들을 구출하기 위해 자신이 이 땅에 임하게 했다. 모든 사람은 하나님의 원수인 그의 권세 안에 있었다. 그러므로 구세주가 사람들을 원수의 권세로부터 구원하기 위해 높은 곳에서 임했다. 그러나 이를 위해 그는 원수에게 희생을 바쳐야만 했다. 왜냐면 원수가 그의 속박을 풀어주지 않았기 때문이다. 왜냐면 원수에게 사람들에 대한 권리가 있었기 때문이다. 왜냐면 사람들이 자원하여 그를 깊은 곳까지 따라 갔고 그와 같이 죄를 지었기 때문이다.

그들이 이제 스스로 몸값을 지불해야만 했고 지불하기에는 그들이 너무 연약했다. 그러나 그들은 또한 한때 하나님을 대적한 측량할 수 없는 죄에 대해 하나님께 속죄해야만 했다. 이런 일이 그들에게는 절대로 가능하지 않게 되었을 것이다. 그러므로 그들에게 도움이 주어지지 않았다면, 하나님 자신이 그들에게 긍휼을 베풀지 않았다면, 그들은 하나님의 대적자에게 영원히 빠져 있어야만 했다. 그는 너희의 빚을 속죄하고 너희를 위해 대속물을 지불했고 너희 죄를 위해 십자가에서 죽었다. 그 자신이 인간을 죄와 죽음에서 구원했다.

단지 사랑이 너희를 구원할 수 있다. 그러므로 영원한 사랑이 어린 아기 안으로 육신을 입었다. 아이는 순결하게 죄 없이 이 땅에 임했고 또한 인간으로서 사람들 가운데 머무는 동안에 죄없고 순결하게 머물렀다. 인간 예수는 하나님의 사랑을 자신 안으로 받아드렸고 그의 이웃을 향한 이런 아주 큰 사랑으로 세상에서 단 한번 일어난 긍휼의 역사를 완성했다. 그는 십자가에서 고통을 받고 죽었다. 왜냐면 사랑이 그가 자신을 하나님께 속죄제사로 드리게 했기 때문이다. 그는 인류의 모든 죄를 스스로 짊어지고 죄에 대한 보상을 했다. 사랑이 사람들을 구원하기 위해 모든 것을 견뎠다.

구세주가 이 땅에 임했을 때 큰 긍휼의 역사를 행해졌다. 한 줄기 빛이 이 땅으로 비추었고 이 빛이 고통당하는 그들의 상태에서 하나님께 도움을 청한 소수의 사람들의 심장 안을 밝게 비췄다. 아기 예수가 빛을 발산했고 소수의 사람들이 이 빛을 선지자들과 선견자들이 세상에 예언한 메시아로 깨달았다. 그들은 아기에게 그들의 경배를 드렸고 그들을 긍휼히 여긴 하나님을 찬양하고 칭송했다. 그들은 자신 안에 평화를 찾을 수 있었다.

그러나 이런 사람들은 소수이고 현재에도 단지 소수의 사람들이 사랑과 감사함으로 죄악 된 인류를 위해 자신을 희생한 구세주의 심장을 생각한다. 그러나 이런 소수의 사람들이 단지 평화를 찾게 될 것이다. 예수 그리스도를 하나님의 아들이자 구세주로 믿고 그들의 심장 안으로 빛이 비추이게 하고 사람들을 구속하기 위해 아기 예수 안에서 세상에 임한 구세주 앞에서 충만한 겸손으로 무릎을 꿇는 이런 소수의 사람들이 단지 구원을 받게 될 것이다.

Peace to all men of good will....

Peace on earth to men of good will.... Remember the night when the divine Redeemer came into the world.... remember His birth but also His death, His act of Salvation, for the sake of which He descended to earth.... Remember His greater than great love which motivated Him to live in the flesh and to subsequently sacrifice Himself on the cross in order to bring redemption to humanity from its bondage.... He wanted to bring you peace, the salvation of your souls.... He wanted to save you from eternal death, He wanted to give you life.... He wanted His living creations to become children and fetch them back into the Father's house.... He was motivated by His boundless love to descend to earth in order to carry out a work of deliverance in the midst of people, in order to gather His little sheep, in order to rescue the lost ones from the claws of the wolf which had broken into His flock because no-one was able to stop him.... All people were under the control of the one who was His enemy and therefore the Saviour came down from above in order to snatch them from his control.... However, in return He had to make a sacrifice for the adversary, because he would not release his captives since they voluntarily followed him into the abyss and became as sinful as him.... They would have had to pay the ransom themselves and were too weak to do so.... But they would also have had to make their own

Amends with God due to the inconceivable sin of their past resistance to God.... They would never have been able to achieve this, and thus they would have been enslaved by God's adversary forever had they not received help.... had God Himself not taken mercy upon them.... And He atoned for the guilt on your behalf, He paid the ransom for you.... He died on the cross for your sins.... He Himself redeemed you humans from sin and death....

Only love was able to redeem you humans, hence the Eternal Love embodied Itself in a human being, in a child Which was born without sin and in all purity and also remained without sin and pure as long as It lived as a human being amongst people.... The human being Jesus accepted the divine love within Himself, and this greater than great love for His fellow human being made Him accomplish an act of mercy as happened only once in the world.... He suffered and died on the cross because love motivated Him to offer God the sacrifice of atonement.... He took all of humanity's sins upon Himself and made

Amends for them.... Love endured everything in order to redeem the people.... A great act of compassion commenced when the Saviour came into the world.... A ray of light fell to earth, it shone brightly into the hearts of the few who languished in their adversity and called upon God for help.... The infant Jesus emanated light and a few recognised Him as the Messiah, Whom seers and prophets had proclaimed to the world. And they paid homage to the small child.... They praised and glorified God, Who had taken pity on them and found peace in their hearts.... Yet there were only a few and even today there are only a few who think in their hearts with love and gratitude of the One Who sacrificed Himself for the sinful human race.... But only these few will find peace, only these few can be redeemed who believe in Jesus Christ as God's Son and Redeemer and allow the light to shine into their hearts.... who humbly bow down to their Saviour, Who came into the world as the infant Jesus in order to redeem humanity....
