생명의 근원. 주의 만찬. 살과 피.

너희는 항상 계속하여 생명의 근원에서 길러야 하고, 그러면 너희에게 높은 곳으로 올라갈 힘이 절대로 부족하지 않을 것이다. 너희에게 제공되는 것은 너희의 삶의 길에서 긴급하게 필요한 혼의 양식이다. 그러므로 내가 나의 식탁에서 너희를 먹이기를 원하면, 너희는 혼의 양식을 무관심하게 지나치면서 혼을 굶주리게 해서는 안 된다.

나는 너희의 혼을 강하게 하기 위해 양식과 포도주를 너희에게 주기를 원한다. 내가 제공하는 식탁은 나의 손님이 되기 원하는 이 땅의 굶주린 순례자들을 위해 항상 마련되어 있다. 나는 그들을 먹이고 마시게 하고, 나에 의해 쾌활하게 되기를 원하는 어떤 사람도 나에 의해 배부르게 되지 않은 상태로 나를 떠나지 않게 한다. 그러나 나에게 대항하는 사람에게 나는 내 선물을 받도록 강요하지 않지만, 그에게 조언을 한다. 즉 이 땅에서 가장 귀한 것을 주는 생명의 샘을 지나치지 말라고 조언을 한다. 그는 가는 길에서 잠시 머물고, 그가 자신에게 제공되는 것을 섭취하지 않는다면, 길을 끝까지 가기에 자신의 힘이 충분한 지 생각해봐야 한다. 왜냐면 그가 종착점 직전에 쓰러져 계속 길을 가기 위해 더 이상 일어날 수 없게 되면, 그가 몹시 후회할 것이기 때문이다.

목표를 달성해야 하는 존재가 몸이 아니라 혼이기 때문에 너희 사람들에게 혼을 강하게 해주는 모든 것이 필요하다. 너희는 실제 충분하게 몸을 돌보지만 혼은 굶주리게 한다. 너희에게 혼의 생명의 원천을 열어주면, 너희는 원천을 서둘러 지나치고 혼을 약하게 하여, 혼이 위로 성장하는 이 땅의 과제를 수행할 수 없게 한다. 왜냐면 혼에게 부족한 것을 세상이 줄 수 없고, 내가 단지 혼에게 하늘에서 온 양식을 줄 수 있기 때문이다. 내가 혼에게 주는 양식이 유일하게 혼이 위로 향하는 길에 힘을 얻게 하고, 이 양식이 나의 말씀이다. 나의 말씀은 내 사랑을 통해 높은 곳에서 혼에게 전해진다.

내 말씀을 자신 안으로 영접하는 사람은 많은 힘을 받게 될 것이고, 어려움이 없이 성장해 나갈 수 있게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 내 말씀은 너무나 효력이 있는 양식이고, 사람이 더 이상 연약함을 알지 못하게 하고, 나에게 도달하려는 강한 의지로 충만하게 해주기 때문이다. 나는 나의 모든 피조물을 갈망하는 사랑으로 길의 끝에 서서 그들을 향해 손을 펼친다. 그러므로 내 사랑은 끊임없이 이 땅의 자녀들에게 힘을 주기를 갈망하고, 이 힘은 내가 단지 나의 말씀을 통해서 그들에게 줄 수 있다. 나는 그들에게 끊임없이 내 말씀과 내 살과 내 피를 제공하기를 원한다. 왜냐면 그들이 나에게 가까이 다가오기 위해 나 자신을 영접해야만 하기 때문이다. 왜냐면 그들이 내가 없이는 높은 곳에 도달할 수 없기 때문이다. 그러므로 나는 그들이 내 말씀 안에서 나 자신을 이해하게 하고, 이로써 그들이 축복되게 한다.

(1950년 8월 4일) 내가 임재하도록 만들기 위해 외적으로 알아볼 수 있는 의식이 필요하지 않다. 왜냐면 사람이 항상 단지 모든 고요함 가운데 자신의 내면에 귀를 기울일 때, 사람이 내 말씀을 들을 수 있기 때문이다. 그러므로 그가 생각으로 내 말씀을 들을 수 있게 해주는 나와의 긴밀한 관계를 맺는다면, 혼이 비로소 나에 의해 양식을 받게 될 것이다. 이런 긴밀한 관계는 외적인 증거나, 의식이나, 눈에 보이는 행동이 필요하지 않다.

내 사랑의 은혜의 흐름을 흘려줄 수 있기 위해, 사람의 혼이 강하게 될 필요가 있기 때문에 사람을 진정으로 먹이고 마시게 하기 위해 내가 요구하는 모든 것은 열린 심장이다. 나는 말씀 안에서 내 자신을 계시함으로써 나와의 긴밀한 관계에 보답한다. 내 말씀은 하늘에서 오는 만나이고, 나의 말씀은 내 사랑을 보증한다. 왜냐면 모든 사람을 내 말씀을 통해 가르치는 유일한 수단이 내 말씀이기 때문이다. 내 말씀은 수단이고 동시에 목적이다. 왜냐면 내 말씀은 나에게 이끌고, 나로부터 온 힘이고, 이로써 사람이 성장하도록 돕기 때문이다.

내 말씀은 시작도 끝도 없는 나를 증명하고, 나 자신을 분명하게 계시한다. 즉 나의 살과 피를 영접하기 원하는 모든 사람에게 내 살과 피를 분명하게 계시한다. 너희는 모두는 내 은혜의 선물로 자신을 쾌활하게 해야 한다. 너희는 모두는 굶주리고 목마른 심장으로 내 음성을 갈망해야 한다. 너희 모두는 나에 의해 양을 받기를 갈망해야 한다. 너희는 항상 양식과 포도주를 받을 것이다. 나는 항상 너희를 주의 만찬에 초대할 것이고, 나의 손님인 너희의 몸과 혼에 필요한 모든 것을 너희에게 제공할 것이다. 너희 혼에게 생수가 흐르는 원천을 열리면, 너희 혼은 절대로 굶주릴 필요가 없게 될 것이다.

Source of life.... holy communion.... flesh and blood....

You should always and constantly draw from the source of life, and you will never lack the strength to ascend. What you are offered is nourishment for your soul, which you urgently need on your path through life, and therefore you should not let your soul go hungry by indifferently passing it by when I want to feed you at My table.... I will give you bread and wine to strengthen your soul, and My table of gifts is always laid for hungry earthly wanderers who want to be My guests. I feed them and give them drink and let no one go from Me unsated who wants to be refreshed by Me. But I don't force anyone who resists Me to accept My gift, yet I advice him not to pass by the gift of life which opens up the most delicious things on earth to him. He should keep still for a while during his walk and think about whether his strength will suffice until the end of the path if he does not accept strengthening when it is offered to him. For he will bitterly regret it if he sinks down before the end and can no longer rise to continue the path. You humans all need strengthening, for it is not the body that should reach its aim but the soul. You certainly provide abundantly for the body but you leave the soul in want, and if a source of life opens up for it, it rushes past and you weaken it so that it cannot fulfil its earthly task of developing upwards, for what it lacks cannot be given to it by the world but only I can hand it the nourishment, the bread from the heavens, which alone gives it strength on the path upwards. The nourishment I give it is My word, which is conveyed to it from above through My love.... Anyone who accepts My word within himself will receive much strength and effortlessly be able to cover the ascent, for My word is such effective nourishment and such life-awakening drink that the human being no longer knows any weakness and is filled with strong will to reach Me, Who stands at the end of the path and stretches out My hands towards him in longing love for all My living creations. And thus My love is constantly intent on conveying the strength to the earthly children which can only be imparted to them through My word. I constantly want to offer them My word, My flesh and My blood, because they have to receive Me Myself in order to come close to Me, because without Me they cannot ascend and therefore I bring Myself close to them in My word so that they will become blissfully happy....

(4.8.1950) No externally perceptible act is necessary in order to let Me be present, for the human being will only ever hear My word if he quietly listens within himself. Thus he will only be fed by Me with nourishment for the soul if he mentally establishes an intimate connection with Me which enables him to hear My word, and this intimate connection requires no external sign, no ceremony and no visible action. An open heart is all I require in order to let the flow of grace of My love flow in, in order to truly feed and water the human being, because his soul needs strengthening and I reward the intimate connection with Me by expressing Myself in the word. My word is the manna which comes from heaven, My word is the pledge of My love, for the only path to Me is love, which is taught to everyone through My word. My word is both a means and an end, for it leads to Me and emanates from Me as strength so that it helps the human being to ascend. The word proves Me Who is without beginning and without end, Who manifestly makes Myself known, thus giving My flesh and blood to all those who want to accept it from Me. And all of you shall feast on My gift of grace, all of you shall hunger and thirst for My address, all of you shall desire to be fed by Me and you will always receive bread and wine; I will always invite you to supper and provide you as My guests with everything you need for body and soul. And your soul will never ever need to go hungry if the spring from which the living water flows has been opened up to it....
