의지를 하나님께 향하게 하는 일이 이 땅의 삶의 시험에 합격하는 일이다.

자유의지로 하나님께 돌아 가기로 결심한 영적인 존재는 이 땅의 삶의 시험에 합격하게 될 것이다. 의지만이 하나님의 힘을 받기 위해 결정적이기 때문이다. 하나님은 모든 방법으로 자신에게 향한 의지를 지원할 것이고, 유혹이 그에게 다가올지라도, 그가 넘어지지 않도록 그를 붙잡고, 그의 의지의 방향을 통해 자신에게 향하는 올바른 길을 택하면 하나님은 그에게 다가간다. 하나님을 향한 의지는 형체로부터의 영적인 존재의 구속의 시작이다. 그러나 인간은 끊임없는 싸움을 통해 끊임없이 성숙해야만 한다. 그러므로 그의 의지는 저항을 통해 항상 또 다시 시험을 받고, 그가 이제 이런 저항을 극복하거나 또는 그의 의지를 변화시킬 것이다.

그러나 사람이 이제 자신을 하나님으로부터 완전히 멀어지게 하는 일이, 자신의 뜻을 다시 하나님으로부터 등을 돌리는 일이 절대로 일어나지 않게 된다. 왜냐면 하나님은 스스로 자발적으로 하나님께 복종하는 존재를, 즉 하나님을 추구하기로 결심한 존재를 더 이상 놓아주지 않기 때문이다. 인간이 실제 때때로 정체의 기간에 머물 수 있고, 일시적으로 세상에 경의를 표할 수 있지만, 그는 항상 또 다시 자신에게 생명을 준 분에게 돌아갈 것이고, 항상 또 다시 영원한 질서 안에 머물려는 갈망이 즉 하나님의 계명을 성취하려는 갈망이 그 안에서 역사할 것이다. 이런 일은 의지를 하나님의 뜻에 종속시키는 일을 의미하고 그러므로 이미 하나님과의 연합으로 끝나는 믿음의 시험에 합격한 것이다.

인간으로 육신을 입기 시작할 때, 혼은 최종적인 성숙을 목적으로 이 땅의 삶을 살 자세가 되어 있음을 선언한다. 그러므로 혼 안의 의지가 처음으로 하나님께 속하려는 의지가 활성화되고, 이 땅의 삶에서 혼이 하나님과 연합이 되게 하는 일을 행하려는 의지가 활성화된다. 그러나 혼은 인간으로서 전적으로 의식하는 가운데 이런 의지를 실행에 옮겨야만 한다. 그러므로 혼이 이 땅의 삶에서 자유롭게 결정을 내리도록 자유를 받는다. 이런 결정은 사람이 자신의 하나님과의 거리를 깨달을 때 내릴 수 있다. 따라서 혼은 자신의 결함이 있는 상태를 깨달아야만 하고 온전하게 되려는 추구를 해야 한다. 그러면 그의 의지도 또한 역사하고, 하나님도 그에게 힘을 주고 절대로 그가 자유의지로 대적자로부터 자유롭게 만든 대적자의 손에 넘어 가지 않게 한다.

그러면 그는 이미 하나님의 뜻 안으로 완전히 들어갔고 또한 사람들도 그렇게 되도록 인도하려는 존재들의 끊임없는 지원을 받는다. (1949년 8월 2일) 그러면 그들은 더 이상 세상의 도전에 맞서 싸우는 일에 혼자가 아니고, 빛의 존재가 사람들에게 생각을 통해 영향을 미치고, 하나님을 향한 의지가 항상 더욱 강해지고 이로써 더 많은 힘의 공급을 받게 된다. 왜냐면 하나님의 계명을 성취시키는 일을 통해 사람이 힘을 주는 존재와 접촉하고 그로부터 끊임없이 힘을 받을 수 있기 때문이다. 그는 이 땅의 삶의 길은 실패하지 않을 것이고 그의 목표인 하나님과의 연합에 도달할 것이다. 왜냐면 그의 뜻이 하나님께 향했기 때문이다.

Turning the will to God passing the earth life test....

The spiritual being which has decided to return to God in free will will also pass the test of earthly life, for the will alone is decisive in order to also receive the strength from God. God will support the will turned towards Him in every way, and even if the temptations approach him, God will hold him so that he will not fall, He will come to meet him as soon as he takes the right path to Him through his direction of will. The will towards God is the beginning of the redemption of the spiritual from form. But the human being must constantly mature through constant struggle, consequently his will is repeatedly put to the test by oppositions which he will either defeat or change his will. But the fact that the human being now completely distances himself from God, that he turns his will away from Him again, will never be the case, because God no longer gives anything which once voluntarily submitted itself to Him, thus was determined to strive towards Him. Periods of standstill can certainly occur, the human being can be indecisive and temporarily pay tribute to the world, yet again and again he will return to the one Who gave him life, again and again the desire will arise in him to move within the eternal order, thus to fulfil the divine commandments, and this is synonymous with the subordination of the will to God's will and thus already a passed test of faith which ends with union with God. At the beginning of its embodiment as a human being the soul declares itself willing to take on earthly life for the purpose of final maturing, thus the will to belong to God and to do in earthly life what earns it union with Him is first awakened in it. But it also has to carry out this will in full consciousness as a human being. And therefore it is, so to speak, freely placed into earthly life so that it can make a decision, and the human being can only make this decision as soon as he becomes aware of his distance from God. Thus he has to recognize his deficient state and strive for perfection, by which he therefore also strives towards God Himself. Then his will will also become active, and then God will also provide him with strength and never ever let him fall back into the hands of the adversary, from whom the human being has voluntarily withdrawn. Then he will constantly find support from those beings which have already completely entered into God's will and also want to move people towards it....

(2.8.1949) Then they will no longer stand alone in the fight against the temptations of this world, then the beings of light will mentally influence the human being, and the will towards God will become ever stronger and therefore the supply of strength will also increase, because by fulfilling God's commandments the human being will be in contact with the giver of strength and will constantly be able to accept strength from Him. And the path of earthly life will not be unsuccessful, the human being will reach his aim.... the unification with God.... because his will is turned towards God....
