사랑을 통해 영이 혼과 하나가 된다.

너희는 나와 연합하는 가운데 최고의 행복을 얻을 수 있다. 너희 안의 영의 불씨는 영원한 아버지의 영과 연합하려고 시도한다. 그러나 혼과 육체가 아직 세상을 향하는 동안에는, 즉 그들이 추구하는 일이 영적인 추구와 반대이면, 혼과 육체가 영과 연합하는 일을 방해한다. 그러면 영은 강제로 역사하지 않고, 혼이 정하게 하고, 뒤로 물러선다는 점에서 혼이 영보다 더 강하게 된다. 그러므로 같은 추구를 하도록 혼을 먼저 얻어야만 한다. 혼은 완전한 자유의지로 영과 영의 갈망과 하나가 돼야만 한다. 그러면 영이 사람 안에서 역사할 수 있고, 그러면 비로소 인간과 나와의 연결이 이뤄지게 된다.

그러나 혼과 영의 결합은 사랑의 역사의 결과이다. 자신의 유익을 구하지 않는 사랑을 행하는 일은 먼저 세상에서 돌이키는 일이다. 즉 자유의지로 어떤 세상에 속한 것을 포기하는 일이고, 또한 이 일은 세상 재물을 나눠주는 일이다. 이런 도움은 다른 종류의 도움을 주는 일이고, 그러면 자기 사랑이 항상 뒤로 물러서게 된다. 이런 일은 세상적인 것을 포기하는 일이고, 혼이 영의 의지에 순복하는 순간이다. 영의 뜻은 혼이 사랑을 행하는 일이고, 혼이 영의 말을 듣는다면, 영은 혼을 자신을 위해 얻은 것이고, 그러면 나와의 연합이 이룰 수 있다. 나는 영의 불씨와 가장 긴밀한 관계를 맺는다. 왜냐면 영의 불씨는 나의 일부분이고, 영원히 나의 일부분으로 머물기 때문이다. 그러므로 지금까지 밖에 거하던 영의 불씨는 사랑을 통해 나에게 다시 돌아온다.

나는 항상 또 다시 사람들이 왜 혼이 위로 성장하게 하는 일에 사랑을 제외시킬 수 없는 지 이해할 수 있게 해주기를 원한다. 나는 항상 또 다시 사람들에게 사랑을 행하는 일이, 혼이 영과 결합하는 일에 어느 정도 영향을 미치고, 따라서 나와의 연합에 어느 정도 영향을 미치는지 이해시켜주기를 원한다. 나는 항상 또 다시 사람들에게 나와의 연합과 영적인 결혼의 의미를 선명하게 해주기를 원하고, 그들이 이 땅에서 이미 나와의 연합이 주는 축복을 받게 해주기를 원한다.

그러나 사람은 너무 세속적이고, 단지 이 땅에서 만질 수 있고, 얻을 수 있는 재물을 가치 있게 생각한다. 그러나 그는 영적 재물을 무시한다. 왜냐면 그가 죽음 후의 혼의 삶을 믿지 않기 때문이고, 단지 이를 믿는 믿음이 의식적으로 영적 재물을 추구하게 하기 때문이다. 그럴지라도 나는 포기하지 않고, 항상 또 다시 말씀 안에서 사람들에게 말하고, 그들에게 항상 또 다시 나와 연합을 추구하라고 알려줄 것이다. 왜냐면 인간의 단계에 있는 영적인 존재는 깨달을 능력이 있고, 그러나 유일하게 그의 의지에 그가 어는 정도까지 깨달을 능력을 활용할지가 달려 있기 때문이다. 나는 이런 의지에 강요하지는 않는다. 그러나 나는 결정하도록 돕는다.

Merging the spirit with the soul through love....

In the fusion with Me you will find the highest happiness. The spiritual spark in you seeks to unite with the eternal father-spirit, but it is prevented from doing so by the soul and the body as long as they are still worldly-minded, that is, their striving contradicts the spiritual striving. Then the soul is stronger than the spirit insofar as the spirit does not have a compelling effect but lets the soul determine and withdraws. Therefore the soul first has to be won for the same striving, it has to join the spirit with its desire in completely free will, only then can the spirit work in the human being, and only then will the human being's connection with Me be established. But the union of the soul with the spirit is the result of the working of love. To perform a work of unselfish neighbourly love is first of all a turning away from the world, i.e. a voluntary renunciation of something belonging to the world, as soon as the work of love is about the distribution of earthly goods. But if it is help of a different kind, then self-love always takes a back seat, and this is an act of worldly renunciation, a moment of the soul's insertion into the will of the spirit, which impels the soul to deeds of love. If the soul gives ear to the spirit then it has won it over for itself, and then the union with Me can also take place, Who is in most intimate contact with the spiritual spark, for it is My share and remains My share for eternity. Thus, something which was previously outside returns to Me again through love.... Again and again I want to make people understand why love can never be excluded from the soul's ascent; again and again I want to explain to them how the working of love influences the soul's union with the spirit and thus with Me, and again and again I want to make clear to them the significance of merging with Me, of the spiritual marriage, and give them the beatitude on earth already which results from this union with Me. But the human being is too earthly minded and only values the tangible goods attainable on earth; but he ignores the spiritual goods because he does not believe in the soul's continuation of life after death and because only this belief makes him consciously strive for spiritual goods. And yet, I will not let up and again and again speak to people in the word and again and again instruct them to strive for unity with Me. For in the stage as a human being the spiritual in him is capable of realization, but his will alone determines to what extent he evaluates the ability of realization. And I don't force this will but help it to decide....
