빛의 나라에 들어가기 위한 전제 조건.

이 땅에서 하나님과 긴밀한 관계 가운데 하나님의 뜻을 삶의 지침으로 삼고, 이런 삶을 통해 모든 순수하지 못한 것으로부터 자신을 깨끗게 하고, 이 땅에서 사랑을 행한 혼이 단지 빛의 나라에 들어간다. 이런 혼에게 낙원의 문이 열리고, 이런 혼의 갈망의 목표는 가장 빛나는 풍성한 빛이다. 이런 혼은 하나님과 하나가 된다. 이런 상태가 되기 위해 하나님을 기쁘게 하는 삶이 필요하고, 하나님께 도달하려는 인간의 전적인 의지가 필요하다. 사람이 이런 의지를 가질 때, 그의 삶은 또한 하나님의 뜻에 합당한 삶이 될 것이다. 왜냐면 하나님께 순복하는 의지는 선하지 않은 일을 하기를 꺼려하고, 그러므로 사람의 혼이 성숙해지기 때문이다.

혼은 영원한 신성을 닮아간다. 이는 하나님 곁에 머물고, 하나님의 사랑의 빛을 받을 자격이 있음을 의미한다. 인간이 이 땅에서 죽을 때, 이런 축복된 상태가 그에게 부여될 수 있다. 혼이 이 땅에서 혼이 영적으로 성장하는 일에 진지했다면, 사람의 삶이 하나님의 계명에 합당했다면, 그가 사랑을 행했다면, 다시 말해 그의 이 땅의 삶이 사랑을 행하는 삶이었다고 할 수 있다면, 혼은 이 땅의 짐을 벗고, 하늘의 영역의 영접을 받을 수 있다.

인간의 사랑의 정도가 또한 저세상의 행복의 정도를 정한다. 왜냐면 그가 자신의 이웃사람에게 베푼 대로, 하나님이 그에게 베풀어 줄 것이기 때문이다. 단지 그의 심장이 사랑을 행할 능력이 있고, 사랑을 베푼 사람이 하나님의 사랑의 빛을 받을 수 있다. 이 땅에서 사랑을 행하지 않으면, 축복을 받지 못한다. 왜냐하면 단지 사랑을 행함으로 자신을 형성하고, 사랑을 행할 능력이 있고, 사랑을 행하여, 하나님의 사랑의 발산을 받을 수 있게 한 혼에게 하나님의 사랑이 충만하게 임하기 때문이다. 사랑의 부족은 또한 축복의 부족이고, 따라서 어두운 상태이다. 왜냐면 축복은 단지 혼이 가장 밝은 빛으로 충만한 데에 있기 때문이다.

이 땅의 사람들은 자신들의 빛이 없는 상태를 더 이상 깨닫지를 못한다. 왜냐면 혼의 성숙도가 너무 낮아, 그들에게 행복의 상태를 의미하는 빛의 상태에 대해 전혀 알지 못하기 때문이다. 그러므로 그들은 의식적으로 이런 상태를 추구하지 않는다. 그들은 잘 살지만, 높은 곳을 향한 갈망이 없다. 그러므로 그들은 빛의 행복을 알지 못하지만, 그러나 어두운 상태에서 실제 행복하게 느낀다. 그러므로 그들은 저세상에서 말할 수 없는 큰 행복을 줄 수 있는 사랑의 힘과 권세에 대해 알지 못한다. 이런 지식 없이는 그들은 그들의 삶을 사랑의 삶으로 바꾸지 않을 것이다. 따라서 그들은 절대로 하나님의 발산을 받기에 합당하게 되지 않을 것이다.

결과적으로 이런 혼들은 빈손이 될 것이고, 그들 안의 사랑의 불씨가 화염이 될 때까지, 영의 어두움속에 밝은 빛을 비쳐질 때까지, 저세상의 영원한 행복에 도달할 수 없게 될 것이다. 밝은 빛이 영의 어두움속을 비칠 때, 혼이 비로소 행복과 영원한 축복을 깨닫게 된다. 이런 축복은 혼의 사랑을 행하려는 의지에 따라 증가한다. 사랑을 행하려는 의지는 저세상에서 위험 가운데 있는 혼들에게 열심히 사랑을 행하는 일로 나타난다.

Preconditions for entering the realm of light....

Only the soul enters the kingdom of light which has made the divine will the guiding principle of its way of life on earth in intimate union with God, which has purified itself of all impurities through this way of life and has worked in love on earth. The gates of paradise have been opened to it, the goal of its longing has become of it in the most radiant fullness of light, it is united with God.... This state requires a way of life that is pleasing to God, it requires the human being's full will to reach God. And as soon as this will moves the human being his life will also be such that it corresponds to divine will, for a will devoted to Him is reluctant to do anything that is not good, and thus the human being matures in his soul.... The soul assimilates itself to the eternal deity, and this signifies the worthiness to dwell close to God and to receive His emanation of love. This blissful state can be bestowed upon a person when he dies on earth. The soul can be raptured from the heaviness of earth and taken up into the heavenly realms if it was serious on earth about the soul's higher development.... if the person's life corresponded to the divine commandments.... if he has practiced love, i.e. if his earthly life can be called a labour of love. The degree of man's love also determines the degree of happiness in the hereafter, for just as he has measured out to his neighbour, so will God measure out to him. Only that person can receive God's emanation of love whose heart is capable of love itself, who has therefore likewise given love. Without loving activity on earth there is no bliss, for God's love only floods the soul which has shaped itself through loving activity in such a way that it can receive God's emanation of love, which presupposes a soul capable of love and active in love. Lack of love is also lack of bliss and therefore a state of darkness, because bliss consists of the soul being flooded by the brightest light. People on earth are no longer aware of their lightless state, for the degree of maturity of their souls is so low that they are unaware of a state of light, which signifies a state of bliss for them, and therefore they do not consciously strive for this state either. They live well but have no desire to ascend. And thus they do not know the benefits of light either, but they do feel comfortable in the state of darkness. And therefore they also do not know about the strength and power of love, which can bring them unspeakably great happiness in the beyond. And without this knowledge they will not transform their life into a life of love and thus never be honoured with God's radiance. Consequently, these souls come away empty-handed and they cannot attain eternal bliss in the beyond until the spark of love has become a flame within them and thus a bright light shines in the darkness of the spirit. Only then does the soul come to know the happiness of eternal bliss, which increases according to the soul's will to love, which is expressed in diligent loving activity towards the needy souls in the beyond....
