하나님과 거리가 먼 상태는 연약한 상태이다.

하나님과 멀어지는 상태는 약한 상태이다. 사람이 자신의 힘을 충분히 소유하고 있다고 믿고, 자신이 좋아하는 대로 역사하고, 일할 수 있다고 믿을지라도, 그러나 그가 이 땅에서 성공하는 일이 하나님의 뜻이라면, 그는 단지 이 땅에서만 성공을 할 수 있게 될 것이다. 그러나 영원을 위해 결정적인 어떤 영적인 성공도 할 수 없게 될 것이다.

이 땅의 삶은 곧 끝이 날 것이고, 이 땅에서 이룬 성공은 지속적인 가치가 없게 된다. 하나님과 멀리 떨어진 사람이 어떤 일을 시작하든, 그는 그 일에 선한 세력의 도움을 받지 못하게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 선한 세력은 물질의 증가를 목표로 시작하는 일에 도움을 주지 않기 때문이다. 그러나 하나님과 멀리 떨어진 상태에서 행해지는 일은 하나님을 대적하는 자들의 힘을 증가시키는 일에 기여한다.

사람이 자신의 뜻을 희생하면, 즉 자신의 뜻을 하나님의 뜻에 종속시키면, 그 안에서 하나님과 더 가까워지려는 욕망이 깨어나고, 이제 그에게 또한 힘이 주어진다. 그의 연약한 상태는 극복이 되고, 그가 저항하지 않고 하나님께 더 많이 헌신할수록, 더 많이 극복을 하게 된다. 그는 이제 원래의 상태에 가까워진다. 즉 존재가 하나님의 능력을 완전히 소유한 상태에 접근한다. 그러나 힘의 공급자인 하나님으로부터 멀어진 존재는 절대로 이런 상태에 도달할 수 없다.

그러므로 하나님이 없이 이 땅의 삶을 사는 일은 인간에게 영적인 성공을 주지 못한다. 왜냐하면 하나님과의 연결을 이뤄, 하나님으로부터 오는 힘을 받기 위해 선한 세력과 연결을 이루거나 또는 하나님의 힘의 공급을 불가능하게 만드는, 의지를 하나님의 대적자에게 돌리는, 단지 두 가지의 가능성이 있기 때문이다.

그러나 하나님을 깨닫지 못하는 사람은 하나님으로부터 멀리 떨어져 있고, 이에 따라 항상 그에게 하나님께 거역하도록 자극하는 대적자에게 더 가까이에 있게 된다. 하나님으로부터 멀리 떨어져 있는 사람이 이런 자극을 따른다. 그러므로 그는 자발적으로 자신을 대적자의 권세에 내어 주고, 어떤 식으로 든 자신을 영적으로 성장시킬 수 없는 연약한 피조물로 머문다. 그는 완전히 약 해진다. 이런 일은 자신의 잘못으로 인한 일이다. 왜냐면 그가 자유로 대적자 대신에 하나님께 향할 수 있었고, 그는 하나님과 반대되는 방식으로 자신의 의지를 사용했기 때문이다. 하나님과 멀리 떨어진 것은 연약함이고, 하나님 가까이 있는 일이 힘과 강함이다. 존재는 자신의 상태를 자유롭게 선택할 수 있다._>아멘

God distance - state of weakness....

The state of remoteness from God is a state of weakness, even if a person believes that he is in full possession of his power and can do with it as he pleases. However, he will only be able to achieve earthly success.... if this is within the divine will.... but not any spiritual success, and only the latter is decisive for eternity.... Earthly life is soon over and earthly success has no lasting value. Whatever a person begins who is distant from God, he will not find the support of the good forces, for they do not give their help to a beginning that is aimed at the increase of matter. But what is done in a state far from God also contributes to increasing the power of the one who opposes God. If the human being sacrifices his will, i.e. if he submits it to God's will, then the desire to come closer to God has awakened in him and now he also has the strength to.... His state of weakness is overcome, and the more he surrenders to God without resistance, the more so. He is now approaching the original state, the state in which the being was in full possession of the strength from God, but which can never be with a being that has distanced itself from God as the source of strength. The earthly change without God can therefore never bring spiritual success to man, because there are only two possibilities, to establish the connection with God and therefore good powers to receive the power, which is from God, or to turn the will towards the opponent of God, which makes the supply of power from God impossible. However, anyone who does not recognize God is far from Him.... and correspondingly closer to the adversary, who will always inspire him to act against God. And the person who is far from God also follows this suggestion.... And he therefore voluntarily gives himself over to his power and remains a weak creature, incapable in every way of developing spiritually.... He is completely weakened, and this through his own fault, since he was free to turn to God instead of the adversary and he uses his will in a God-opposing way. Distance from God is weakness.... closeness to God is strength and vigour.... and the being is free to choose its state....
