삶과 일. 죽음과 일하지 않는 일.

너희가 사랑으로 끊임없이 일하는 것이 삶이다. 왜냐면 이런 삶이 너희의 하나님을 향한 의지를 증거하는 상태이기 때문이다. 하나님 자체가 사랑이다. 하나님 자신이 생명이다. 다시 말해 그는 능력이다. 이 능력이 모든 것이 절대로 한가롭게 누워 있지 않게 하고, 모든 것을 일하도록 자극한다. 그는 힘이고, 이 힘은 동시에 끝없는 활동을 통해 증가한다. 그러므로 의식적으로든 무의식적으로든 하나님과 접촉하는 모든 것은 일해야만 한다. 왜냐면 그들 모두가 일하게 하는 힘을 하나님으로부터 받기 때문이다.

그러나 하나님에게서 나온 힘은 사랑이다. 사랑 안에 거하는 사람은 일해야만 한다. 다시 말해 살아야만 한다. 왜냐면 모든 일하지 않는 상태는 죽음이기 때문이다. 모든 일하지 않는 상태는 하나님을 향한 저항이고, 자신이 하나님의 힘을 받지 못하게 하는 일이다. 그러므로 사랑이 없게 되는 일이다. 이런 상태는 계속하여 정지되어 있는 상태이고, 온전하지 못한 같은 상태에 머무는 상태이다. 이런 상태는 하나님과 멀리 떨어진 상태이다. 따라서 어떤 부정적이고, 하나님과 반대되는 것이다. 이런 상태는 의지가 완전하게 없는 상태이다. 왜냐면 의지는 항상 선한 쪽으로 든, 악한 쪽으로 든, 항상 일할 것이기 때문이다.

존재는 또한 나쁜 방식으로 활동할 수 있다. 그러나 이런 일은 인간 단계에서만 가능한 일이고, 그러므로 비록 단지 순전히 육체적인 삶이고, 그러나 영적인 삶이 아니지만, 존재는 살고 있다. 그가 사랑으로 일하지 않는 동안에는 영이 죽은 것이다. 왜냐하면 일을 하는 일이 비로소 참된 생명이기 때문이다._>아멘

Life - activity.... death – inactivity....

This is life, that you are constantly active in love. For this is the state which testifies to your will towards God. God is love in Himself, He is life in Himself, i.e., He is strength which never lies fallow, which stimulates everything to activity.... He is strength that continues to increase through never-ending activity. Consequently, everything that enters into contact with God, consciously or unconsciously, must likewise be active. For it receives the strength from God which causes it to be active.... but power from God is love, and he who stands in love must be active, therefore live.... For every state of inactivity is death. Every state of inactivity is a resistance against God, a making oneself unreceptive to His strength and therefore lack of love. It is also a standstill, a persistence in the same imperfection, it is a distance from God and therefore something negative, something opposed to the divine.... It is a state of complete lack of will, because the will will always be active, in a good or in an evil way. The being can also be active in a bad way, but only in the stage as a human being, therefore the being is alive even then, although this life is only a purely physical, but not a spiritual life. The spirit is dead as long as it is not active in love, for only this activity is true life....
