이 땅에 거하는 존재의 가장 중요한 과제.

이 땅에 거하는 존재의 첫 번째 과제는 혼을 온전하게 만드는 일이다. 이 과제를 잊을 수 있을 만큼 더 중요한 어떤 과제도 없다. 따라서 이 땅의 모든 시간은 어떻게 온전함에 도달할 수 있는 지에 대한 생각으로 채워져야 한다. 사람은 미지근하거나 게으르지 말아야 하고, 항상 단지 혼을 생각해야 한다. 사람은 항상 이 과제의 중요성을 생각해야 한다. 이로써 그가 모든 시간을 사용하여, 자신을 높은 곳에 도달하게 하기 위해 일해야 한다.

신성은 사람이 이해할 수 없는 것들을 사람에게 아주 자주 알려주어, 그의 생각을 자극해주려고 노력한다. 단지 구세주 주 하나님과 끊임없는 접촉이 성공적으로 이 땅의 자녀가 추구하게 만드는 결과를 가져온다. 그러면 이전에 영의 눈 앞에 산처럼 서있던 일이 이제 그에게 극복할 수 있게 보이고, 극복할 수 없는 일이 아무것도 없게 될 것이다. 사람은 지칠 줄 모르고 추구해야만 한다. 그는 절대로 이미 자신의 목표를 달성했다고 생각해서는 안 된다. 이 땅에서 목표를 도달하기 위해서는 진리를 위한 믿을 수 없는 투쟁과 강하고 확고한 의지와 하나님을 향한 어린아이 같은 사랑이 필요하다. 이 땅의 자녀가 이 모든 것을 추구한다면, 하늘의 아버지는 그가 목표를 달성할 것이라는 보장을 그에게 해준다. 그러므로 사람은 하나님을 사랑하고, 이웃을 사랑할 수 있는 힘을 얻기 위해 끊임없이 기도해야 한다.

Most important task of being on earth....

The first task of earthly existence is and remains the perfection of the soul, and nothing else is so important that this task may be forgotten. And accordingly the whole time on earth must be filled with thoughts how such perfection can be achieved, man must neither become lukewarm nor lazy, and always only the soul is to be thought of, man is always to consider the importance of this his task so that he uses every hour and works his way up. The deity so often points out things to the human being which seem incomprehensible to him and thereby tries to stimulate his thoughts, and only constant contact with the divine lord and saviour will result in the earthly child's successful striving.... Then nothing will seem insurmountable to him that previously stood like a mountain before his spiritual eye. The human being must strive tirelessly, and he must never think that he has already reached his goal.... To achieve this on earth requires an incredible struggle for the truth, a strong, firm will and a childlike love for God.... And if an earthly child strives for all this, he is also guaranteed by the father in heaven that he will reach his goal.... And therefore the human being should pray incessantly for the strength to love God and his neighbour.... and this strength will guide him on all paths....
