악마. 유혹. 물질을 향한 사랑.

악령들은 약한 순간을 숨어 기다리고 있고, 의지가 약한 혼을 붙잡아 무너뜨린다. 사람의 투쟁은 하늘의 아버지께 자신을 의탁할 때까지 헛된 투쟁이다. 그러한 곤경 속에서 주님께 도피하는 사람은 복이 있는 사람이다. 왜냐하면 그가 실제 하나님의 도움이 필요하기 때문이다. 대적자의 세력은 약한 인간의 심장에 믿을 수 없는 권세를 가지고 있고, 약한 사람이 혼자서는 모을 수 없는 강력한 저항이 필요한 수단을 자주 사용한다. 그러나 너희가 하나님의 사랑을 생각한다면, 하나님의 사랑은 이 땅의 자녀를 위해 항상 준비되어 있다.

혼은 계속해서 자신을 다스리려고 한다. 그러나 대적자는 이 땅의 소유물로 유혹한다. 대적자는 상상할 수 있는 모든 방법으로 이 땅의 자녀를 유혹한다. 그럼에도 불구하고 물질을 향한 소원을 남김 없이 극복해야 한다. 물질을 향한 모든 욕망을 없애고, 대신 단지 영적인 소유를 추구해야 한다. 그러나 인간에게 아직 소유를 향한 사랑이 조금이라도 있다면, 몇 번이고 원수의 손에 넘어간다. 왜냐하면 사람이 자신을 더 많이 이 땅의 재물의 노예가 되게 할수록, 대적자의 권세가 더 커지기 때문이다. 그가 한번 어떤 약점으로 사람을 넘어트릴 수 있는지 깨닫는다면, 그는 그런 종류로 유혹하는 일을 줄이지 않을 것이다.

우리는 다시 너를 부르기 원한다: 너희가 시험에 빠지지 않도록 깨어 기도하라. 왜냐하면 원수는 교활하게 하나님을 배반하게 하려고 시도하기 때문이다. 그는 항상 인간의 삶에서 가장 약한 순간을 활용한다. 그러면 혼에게 가장 강한 영향을 미치고, 비록 혼이 유혹을 유혹으로 깨닫지만, 그러나 어느 정도 혼을 두려워하게 하고, 대적하는 세력의 욕망에 따르도록 움직이기 때문이다. 다시 말해 혼이 물질에 대해 전쟁을 선포하는 대신에 다시 물질에 연연해하게 만들기 때문이다.

그러므로 가장 사소한 원인이 영적 퇴보로 이어질 수 있다. 하나님의 도움을 활용하지 않는다면, 순수한 심장이 더러워질 수 있다. 반면에 하나님의 도움을 갈망하는 이 땅의 자녀는, 즉 빛과 은혜 안에 서있는 이 땅의 자녀는 모든 유혹에 대항하는 일에 성공하게 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 대적자의 권세로부터 자신을 구원해달라는 그의 기도가 곧 응답이 될 것이고, 물질이 점점 더 그에게 멀게 느껴지고, 물질을 향한 소원을 완전히 극복할 것이기 때문이다.

Demons.... temptations.... love to matter....

The demons lie in wait for every weak moment and seize the weak-willed soul to bring it down. The human being's struggle is in vain until he commends himself to the father in heaven, and blessed is he who takes refuge in Him in such distress, for he truly needs divine help. The hostile power has unbelievable power over a weak human heart and often uses such means which require fierce resistance, which the human being in his weakness cannot muster on his own. Yet divine love is always ready for the earthly child if only you think of it.... The soul constantly seeks to defeat itself, yet earthly possessions tempt it with all their might and the adversary tempts the earthly child in every conceivable way, and yet the inclination towards matter is to be completely overcome.... all desire for it is to be discarded and only spiritual possession is to be striven for instead, and yet again and again the human being falls into the enemy's hands if even the slightest love of possession makes him strive for it, for then his power is all the greater the more the human being allows himself to become a slave to his earthly possessions. And once he has recognized the weakness that causes man to fall, he will not cease with temptations of this kind. And again we want to call out to you: Watch and pray so that you don't fall into temptation.... Because the enemy tries to bring about the apostasy from God with cunning and he always uses the weakest moments in man’s life for this purpose and then has the strongest influence on the soul, which certainly recognizes the temptation as such in itself and yet a certain timidity drives it to comply with the desire of the enemy's power and thus still clings to matter again instead of declaring war on it. And thus the slightest cause can lead to spiritual decline, and a pure heart can be defiled if God's help is not claimed, but an earthly child desiring God's help and thus living in light and grace will successfully face every challenge, for its request for deliverance from the adversary's power will soon be granted and matter will appear ever more distant to it, and the inclination towards it will be completely overcome....
