잘못된 삶의 방식을 깨닫는 일이 귀환의 동기가 된다. 도우려는 존재들.

한번 자기 삶의 방식을 올바르게 눈앞에 두고, 그가 진지한 의지를 가졌다면, 그에게 은혜로 주어진 이 땅에 육신을 입은 이 땅의 삶을 활용해야 할 방식으로 활용하지 않은 것을 생각한다면, 모든 사람이 무거운 죄의식을 가질 것이다. 이는 아주 짓누르는, 평안을 빼앗는 의식이다. 그러나 이 가운데 지금까지의 삶을 포기하고, 이제부터 혼의 구원을 위해 관심을 두는 계기가 될 수 있다.

다시 말해 이 땅의 삶의 목적과 목표를 진지하게 추구하고, 이제 비로소 자신의 이 땅의 과제를 진지하게 여기는 자세를 가질 수 있다. 사람이 이제 지금까지 하지 않은 일을 뒤늦게 행하려고 시도한다. 이 가운데 그는 자주 영적인 추구를 하는 사람이 모든 방면에서 지원을 받는다는 기쁜 발견을 할 수 있다. 왜냐하면 그의 의지가 역사하고, 이런 역사가 돕기 원하는 영적인 존재가 자주 외부로부터 그에게 다가오는 모든 공격 가운데 함께 하도록 만들기 때문이다.

그는 이제 이런 존재의 도움으로 공격에 저항할 수 있다. 왜냐하면 이런 도와주려는 세력이 없이는 사람이 높은 곳을 향해 추구하는 일이 말할 수 어렵기 때문이다. 삶의 목적은 하늘의 아버지와 하나가 되는 일이다.

하늘의 아버지와 연합하려는 진지한 의지를 가진 사람을 도와줄 의지가 있는 존재들이 즉시로 다가가서, 그의 뜻을 강하게 하고, 실행할 수 있는 능력을 제공한다. 이로써 온전하게 되려는 의지가 비로소 사람 안에서 생명력이 있게 된다면, 그는 퇴보하지 않는다. 왜냐하면 영원한 거룩한 하나님이 자신을 갈망하는 자녀들을 붙잡고, 동시에 온전하게 되려는 삶을 가능하게 하는, 능력에 따라 그의 삶을 영원을 위해 활용하게 하는 역사의 영역 안에 두기 때문이다.

그는 이제부터 더 이상 하나님의 사랑에 저항할 수 없다. 그는 거룩한 하나님을 깨닫고, 그를 굳게 신뢰하고, 그의 뜻에 자신을 드리고, 하나님의 구세주가 전적으로 모두 그 안에 깊이 자리한다. 그가 행하는 모든 일과 생각하는 일은 단지 하늘의 아버지와 하나가 되는 목표를 향해 있다. 그 자신의 심장에 평안이 임한다면, 그는 자신이 높은 곳으로 인도하는 올바른 길을 가고 있음을 깨닫는다.

Recognition of the wrong way of life cause for repentance.... helpful beings....

Every human being is burdened by the awareness of heavy guilt if he once takes a good look at his way of life and considers that his embodiment on earth is granted to him as a grace and that he does not use this grace as he would be able to with an earnest will. This awareness is so extremely depressing and peace-robbing but can also sometimes be the reason to give up the previous life and henceforth to concern oneself with the soul's salvation, i.e. to seriously pursue the aim and purpose of life and only then to adjust oneself such that the earthly task is taken seriously. The human being tries to make up for what has been neglected so far and can often make the pleasant discovery that a spiritually striving human being finds support from every side.... For his will became active, and this causes the spirit beings willing to help to support him in every challenge from outside that he still often encounters, which he can now offer resistance with the help of those beings. For without this helping power the striving upwards is unspeakably difficult for the human being. The purpose of life is the union with the father in heaven. Anyone who has the serious will to bring about this unification will immediately be met by beings willing to help and strengthen his plan and give him the strength to carry it out. And therefore there can be no relapse once the will for perfection has come alive in the human being, for the eternal deity seizes the child, as it were, which longs for Him and places it in the midst of a sphere of activity which enables it to live this perfection and to use its life to the best of its ability for eternity. And from now on the human being will no longer be able to resist divine love, he will recognize the deity, firmly trust It, give himself into Its will and thus be completely permeated by the divine saviour, and all actions and thoughts will only apply to the reunion with the heavenly father, and once peace has entered his heart the human being will recognize that he is walking the right path which leads upwards....
