피조물을 다스리는 일. 강한 의지.

영적인 추구를 하는 사람이 이 땅에서 얻을 수 있는 엄청난 의지력 덕분에 그가 모든 피조물을 복종시킬 수 있다. 이 과정은 오로지 하나님의 능력을 특별하게 사용하는 일로 인해 일어난다. 복종을 시키는 자가 사람이 아니다. 그러나 신의 의지에 종속된 사람의 의지는 하나님의 특별한 능력을 요구하고, 이제 모든 피조물이 사람의 의지에 순종해야만 하는 방식으로 모든 피조물에게 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 피조물은 기꺼이 순복하게 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 피조물은 자체에 의지가 없고, 항상 하나님의 뜻 아래 있고, 그러므로 영원한 신성이 각각의 존재에게 의도한 것 외에는 다른 어떤 것도 각 존재가 요구받지 않기 때문이다.

하나님의 뜻을 너희 자신의 것으로 만드는 일이 모든 지혜와 모든 영적 성공의 열쇠가 될 것이다. 그러므로 인간이 자신의 의지를 포기하자마자, 다시 말해 하나님의 의지를 자신의 의지로 만들자마자, 어떤 존재의 가장 작은 저항도 두려워할 필요가 없다. 왜냐하면 사람 자신이 의지를 인도하는 것이 아니라, 하나님의 돌봄이 어느 정도 모든 생각과 행동을 인도하기 때문이다. 인간은 동시에 잎으로 영원으로부터 받은 자신의 사명대로 살게 된다.

인간은 모든 피조물을 다스리도록 하나님에 의해 정함을 받았다. 사람이 사람을 하나님을 떠나 타락하게 만든 자에 의해 이런 사람의 위치에 문제로 삼게 했고, 의지가 약해졌다. 그러나 사람이 하나님의 뜻에 반하였고, 하나님의 의지를 지닌 피조물들이 인간을 여러 측면에서 다스리게 되었다. 그러므로 인간은 종종 피조물에게 할당된 활동에 의존한다. 다시 말해 사람이 영적 성숙에 이르지 못하여, 의지가 그에게 가능한 강함을 갖지 못한 동안에는, 피조물이 사람들에게 적대적으로 역사한다.

그러므로 사람 자신이 피조물을 완전히 통제할 수 있는 방식으로 자신의 의지를 형성하는 일이 자기의 권리라고 생각한다면, 이 땅의 자신의 삶을 아주 많이 활용할 수 있다. 그가 이런 의지의 힘에 도달할 때, 이 땅의 그의 길은 또한 훨씬 쉬워질 것이다. 왜냐하면 모든 것이 그에게 복종할 것이기 때문이고, 또한 그에게 종속된 존재들을 향한 그의 영적인 영향은 구원에 아주 많이 도움이 되고, 마찬가지로 이 땅의 길을 쉽게 할 것이기 때문이다. 왜냐하면 단지 의지가 모든 것을 지배할 것이고, 다른 흐름이 이 종속된 존재들에게 불리하게 영향을 미치지 않기 때문이다. 그러므로 인간의 모든 노력은 단지 영원한 거룩한 신성의 뜻을 깨닫고, 그의 뜻에 전적으로 모두 복종하는 하나의 목표를 향해야만 한다. 이 땅의 모든 투쟁은 쉽게 될 것이고, 그러나 성공하게 될 것이다.

Control of the creature.... strong will....

By virtue of the immense willpower which a spiritually striving human being can acquire on earth it is possible for him to subjugate all creatures, and this process is solely based on an extraordinary use of divine strength.... It is not the human being as such who causes the subjugation but the human being's will, which is subordinated to divine will, requests extraordinary strength from God and is now able to influence all creatures such that they have to obey his will. And it will willingly submit, for it has no will of its own but is constantly in God's will, so that therefore nothing else is demanded of the respective being than what is intended for it by the eternal deity.... To make God's will one's own is truly the key to all wisdom and spiritual success.... fear the slightest resistance from any entity as soon as he gives up his will, i.e. for now the human being no longer directs his will himself, but divine care has, so to speak, taken all thought and action into its hands and the human being now lives, as it were, in accordance with his destiny from eternity.... And man was appointed by God as ruler over all creatures.... and he allowed this rank to be contested by him who caused man’s apostasy from God.... The will became weak, yet it rebelled against the divine will and thereby also succumbed in many respects to the creature, which, as the bearer of the divine will, for its part dominates man and so he is often dependent on the activity assigned to the creature.... i.e. it sometimes has a hostile effect on the human being as long as he has not reached spiritual maturity and thus does not possess the will in the strength possible for him.... Consequently, the human being still has to make great use of his life on earth if he considers that it is his right to shape his will such that complete control of the creature is possible for him. And if he achieves this strength of will his path on earth will also be much easier, for then everything will be subject to him, and his spiritual influence on the beings subordinate to him will also be extremely beneficial and likewise make the beings' path on earth easier, since only one will controls everything and no different currents will influence these beings unfavourably. And thus, once again, the human being's every endeavour will only have to be directed towards the one aim of recognizing the will of the eternal deity and fully subordinating himself to Him, and all struggles on earth will be easy but successful....
