세상에서 일어나는 사건. 시대의 현상. 영의 나태.

저세상의 존재들이 너에게 변치 않는 힘을 준다. 오늘 너에게 중요한 계시를 전한다: 하늘의 아버지는 특정 시간 간격으로 이 땅의 사건을 항상 새로운 길로 인도한다. 이전에 있었던 모든 것을 뒤집는 사건이 발생한다. 모든 종류의 발명은 다른 삶의 방식을 가져온다. 사람들은 다른 목표를 추구한다. 그에 따라 인간의 사고방식이 어떤 방식으로 변한다. 과학은 항상 새로운 영역을 연구해야만 한다. 이로써 사람의 사고에 영향을 미쳐야 하는 수많은 변화가 일어난다. 이런 일이 일어나는 지혜로운 이유가 있다. 습관이 된 일상적인 삶은 아주 빠르게 혼이 하는 일을 지치게 할 것이고, 혼이 심각한 위험에 처하게 되는 영이 미지근하게 되는 일이 나타날 것이다.

세상에서 일어나는 모든 일이 영을 활동적으로 유지하고, 결코 아무 일도 하지 않게 만들지 않는다. 사람은 솟구치는 파도처럼 밀려드는 사건에 대항하여 모든 저항력으로 무장할 것이다. 그는 이 땅의 안녕을 위해 싸워야만 하게 될 것이다. 그런 일이 그가 지칠 줄 모르게 하는 일을 유지할 수 있게 한다. 다른 한편으로 단지 일하는 사람이 동시에 영적인 일을 할 수 있다. 왜냐하면 이 땅의 활동이 좋지 않은 상태를 줄이는 일을 목표로 하자마자, 다시 말해 그가 이웃을 향한 사랑으로 이웃의 안녕을 위해 일을 시작하자마자, 하나님의 힘이 그 안에 거하기 때문이다. 혼이 위험 속에 있는 때에 주님은 모든 수단을 쓴다. 하늘의 아버지가 자신에게 조언과 도움을 구하는 사람의 기도를 듣지 않을까 봐 두려워할 필요가 없다. 아버지는 깊은 내면의 믿음과 의심하지 않는 믿음을 요구한다.

사람이 그 시대의 현상에 걸려 넘어지지 않고, 오히려 경건하게 믿음으로 그에게 주어진 임무를 언제든지 수행하고, 일어나는 모든 일에서 영적인 면에서 가장 큰 유익을 얻고, 세상을 단지 목적을 위한 수단이고, 단지 순수한 영적인 자세가 이 땅의 자녀가 혼란에 빠지지 않도록 보호한다는 것을 항상 기억하는 사람은 축복을 받을 것이다. 왜냐하면 혼의 필요에 따라 그의 활동 분야가 그에게 할당되기 때문이다. 그러므로 모든 일어나는 사건에 끊임없는 변화가 일어나야만 한다. 이로써 이 땅의 자녀가 자신과 자신의 혼에 대해 작업을 하는 일에 지치지 않고, 일상생활에서 모든 영적인 자극을 받아야 한다. 이로써 영의 게으름에 빠지지 않고, 부지런하고 끈기가 있게 돼야 하고, 영원한 신성이 이 땅과 그 주민들을 위한 지혜로운 선견지명으로 그의 혼에 최선이 되도록 보낸 모든 일에 온전히 순복해야 한다. 왜냐하면 아무리 사소한 일도 아무런 목적이 없이 일어나지 않기 때문이다. 단지 사람이 그의 세상의 관점으로 거의 또는 전혀 이를 깨닫지 못한다.

Earthly events.... temporal phenomena.... inertia of the spirit....

With unchanging strength the beings in the beyond consider you, and thus they impart an announcement of importance to you today: At certain intervals of time the father in heaven directs events on earth into ever new directions.... events occur which overturn everything that had gone before.... inventions of all kinds cause other ways of life.... people pursue other aims and thus the human being's train of thought is changed in a certain way.... science always has new areas to research and thus innumerable changes come about which are precisely intended to influence people's thinking. There is a wise reason for this. In the usual regularity of life, mental activity would very soon tire and such lukewarmness of spirit would set in that the soul would be in grave danger....

Everything that happens in the world keeps the spirit active and never lets it fall into inactivity. The human being will arm himself with all his power of resistance when the events storm him like surging waves. He will have to fight for his earthly well-being and that will keep him tirelessly active. And again, only an active person can also be spiritually active at the same time, for divine strength will be inherent in him as soon as his earthly activity is aimed at reducing any deficiencies and he thus takes upon himself the work for his neighbour's well-being out of love for him. In times of spiritual hardship the lord resorts to all means, and it is not to be feared that the father in heaven will let the prayer of a person demanding advice and help from Him go unheard. The father demands profound inner faith and an undoubted belief.... He will then also bless those who do not take offence at the phenomena of the time, but rather devoutly and faithfully fulfil their assigned task at all times, draw the greatest spiritual benefit from all events and always remember that the world is only a means to an end and that only a pure spiritual attitude protects the earthly child from sinking into chaos, for its field of activity is assigned to it according to the soul's need, and thus a constant change of all events has to occur so that the earthly child will not tire of working on itself and its soul and find all spiritual stimulation in daily life, so that it will not fall into spiritual sluggishness but be industrious and striving, so that it shall bear everything with surrender which the eternal deity has wisely imposed on earth and also its inhabitants for the best of their souls. For no event, no matter how small, is without purpose, it is only little or not at all recognized by the human being in his earthly condition....
