L’adempimento del dovere non è sufficiente

Non dovete credere di essere giustificati dinanzi a Me, se adempite la vostra vita terrena soltanto con dei doveri terreni, i quali vi sforzate, è vero, d’eseguire coscienziosamente, il cui adempimento però non procura nessuna benedizione alla vostra anima, perché tutto ciò che fate in modo terreno, ha per motivazione un certo amor proprio, quando viene fatto liberamente, oppure vi vengono anche poste delle pretese, i quali eseguite di nuovo per motivi egoistici, se non ne siete costretti. Tutti questi “adempimenti di doveri” non devono essere scambiati con il vero amore disinteressato per il prossimo, che non vuole nulla per sé stesso, ma vorrebbe sempre soltanto aiutare per rendere felice. L’adempimento del dovere è un certo istinto di conservazione, non importa, se l’uomo stesso ne trae l’utilità oppure i suoi parenti prossimi. Sarà sempre comunque soltanto un utile terreno, l’anima ne profitterà poco o nulla, a meno che anche delle opere d’obbligo vengano eseguite nell’amore altruistico, che l’uomo ha da adempiere quindi certi obblighi professionali, che esegue nell’amore disinteressato. Gli uomini possono cadere facilmente in un genere di autocompiacimento, quando credono di aver adempiuto fedelmente il loro dovere; ma nel loro sviluppo spirituale non procedono d’un solo passo, non vogliono quasi mai sapere nulla, che lo scopo della loro vita terrena è un altro, che soltanto crearsi una vita terrena regolata, benché nell’esteriore il modo di vivere dell’uomo sembra essere in ordine. Se soltanto vorreste riflettere una volta che già con il giorno successivo potreste essere privati di tutti i vostri doveri, ma che poi verrete valutati secondo la vostra maturità animica, non come vi siete formati la vostra vita terrena. Se vorreste riflettere, che ogni adempimento del dovere può essere prestato anche da altri uomini, ma che il lavoro sull’anima deve compiere ogni uomo per sé stesso e questo durante il tempo della sua vita terrena. Non può essere sospeso da questo lavoro. Quindi oltre all’adempimento del dovere deve esercitarsi nell’attività d’amore disinteressato, deve fare liberamente da sé di più ed a questo deve sempre spingerlo l’amore, solo allora utilizza bene la sua vita terrena, allora corrisponde alla Mia Volontà, trasforma sé stesso, cioè il suo essere, di nuovo nel suo essere primordiale. Lui non è quindi per niente un buono a nulla in questo mondo, perché la sua anima progredirà nel suo sviluppo. Solo allora utilizza bene la sua forza vitale, che è a sua disposizione durante la vita terrena, che però deve deporre nel momento della morte e passare nel Regno dell’aldilà totalmente senza forza, se non si è conquistato prima la Forza spirituale appunto attraverso un’agire nell’amore sulla Terra. Finché è ancora in possesso della forza vitale, non la stima in modo giusto, ma dover entrare nel Regno dell’aldilà in uno stato totalmente morto si renderà conto soltanto allora che cosa si è giocato e quanto misero è ora in confronto alla vita terrena, dove poteva creare ed agire con la sua forza vitale. Perciò deve prevalentemente impiegare la sua forza vitale per agire nell’amore, perché solo così si può aumentare la sua forza e può conquistarsi dei beni imperituri, mentre tutti i beni terreni sono perituri e l’uomo stesso non può nemmeno stabilire la durata di tempo in cui poter gioirne. Già nel giorno successivo gli può essere tolto tutto, ma tali pensieri e preoccupazione non se le deve mai porre l’uomo, che sfrutta la sua forza vitale per agire nell’amore. Lui può dare via la sua vita terrena ogni giorno, potrà comunque cominciare la vera Vita nel Regno spirituale riccamente benedetto e pieno di Forza, non avrà perduto niente, ma otterrà solamente un alto guadagno. Perciò un uomo non si deve mai vantare dell’adempimento del suo dovere, perché può anche essere una dimostrazione di un amore orientato male, può guidare l’uomo anche nel falso pensare, in modo che sia soddisfatto di sé stesso e non ritiene più necessario fare altro. Io pretendo $$di$$ $$più$$ da voi, se volete una volta entrare nella Vita, che non potete più perdere. Dovete cambiarvi irrevocabilmente nell’amore, e perciò la vostra vita sulla Terra deve comunicare un agire d’amore disinteressato, solo allora camminate nella Mia Volontà, soltanto allora vi conquistate dei beni che sono imperituri.

Fulfilment of duty is not enough....

You should not believe that you are justified before Me if you only fill your earthly life with earthly duties which you conscientiously endeavour to comply with but the fulfilment of which does not bring any blessing to your soul. For everything you do earthly is based on a certain self-love if it is done voluntarily.... or demands are placed on you which you comply with again for selfish reasons if you are not forced to do so.... All these 'fulfilments of duty' must not be confused with right, unselfish neighbourly love, which wants nothing for itself but always wants to help and make happy. Fulfilment of duty is a certain instinct of self-preservation, regardless of whether the person himself or his next of kin derive the benefit from it. But it will only ever be an earthly benefit, the soul will gain little or nothing from it.... unless works of duty are also carried out with unselfish love, that the human being thus certainly has to fulfil certain duties professionally which he fulfils with unselfish love. People can easily fall into a kind of complacency if they believe they have faithfully fulfilled their duties; but they don't make any progress in their spiritual development, nor do they usually want to know that their purpose of earthly life is different from merely creating an orderly earthly life for themselves.... even though the human being's way of life appears to be in order outwardly. If only you would consider that you can be free of all your duties as early as the next day, but that you will then be judged according to your maturity of soul.... not according to how you have shaped your earthly life. If you want to consider that every fulfilment of duty can also be done by other people, but that every person has to do the work on his soul for himself during his earthly lifetime.... He cannot be released from this work. Therefore, in addition to fulfilling his duty he must practice unselfish activity of love, he must freely do more out of himself, and love must always impel him to do so, only then will he make proper use of earthly life, then it will correspond to My will, he will change himself again, i.e. his nature, into his original nature. Thus he is by no means a dud in this world, for his soul will progress in its development. Only then will he make proper use of the vitality which is at his disposal during his earthly life but which he has to relinquish at the moment of death and he will pass over into the kingdom of the beyond completely without strength, if he has not previously acquired spiritual strength precisely through an activity of love on earth. As long as he is still in possession of vitality he does not really appreciate it, but having to enter the kingdom of the beyond in a completely dead state will only make him realize what he has forfeited and how miserable he now is compared to earthly life, where he could create and work with his vitality. And therefore he should predominantly use his vitality to work with love, because this is the only way to increase his strength and acquire imperishable possessions.... whereas all earthly possessions are transient and the human being himself cannot even determine the length of time he is allowed to enjoy them. The very next day can take everything away from him.... yet the human being who uses his vitality to work with love never needs to worry about such thoughts and worries.... He can surrender his earthly life every day, he will nevertheless start the actual life in the spiritual kingdom richly blessed and full of strength, he will not have lost anything but only achieve a high gain.... For this reason no human being should ever boast about his fulfilment of duty, for it can also be evidence of wrongly directed love, it can also lead the human being into wrong thinking so that he is satisfied with himself and no longer deems it necessary to do anything more. I demand more of you if you once want to enter into a life you can no longer lose.... You must irrevocably change yourselves into love, and therefore your life on earth must demonstrate an unselfish activity of love, only then will you live in My will, and only then will you acquire everlasting possessions....
