Il mondo terreno è il regno dell’avversario

Dato che il mondo terreno è il regno del Mio avversario, in questo ha anche un certo diritto che non gli viene diminuito da Me, che però voi uomini stessi potete contrastare non piegandovi alla sua volontà. Lui cerca di agire sulla volontà appunto tramite il mondo, attraverso tutto ciò che è legato alla materia. Lui cerca di rafforzare in voi la brama per la materia, attraverso la materia agisce su di voi, mentre ve la mette davanti agli occhi in modo affascinante, affinché voi cerchiate di possederla. Io non gli impedisco il suo fare e la sua intenzione, perché ha ancora un diritto su di voi, che lo avete seguito volontariamente una volta nell’abisso. Ma voi potete resistergli, potete resistere a tutte le tentazioni, quando intendete seriamente di liberarvi da lui e di percorrere con successo il vostro cammino terreno. Perché non può costringere la vostra volontà, voi stessi potete decidervi in tutta la libertà, e dovete sfruttare questa libertà, dovete riconoscere il mondo come il suo regno e cercare di sfuggirgli. A questo Io vi aiuterò sempre quando ne avete la seria volontà. Non potete mai liberarvi dalla responsabilità verso la vostra anima, perché voi soli dovete decidere, se il Mio avversario mantiene il potere su di voi oppure se vi liberate da questo potere. Egli non può costringervi, ed Io Stesso non impiego nessuna costrizione, né verso di voi né verso di lui. Ma nella stessa misura in cui egli prova le sue arti di seduzione su di voi, Sono pronto anch’Io di provvedervi con dei Doni di Grazia, in modo che vi è ben possibile resistergli. E se ora l’attuale stato spirituale degli uomini è così basso, quando il loro pensare è rivolto soltanto al materiale e tutto il loro pensare e tendere è soltanto per il raggiungimento di beni terreni, questo è da attribuire soltanto agli uomini, perché eseguono volontariamente i desideri del Mio avversario, anche se potessero resistergli. E’ sempre di nuovo la libertà della volontà che determina lo stato spirituale di ogni singolo uomo, che non gli viene nemmeno tolta, finché dimora come uomo su questa Terra. Ma lui può arrivare di nuovo al punto che gli viene di nuovo legata la libertà appunto tramite la sua libera volontà, tramite l’abuso della sua volontà, che venga di nuovo trasferito nello stato di totale non-libertà che è oltremodo tormentoso, che egli stesso diventa materia, a cui ha teso durante il suo cammino terreno. Allora l’avversario ha ben riportato la vittoria, mentre ha impedito il ritorno a Me, ma lo ha soltanto rimandato, e lo spirituale che ha creduto di conquistare per sé mediante la sua influenza, viene nuovamente sottratto al suo potere ed alla sua influenza. E questo significa anche l’indebolimento di sé stesso di nuovo per un tempo infinitamente lungo. Il Mio Regno non è di questo mondo. Queste Parole dovrebbero significare chiaramente per voi uomini, che cosa avete da pensare del mondo terreno, se in genere siete interessati di prendere una volta possesso del Mio Regno. Ma proprio gli uomini mondani, i materialisti, si accontentano del possesso di questo mondo, non tendono a nessun Regno spirituale, perché sono già totalmente in balia del padrone di questo mondo, benché non lasciano valere nemmeno lui come un essere da cui vengono influenzati, perché lui li colpisce con totale cecità, li ostacola nel riconoscere una Luce per quanto debole, lui accende loro delle luci d’abbaglio, che rendono impossibile vedere una giusta Luce. Ed Io non impedisco il suo agire, dato che si tratta della decisione nella libera volontà che l’uomo deve svolgere sulla Terra. I Miei Mezzi d’Aiuto potrebbero però contribuire ad un cambiamento della volontà, perché consistono prevalentemente nel fatto di portare davanti agli occhi degli uomini la periturità della materia, togliendo loro sempre di nuovo il loro possesso, per indurli ad un tendere verso beni imperituri, per cui nel tempo della fine capiteranno sempre di nuovo degli avvenimenti, i quali indicano agli uomini chiarissimamente l’inutilità di ciò che offre il mondo. Io non tralascio nulla con cui agli uomini può ancora essere prestato l’Aiuto, Io faccio di tutto per salvarli dalla sorte di una nuova relegazione, il cui significato gli uomini non conoscono e non lo credono nemmeno, quando viene dato loro questo sapere. E perciò succederanno ancora molte cose prima che sia arrivato l’ultimo giorno, che decide anche irrevocabilmente il destino di tutti gli uomini.

The earthly world is the realm of the adversary....

Since the earthly world is My adversary's kingdom he also has a certain right in it which will not be curtailed by Me but which you humans yourselves can dispute if you don't bow to his will. For he seeks to influence your will precisely through the world, through everything that is connected with matter.... He seeks to increase your greed for matter, he influences you through matter by presenting it to you so enticingly that you strive to possess it.... I do not deny him his action and his intention because he still has a right to you who once voluntarily followed him to the abyss.... But you can resist him, you can resist all temptations if you are serious about becoming free from him and successfully completing your earthly path.... For he cannot force your will, you can decide for yourselves in utmost freedom, and you should use this freedom correctly, you should recognize the world as his kingdom and seek to escape from him. For I will always help you to do so if it is your earnest will.... And thus you can never release yourselves from the responsibility towards your soul, because you alone decide whether My adversary retains power over you or you become free from this power. He cannot force you, and I likewise do not use coercion, neither towards you nor towards him.... But to the same extent as he tries his arts of seduction on you I am also willing to provide you with gifts of grace, so that it is therefore certainly possible for you to resist him. And if people's current spiritual state is so low, if their thinking is only materially oriented and all their thoughts and aspirations are only directed towards the attainment of earthly goods, then this is solely attributable to people because they voluntarily comply with My adversary's wishes although they could nevertheless resist him.... Again and again it is freedom of will which determines every person's spiritual state, but which is not taken away from him as long as he stays on this earth as a human being. But through his freedom of will, through the misuse of his will, he can get so far that his will is bound again, that he is placed into the state of complete bondage again, which is exceedingly agonizing.... that he himself becomes matter, which he aspired to during his earthly change. Then the adversary will certainly have won the victory by preventing the return to Me, but he will only have delayed it, and the spiritual substance, which he believed to gain for himself through his influence, will again be withdrawn from his power and influence. And that also means weakening of himself again for an infinitely long time. My kingdom is not of this world.... These words should tell you humans most clearly what to think of the earthly world.... if you are at all interested in taking possession of My kingdom one day. But precisely the worldly people, the materialists, are satisfied with the possession of this world, they don't strive for a spiritual kingdom, for they are already completely under the spell of the lord of this world, even though they don't accept him as a being by whom they are influenced. For he strikes them with complete blindness, he prevents them from even the faintest light of realization, he lights blind lights for them which make it impossible to see a true light.... And I will not stop his activity, after all, it concerns the free decision of will which the human being is supposed to make on earth.... My means of help, however, could contribute towards a change of will, for they mainly consist of making people aware of the transience of matter, of repeatedly depriving them of their possessions in order to induce them to strive for imperishable possessions.... which is why again and again events will occur in the last days which will very clearly point people to the worthlessness of what the world offers. For I will not refrain from anything that can still help people, I will do everything to save them from the fate of a new banishment, the significance of which people don't know and also don't believe when the knowledge is conveyed to them. And therefore much will still happen before the last day comes, which will then also irrevocably decide the fate of all people....
