La povertà non impedisce l’agire d’amore

Anche il più povero può conquistarsi il Regno del Cielo. Perché per ogni uomo è possibile adempiere la Mia Volontà. La Mia Volontà è l’agire nell’amore disinteressato. E per quanto sia povero l’uomo in beni terreni, esso può esercitare l’amore al prossimo, perché non consiste solo nel dare dei beni materiali. Anche l’uomo più povero può far divampare in sé la fiamma dell’amore, proprio nella sua povertà può misurare la situazione del prossimo che è in miseria e già la seria volontà di aiutare è amore che spinge all’attività. L’amore non viene misurato secondo il valore materiale di ciò che viene donato, è determinante ilo grado dell’amore ed allora persino il più piccolo dono può essere valutato smisuratamente alto. Un cuore colmo d’amore può però comunicarsi anche in altro modo al suo prossimo, sempre per la sua Benedizione, perché viene risvegliato l’amore corrisposto. Ogni buona parola, ogni partecipazione al destino del prossimo, ogni sguardo amorevole oppure una fattiva prestazione d’aiuto può colpire un cuore indurito e portarlo a sciogliersi. Il prossimo può esserne toccato di più di quanto possa accadere attraverso l’aiuto materiale, perché proprio la povertà del donante convince l’altro del reale amore, che ora trova anche rispondenza e che un raggio d’amore ha acceso. E se ora un uomo vivendo in povertà dà anche pure il poco che possiede, allora si conquisterà ricci Tesori per l’Eternità. Ma sarà aiutato anche in modo terreno, ed anche dalla sua povertà sperimenterà la più grande Benedizione, perché in lui muore il desiderio per beni materiali, più vuole aiutare il prossimo, e quindi impara molto più rapidamente a vincere la materia, che lo impari un uomo in mezzo al possesso terreno. L’amore del cuore non dipende dalla grandezza del possesso terreno. L’amore è un sentimento nel cuore dell’uomo, che spinge sempre all’attività e troverà anche sempre un modo per attivarsi. Già per il fatto che l’uomo si prende cura del suo prossimo, che non passa oltre a costui senza partecipazione, che gli fa notare i pericoli oppure lo aiuta a prendere la retta via. L’uomo può manifestare il suo amore in ogni modo e questo viene sentito con gratitudine e risveglia l’amore corrisposto. Perciò nessun uomo potrà dire di essere stato impedito nell’agire d’amore a causa della povertà. L’amore non ha a che fare per nulla con il possesso materiale, perché anche l’uomo più povero può pregare dal cuore colmo d’amore, che Io Mi voglia prendere Cura del prossimo infelice e lo aiuti, perché lui stesso non lo può fare. Una tale preghiera però richiede dapprima l’amore nel cuore dell’uomo, e solo allora sarà efficace. Perché Io vedo la buona volontà di costui e per via del suo amore Sono volentieri disposto ad aiutare. L’amore disinteressato per il prossimo potrebbe lenire così tanta miseria; ma questo manca all’umanità ed ognuno pensa solo a sé e passa oltre alla miseria del prossimo. Si conquisteranno grandi Tesori coloro che soppesano la loro povertà terrena e che possono portare con sé come Beni imperituri nel Regno dell’aldilà. Di là saranno ricchi, perché sulla Terra hanno anche pensato ai poveri, benché loro stessi non abbiano vissuto nel superfluo.

Poverty does not prevent activity of love....

Even the poorest of the poor can acquire the kingdom of heaven.... For it is possible for every human being to fulfil My will.... My will is unselfish activity of love.... And no matter how poor the person is in respect of earthly goods, he can still practise neighbourly love because it does not merely consists of giving material goods. Even the most underprivileged person can ignite the flame of love within himself, precisely because of his poverty he is able to assess the situation of a fellow human being's hardship, and the sincere will to help alone is love which strives to become active. Love is not measured by the material value of what it gives, it is the degree of love which is decisive, and then even the smallest gift can be extremely highly valued.... But a heart full of love can also communicate itself to people in other ways and always for their benefit, because it awakens mutual love.... Every kind word, every interest in his fellow human being's fate, every kind glance or active help can penetrate a hardened heart and soften it.... The other person can be more touched by it than material help can achieve since precisely the giver's poverty convinces him of his genuine love which then will also be reciprocated, and a ray of love has ignited.... And if a person living in poverty still passes on even the little he owns then he will acquire substantial treasures for eternity.... But he will also receive material help, and his poverty will also provide him with the greatest blessing, because his longing for material possessions will die down the more helpful he is towards his fellow human being, and thus he will much sooner learn to overcome matter than a person who lives in the midst of earthly wealth.

Heartfelt love does not depend on the quantity of earthly possessions. Love is a feeling within a person's heart which constantly wants to be active and will also always find some kind of occupation. If only in the fact that a person will take care of his fellow human being, that he will not indifferently pass him by, that he will make him aware of dangers or help him find the right path.... The human being is able to express his love in every way and his love will always be felt with gratitude and awaken love in return.... Therefore no person will be able to say that he was prevented from loving activity as a result of poverty.... Love has nothing whatsoever to do with material wealth, for even the most underprivileged person can implore Me from the bottom of his loving heart to take care of and help his unhappy neighbour because he himself is incapable of doing so.... But a prayer like that first requires love in the person's heart, and only then will it be effective.... For I will see his good will and for the sake of his love I Am gladly willing to help.... Unselfish love could relieve so much hardship; yet it is lacking in humanity and everyone just thinks of himself and ignores his fellow human being's adversity.... People who offset their earthly poverty will acquire great treasures which they will be allowed to take along into the kingdom of the beyond as everlasting possessions.... They will be wealthy over there because they also considered the poor even though they did not live in abundance themselves....
