L’immortalità dell’anima

Ricordatevi che cosa sarà della vostra anima dopo la morte del corpo; cercate di immaginarvi che non esiste una fine per ciò che in voi pensa, sente e vuole, e che l’anima non può morire. Immaginatevelo se non riuscite ancora crederlo fermamente. Allora vi assalirà un disagio, perché l’anima sente che non l’attende una bella sorte, perché una fede in una continuazione della vita avrebbe anche prodotto un differente cammino di vita, un cambio nell’amore, come però anche un cambio nell’amore le avrebbe procurato la fede. Ogni uomo sa che deve morire secondo il corpo, ma una continuazione di vita non può essere insegnato come sapere consolidato. Ciononostante nell’uomo può diventare convinzione anche senza dimostrazione. Ed ora questa convinzione determina il suo pensare, volere ed agire. Allora l’uomo vive coscientemente il suo compito, di svilupparsi sulla Terra verso l’Alto e di preparare il suo grado di maturità rispetto alla sorte dell’anima nell’aldilà. Allora pensa alla vita dell’anima dopo la morte ed è anche sempre disposto, a scambiare la vita terrena con la vita nel Regno dell’aldilà perché sa, che non esiste la morte eterna, soltanto un cambiamento del luogo di soggiorno per l’anima. Ogni uomo che è di buona volontà sente anche, che non vive per questa Terra, e la sua fede diventa sempre più intensa e più convinta. Perché chi è di buona volontà, non resiste alle indicazioni, che gli vengono sempre di nuovo offerte tramite l’Amore di Dio e stimolano il suo pensare. Chi è di buona volontà cura anche l’amore, e quindi viene fortificato nella sua fede e chiede Luce, che gli verrà anche accesa. Ogni uomo può credere nella continuazione della vita dell’anima se lo vuole, se muove in sé dei pensieri in questo senso desiderando la Verità e se desidera chiarimento. Ma la volontà che rinnega una continuazione di vita sarà sempre impedito nella fede, perché allora le forze dell’oscurità dominano poi già l’uomo, che odiano ogni Luce. Non passate incuranti sui vostri pensieri, quando vi ammoniscono sulla vita dell’anima dopo la morte. Cercate di sondare, ma non rigettate tutti i pensieri, quando vi sfiorano. Perché senza la volontà per la Verità non potete raggiungerla, senza desiderarla non potete essere istruiti. Esiste una vita dopo la morte, e voi stessi vi formate questa vita sulla Terra. Voi stessi create all’anima la sorte nell’Eternità e dovete perciò provvedere, che non cada nella morte spirituale, che è tormentosa, ma non significa mai una non-esistenza. Perché l’anima è la realtà nell’uomo e rimane esistente anche quando il corpo passa. Riflettete su questo, affinché giungiate alla fede, affinché conquistiate la convinzione interiore, che il corpo può bensì morire, ma l’anima è imperitura.

Immortality of the soul....

Think about what will happen to your soul after the death of the body; try to imagine that there is no end to what you think, feel and want and that the soul cannot die. Imagine it if you cannot yet firmly believe it. Then you will feel uneasy because the soul will feel that no beautiful fate awaits it, because the belief in a continuation of life would also have resulted in a different way of life, a change in love, but just as a change in love would also have earned it faith. Every person knows that he has to die after the body, yet the soul's continued life cannot be taught as definite knowledge. Nevertheless, it can become a conviction in the human being even without proof. And this conviction now determines his thinking, willing and acting. Then the human being lives consciously.... conscious of his task to develop upwards on earth and to prepare the soul's fate in the beyond according to his degree of maturity.... Then he thinks of the soul's life after death and is also always willing to exchange earthly life with life in the spiritual kingdom, because he knows that there is no eternal death, only a change of abode for the soul. Every person of good will also feels that he does not only live for this earth, and his faith becomes ever deeper and more convinced. For anyone of good will does not resist the indications which are repeatedly offered to him through God's love and stimulate his thinking. Anyone of good will also cultivates love, and thus he is strengthened in his faith and longs for light which is also kindled in him. Every person can believe in the soul's continuation of life if he wants to, if he desires the truth, if he thinks about it and desires clarification.... However, the denial of the will to live on will always be an obstacle to faith, because then the human being will already be dominated by the forces of darkness which hate all light. Do not carelessly pass over your thoughts if they remind you of the life of the soul after death.... Seek to fathom but do not reject all thoughts if they touch you. For without the will for truth you cannot attain it, without the desire for it you cannot be taught. There is life after death and you shape this life for yourselves on earth, you yourselves create the soul's fate in eternity and should ensure that it does not fall prey to spiritual death, which is agonizing but never signifies non-existence. For the soul is the real thing in the human being and continues to exist even if the body passes away.... Think about it so that you will come to believe, so that you will gain the inner conviction that the body can indeed die but the soul is everlasting....
