La fede, merito dell’atto della libera volontà, nessun regalo - L’indagare dell’intelletto

Alla più profonda oscurità deve far posto la Luce chiara, quando l’anima ne ha il desiderio, sia sulla Terra come nel Regno spirituale, perché è determinante il desiderio come l’anima viene provveduta. E così anche l’uomo stesso sulla Terra si procurerà il grado di Luce che corrisponde al suo desiderio. Potrà ricevere mentalmente la Verità oppure l’errore, ma riconoscerà ambedue solamente come ciò che sono, quando aspira alla Verità. Riconoscere la Verità come Verità, l’errore come errore però, significa essere pienamente convinto di pensare nel modo giusto o sbagliato. E malgrado ciò non avrà per questo valide dimostrazioni per il mondo, ma crederà. Di conseguenza la fede è stata conquistata per proprio merito, perché ha avuto la volontà di stare nella Verità, di riconoscere la Verità come tale. E quindi l’uomo può credere, quando vuole e non è un regalo, una Grazia poter credere, perché la fede premette sempre la volontà, il desiderio per la Verità. Questo vale per la fede che ha il vero valore dinanzi a Dio, Dio esige dagli uomini la fede in Lui come il sommo Essere perfetto pieno d’Amore, Potenza e Sapienza. Dio esige solo questa fede, perché è premessa per un cammino di vita sulla Terra che corrisponde alla Volontà divina e perché ha per conseguenza tutto ciò di cui l’anima ha bisogno per il suo sviluppo verso l’Alto. Perché chi ha questa fede, chiederà sempre e continuamente Consiglio all’eterna Divinità, si unirà mentalmente con Lei e tenderà coscientemente all’Essere più perfetto, nella conoscenza della propria imperfezione richiederà Consiglio ed Aiuto a Dio, accetterà con amore e gratitudine i Doni che gli sono offerti e quindi adempie lo scopo della sua vita terrena. Ma ogni uomo può conquistarsi la fede convinta in Dio come l’Entità oltremodo amorevole, saggia ed onnipotente, se comincia a riflettere seriamente sullo scopo della sua vita terrena assolutamente non influenzato, sempre con la volontà di riconoscere il giusto. Deve soltanto fare attenzione a tutto ciò che succede intorno a lui e seguire il destino della sua propria vita; allora potrà sempre riconoscere l’Amore di Dio, se non impiega come misura il ben vivere terreno. Inoltre la Creazione gli dimostrerà la Sapienza e l’Onnipotenza di Dio, sempre premesso che cerchi la Verità, che non desideri il chiarimento soltanto con l’intelletto, ma con il cuore, cioè che non cerchi di sondare la Verità in modo scolastico, ma che sia la spinta dal cuore più interiore a sondare lo scopo della sua vita terrena. Perché il pensare d’intelletto non garantisce la pura Verità, perché Dio, la Verità Stessa, Si tiene nascosto a coloro che non sono spinti a Lui dal desiderio più intimo. Perciò l’uomo semplice potrà anche credere più facilmente che un uomo con l’intelletto acuto, perché quest’ultimo si scervella ed indaga, dove è adeguato un intimo pensiero interrogativo all’eterno Creatore, per ricevere il chiarimento secondo la Verità. Il primo cerca di arrivare da solo alla meta, quest’ultimo però si rivolge coscientemente o incoscientemente a Dio per il chiarimento ed avrà comprensibilmente il giusto successo. Poter credere non è preservato a nessun uomo ed anche l’uomo con l’intelletto che pensa in modo acuto può credere in modo infantile, quando non sottopone al suo intelletto delle questioni spirituali per la risposta, perché possono essere risposte solo dal cuore. E persino il più grande scienziato può stare di fronte al Padre all’Eternità come un figlio, se si lascia impressionare dai Miracoli della Creazione che il suo intelletto soltanto non può sondare, ma trova la loro spiegazione nella profonda fede in una Divinità onnipotente, saggia ed amorevole. Chi non è in grado di credere, eleva sé stesso, perché l’umiltà del cuore gli fa trovare la profonda fede; l’arroganza però è un impedimento che non fa sorgere nessuna fede. Ma se l’uomo è umile o di spirito arrogante, dipende unicamente dalla sua volontà che si può piegare oppure rimanere nell’opposizione verso l’Essere Che lo ha creato e quindi vuole anche Essere riconosciuto da lui. E così anche la fede è un atto della libera volontà, non verrà mai trasmessa ad un uomo come Regalo di Grazia, ma la deve conquistare da sé stesso, per cui è anche reso capace da Dio, se usa il Dono dell’intelletto nel modo giusto, se desidera la Verità e si dà senza resistenza ai pensieri che gli giungono, appena desidera intimamente la Luce.

Faith merit act of free will.... no gift.... mind research....

The deepest darkness has to give way to bright light if the soul has a desire for it, on earth as well as in the spiritual kingdom, for the desire for it is always decisive as to how the soul is considered. And thus the human being on earth will also create the degree of light for himself which corresponds to his desire. And indeed, he will be able to mentally accept truth or error but only recognize both as what they are when he strives for truth. But to recognize truth as truth, error as error, means to be fully convinced that he thinks right or wrong. And yet he will have no proof of this that is valid for the world, but he will believe it..... Consequently, faith is acquired through his own merit because he had the will to stand in truth, to recognize truth as such. And thus the human being can believe if he wants to.... and it is not a gift, a grace, to be able to believe because faith always presupposes the will, the desire for truth. This applies to faith which has the right value before God, which God demands of people.... faith in Him as a supremely perfect being full of love, power and wisdom. God only requires this faith because it is the prerequisite for a way of life on earth which corresponds to divine will, and because it results in everything else the soul needs for its ascent development. For anyone who calls this faith his own will always and constantly consult the eternal deity, he will mentally unite with It and consciously strive towards the most perfect being.... in the realization of his own inadequacy he will appeal to God for advice and help, he will gratefully accept the blessings offered to him with love and thus fulfil his purpose of earthly life. But every human being can acquire convinced faith in God as an exceedingly loving, wise and omnipotent being if he begins to think about his purpose of earthly life completely uninfluenced, always with the will to recognize what is right. He need only pay attention to everything that happens around him and follow his own fate in life; then he will always be able to recognize God's love, if he does not use earthly well-being as a standard. Creation will continue to prove God's wisdom and omnipotence to him, always provided that he seeks the truth, that he desires clarification not only with his intellect but with his heart, i.e. that he does not seek to fathom the truth scholastically but that it is his innermost heart's urge to fathom his purpose of earthly life.... For intellectual thinking does not guarantee the pure truth, because God.... the truth Himself.... keeps Himself hidden from those who are not driven by their innermost desire for Him.... For this reason the simple-minded person will also be able to believe more easily than many a person with a keen intellect, because the latter ponders and investigates where a heartfelt questioning thought of the eternal creator is appropriate in order to receive truthful enlightenment. The former seeks to reach the aim alone, but the latter consciously or unconsciously turns to God for enlightenment and will understandably be rightly successful. To be able to believe is not reserved for any human being, and even the keenly thinking intellectual man is able to believe childishly as soon as he does not submit spiritual questions to his intellect for an answer, because they can only be answered by the heart. And even the greatest scientist can face the father of eternity like a child if he allows himself to be impressed by the wonders of creation which his intellect alone cannot fathom but which find their explanation in profound faith in an omnipotent, wise and loving deity. He who is unable to believe exalts himself, for humility of heart enables him to find profound faith; arrogance, however, is an obstacle that does not allow faith to arise. But whether the human being is humble or arrogant depends solely on his will, which can bend or remain in opposition to the being Which created him and thus also wants to be acknowledged by him. And thus faith is also an act of free will, it will never be conveyed to a person as a gift of grace but he has to acquire it himself, which he is also enabled to do by God if he uses the gift of intellect in the right way, if he desires the truth and unresistingly surrenders himself to the thoughts which come to him, as soon as he sincerely desires light....
