La forte volontà è necessaria per accogliere i pensieri

L’accoglienza dei pensieri è più difficile, più il mondo esteriore si avvicina all’uomo e lo ostacola di ascoltare la voce dello spirito in totale isolamento che ora gli sussurra dolcemente questi pensieri. Questo è un atto della più grande forza di volontà che deve sempre di nuovo essere esercitato, per cui c’è sempre di nuovo bisogno della Forza che l’uomo deve richiedere. Dato che è la Volontà divina che l’uomo si unisca con il suo spirito e si lasci da lui istruire, Dio non lascerà mai inudita una preghiera, questa deve soltanto provenire dal più profondo del cuore. Non dev’essere soltanto una preghiera formale o di labbra, ma il desiderio per il divino Dono di Grazia attraverso lo spirito dev’essere così forte che la preghiera fervente viene mandata in Alto, per cui all’uomo giungerà anche sempre la Forza. Allora egli è in grado di accogliere ogni pensiero che gli affluisce senza ripensamento e dubbio, solo allora può essere istruito e ricevere le più profonde Sapienze. Il Dono divino richiede totale attenzione, il Dono divino non viene elargito senza profondo desiderio ed il Dono divino viene trasmesso solo a colui che è pronto di darlo oltre. E per tutto è sempre necessaria una forte volontà che deve sempre e sempre di nuovo essere attiva daccapo, perché a questo l’uomo non viene mai costretto contro la sua volontà, ma nemmeno soverchiato con un Dono di Grazia che non desidera seriamente. Deve rimanere nella costante lotta, deve continuamente immergersi nella preghiera e ricordare che è qualcosa di oltremodo prezioso ciò che gli offre l’Amore di Dio e che questo Dono non gli può essere dato senza prestare fatica, senza che la sua volontà diventi attiva. I pensieri dal Regno spirituale lo circumfluiscono continuamente, buoni e cattivi e vogliono soltanto essere accolti da lui. Ed ora l’uomo si deve aprire e cioè richiedere coscientemente i buoni pensieri. Lui stesso attraverso la sua volontà si deve mettere nella condizione di poter sentire ogni pensiero che gli giunge. In certo qual modo deve aprire il suo orecchio spirituale ed ora ascoltare la voce delicata che gli si annuncia. Ma se l’uomo non riesce ad avere questa volontà, allora in lui rimane il silenzio. Non ha nessun intimo contatto con gli esseri dal Regno di Luce che gli vogliono trasmettere la Sapienza divina in forma mentale; e questo contatto dev’essere dapprima stabilito inevitabilmente, per cui in prima linea è necessaria una forte volontà.

And then the human being is able to receive every thought flowing to him without hesitation and doubt, and only then can he be taught and receive profound wisdom. divine gift requires undivided attention, divine gift is not given out without deep desire, and divine gift is only imparted to those who are willing to pass it on. And a strong will is required for everything, which must be active again and again. For a person is never forced to do so against his will, but neither is he showered with a gift of grace which he does not seriously desire. He must remain in constant struggle, he must constantly immerse himself in prayer and be mindful of the fact that God's love offers him something extremely precious and that this precious gift cannot fall to him effortlessly without his will becoming active. Thoughts from the spiritual kingdom constantly buzz around him, good and bad, and only want to be received by him. And now the human being has to open himself and consciously ask for the good thoughts. Through his will he must put himself into the state of being able to hear every thought that comes to him. He must, so to speak, open his spiritual ear and now listen to the subtle voice which now announces itself. But if the human being does not muster this will, it remains silent within him. He has no intimate contact with the beings of the kingdom of light who want to impart divine wisdom to him in a mental form; and this contact must inevitably be established first, which first requires a strong will....
