L’unione dello spirito con l’anima

La cosa più importante nella vita terrena è il momento dell’unificazione dello spirito con l’anima, perché questo momento è determinante per tutta l’Eternità. E’ per così dire deciso il destino dell’anima, è assicurata la sua Vita eterna. Un’anima che comincia ad unirsi con il suo spirito è sfuggita all’avversario di Dio, ha vinto la materia, quindi tende solo ancora ai beni spirituali e cerca di formare sempre più intimamente il collegamento con la scintilla spirituale in sé. L’uomo si è ora irrevocabilmente deciso per Dio ed ora l’anima rimane anche la Sua Proprietà, rimane eternamente unita con Lui. L’unificazione dello spirito con l’anima ha luogo quando il corpo e l’anima non hanno più interessi in comune, quando l’anima uccide il desiderio del corpo e cede solo ancora al desiderio dello spirito in sé, quando quindi l’anima tende solo alla meta spirituale, quindi anche il corpo smette il suo desiderio e lascia perseguire all’anima la sua meta spirituale senza impedirglielo. E l’unione dell’anima con lo spirito è quindi l’inizio dello sviluppo spirituale verso l’Alto, perché l’uomo esegue il suo compito mentre dà al mondo solo il suo tributo, ma mette nel proscenio la vita spirituale.

Unification of the spirit with the soul....

The most significant moment in life on earth is the moment when the spirit unites with the soul. For this moment is decisive for the whole of eternity. The fate of the soul is, as it were, decided, its eternal life is assured. A soul that begins to unite with its spirit has escaped the opponent of God, it has overcome matter, it therefore only strives for spiritual goods and seeks to form the connection with the spiritual spark within itself ever more intimately. The human being has now irrevocably decided in favour of God, and now the soul also remains His property, it remains eternally connected to Him. The unification of the spirit with the soul takes place when body and soul no longer have any common interests, when the soul kills the desire of the body and only gives in to the desire of the spirit within it.... when the soul therefore only strives for the spiritual goal, when the body also ceases its desire and allows the soul to pursue its spiritual goal unhindered. The unification of the soul with the spirit is therefore the beginning of spiritual higher development, because man fulfils his task by only paying tribute to the world, but placing the spiritual life in the foreground....
