Subordinare la volontà - La Grazia - Il sapere spirituale e terreno

L’uomo maturato interiormente si inserirà perfettamente nella Volontà divina, perché la sua percezione può approvare solamente ciò che corrisponde alla Volontà di Dio. In ogni situazione di vita si metterà in contatto con lo Spirito divino e cederà anche soltanto alla spinta del cuore, che manifesta la voce dello spirito divino. Questo non è un modo d’agire per costrizione, ma la sua volontà tende già al bene, quindi la volontà si subordina alla Volontà di Dio. E’ la volontà di agire bene dinanzi a Dio, avvalersi inconsapevolmente della Grazia divina, perché l’agire dello Spirito nell’uomo è Grazia che Dio trasmette a coloro che la desiderano. La volontà per il bene è anche la Volontà di Dio, e Dio Stesso va incontro al volenteroso e gli dà la Forza per eseguire ciò a cui aspira la sua volontà. Se ora l’uomo si mette coscientemente in collegamento con Dio attraverso la preghiera, gli fluisce ora la Grazia in supermisura, perché ora l’uomo ha trovato l’unificazione con Dio, riconosce Dio e cerca ora di servirLo, mentre prima aspira bensì al nobile, ma si crede di stare ancora da solo, perché non riconosce l’eterna Divinità. (02.09.1940) Tutto ciò che è bene e nobile, nel suo essere appartiene già a Dio, benché non ne abbia la piena consapevolezza. Sta nell’amore e così è vicino a Dio, e la Forza da Dio gli si deve comunicare, perché si trova nella Circolazione della Corrente dell’Amore divino. Ma deve anche arrivare irrevocabilmente alla conoscenza della Divinità, se è attivo nell’amore, perché attraverso l’amore si sciolgono gli involucri e lasciano libero lo spirito, ed ora è questo ad istruirlo e gli dà conoscenza di tutte le cose in ed intorno a sé. Ed ora l’uomo diventa sapiente, e questo è progresso spirituale. Entra in cosciente collegamento con lo spirituale nell’aldilà e viene istruito e quindi guidato sempre più vicino all’eterna Divinità, che è la meta e lo scopo della vita terrena. Quindi il giusto sapere non è da ricondurre al lavoro d’intelletto, ma alla costituzione del cuore. Se l’uomo è buono e nobile, allora sarà anche ricco nel sapere, di un tale sapere che ha valore per l’Eternità, perché le sapienze terrene perdono ogni valore con la morte di colui che ha tale sapienza. Il sapere terreno è indifferente, anzi può persino ostacolare l’uomo nell’accettazione del sapere spirituale, perché questo non coincide quasi mai con il sapere terreno, e cioè non quando colui che ha il sapere terreno non è capace di eseguire un’azione amorevole, quando cioè in lui non è ancora diventato vivente l’amore ed il suo stato spirituale è ancora molto senza Luce. Allora tutta la sapienza nella quale crede di stare, procura un guadagno solo per la vita terrena, ma non per la Vita dopo la morte corporea.

Subordination of the will.... Grace.... Spiritual and earthly knowledge....

The inwardly matured human being will completely harmonise himself with the divine will, for his feelings can only approve what corresponds to God's will. He will make contact with the divine spirit in every situation in life, thus, if he is willing to do what is right, he will be instructed by this divine spirit and also now yield to the urge of the heart, which expresses the voice of the divine spirit. This is not a forced way of acting, for his will already strives for the good, so the will subordinates itself to the will of God. It is the will to act right before God, the unconscious utilisation of divine grace, for the working of the spirit through the human being is a grace which God imparts to those who desire it. The will to do good is also the will toward God, and God Himself comes to meet the willing and gives him the strength to carry out what his will strives for. If the human being now consciously makes contact with God through prayer, grace will flow to him in abundance, for now the human being has found union with God, he recognises God and now seeks to serve Him, whereas before he certainly strived for the noble but still thought himself to be alone, because he did not recognise the eternal Deity. (2.9.1940) Everything that is good and noble already belongs to God in its essence, even if it is not fully conscious of it. It is part of love and is therefore close to God, and the power from God must communicate itself to it, because it stands in the circuit of divine love. But he must also inevitably come to recognise the Deity if he is working with love, for through love the outer shells dissolve and let the spirit free, and this now instructs him, and gives him knowledge of all things in and around himself. And now the human being becomes knowledgeable, which is spiritual progress. He enters into conscious contact with the spiritual in the beyond, and is taught, thus brought ever closer to the eternal Deity, which is the goal and purpose of earthly life. Hence the right knowledge is not due to intellectual work but to the inner state of the heart. If a person is good and noble he shall also be rich in knowledge.... of such knowledge which has value for eternity.... For earthly wisdom loses all value with the death of the one who stands in such wisdom.... Earthly knowledge is irrelevant, indeed, it can even prevent a person from accepting spiritual knowledge, because spiritual knowledge usually does not correspond to earthly knowledge, and this is not the case so the person with earthly knowledge is incapable of loving actions, that is, if love has not yet come alive in him and his spiritual state is still very devoid of light. Then all wisdom in which he believes to stand is only profitable for earthly life, but not for the life that follows after bodily death....
