I tormenti delle anime nude – Cerimonie sulla Terra

Nell’ora della morte l’anima è in estrema oppressione, se riconosce l’andata a vuoto della sua vita, e quest’ora è allora per lei una terribile lotta. Passa dalla porta dell’Eternità povera ed abbandonata, in uno stato, che è compassionevole, perché pensa alla sua vita sbagliata e non può dichiararsi libera da colpa. Ed in questa miseria è sovente doloroso ciò che si offre all’occhio spirituale di tali anime, se sulla Terra vengono insolitamente onorate e festeggiate e ciononostante questi festeggiamenti non possono essere messi in collegamento con l’esistenza estremamente misera nell’aldilà. Tutta la grandiosità sulla Terra è per queste anime un invincibile dolore, dato che è stato in certo qual modo motivo del loro tendere mondano e quindi causa della loro attuale situazione. Ed ora quest’anima cammina nella nudità e nell’estrema penuria, e tutti i festeggiamenti sulla Terra che hanno avuto luogo per lei, non le possono dare il minimo sollievo. Riempiono l’anima d’ira, e le auto accuse sono così terribili, che erra in uno stato tormentoso. Soltanto un pensiero inviatole con amore è in grado di portarle lenimento, e così l’anima può sperare soltanto in un sollievo, se lascia indietro sulla Terra degli uomini che erano legati con lei in vero amore. Ogni opera d’amore per quanto piccola, che una volta ha compiuto sulla Terra, è per lei un beneficio, dato che ora si trova in tutta la nudità, e se una persona sulla Terra la pensa in modo amorevole, le dà questa forza, e nel suo abbandono cerca una via che le può portare aiuto nella sua terribile situazione. Ma più vuota era la sua vita terrena in opere d’amore, più difficile troverà la via verso la Luce.

Agony of the naked souls.... celebrations on earth....

At the hour of death the soul is in extreme distress if it regocnizes the idleness of its life, and this hour is then a terrible struggle for it. It passes through the gate of eternity poor and abandoned, in a state that is pitiable because it remembers its failed life and cannot absolve itself of guilt. And in this adversity it is often painful what presents itself to the spiritual eye of such souls when they are unusually honoured and celebrated on earth and yet these celebrations cannot be brought into any connection with the extremely miserable existence in the beyond. All splendour on earth is an unspeakable pain for this soul as it was, so to speak, the cause of its worldly striving and thus of its present situation. And now this soul walks along in nakedness and extreme poverty, and all the festivities on earth that take place for its sake cannot give it the slightest relief.... They only fill the soul with anger, and the self-reproaches are so terrible that it wanders about in an agonizing state. Only a thought sent after it in love can bring it relief, and thus the soul can only hope for relief if it leaves people behind on earth who were united with it in true love. Every work of love, no matter how small, which it once did on earth is a blessing for it, now it is in all nakedness, and if a person on earth remembers it lovingly, this gives it strength, and in its abandonment it looks for a way which can bring it relief from its dreadful situation. However, the emptier its earthly life was in terms of works of love, the more difficult it will be for it to find the path to light....
