L’ozio

Senza inizio e senza fine, da Eternità in Eternità, Dio il Signore fa sentire agli uomini il Suo Amore. Tutte le cose respirano l’Amore di Dio e le fa sussistere la Pazienza e la Mansuetudine del Signore. E quando il Signore opera così evidente per portare la Luce ai Suoi figli sulla Terra, allora questa è anche una dimostrazione del Suo ultragrande Amore per gli uomini, che Egli ha posto nel Cosmo tutte le Magnificenze per renderle loro accessibili una volta. Un tale Amore Paterno non permette nemmeno mai che gli esseri, grandi e piccoli, siano esposti senza salvezza al potere maligno. A questo potere viene sempre posto un limite attraverso la Volontà e la Potenza di Dio, affinché non s’impossessi troppo dell’anima errante. La forza d’azione degli uomini è già un ostacolo, dove il nemico si sente paralizzato. La forza d’azione è data all’uomo e la può utilizzare secondo il proprio beneplacito, dato che gli era anche dato contemporaneamente la libera volontà per la carriera terrena. Chi ora utilizza poco questa forza d’azione, dà sé stesso nelle mani del nemico e poi la colpa non deve mai e poi mai essere data all’eterna Divinità, che lo ha messo nel Cosmo, perché ogni uomo viene provveduto dal Padre in modo, che a sua disposizione sta una misura di forza di volontà. Ma lui stesso vi mette sovente di fronte la propria pigrizia, e la forza di volontà viene da questa straordinariamente indebolita. Questo è un pericolo della massima importanza, perché quest’ozio si estende sia alla vita terrena come anche a quella spirituale. L’uomo, che è sempre mobile nel senso mondano, nel caso della conoscenza affronterà anche subito fattivamente il lavoro sulla sua anima, avrà la stessa ambizione di continuare il lavoro iniziato che vale per l’anima, come quando esegue l’attività terrena. Perciò per un uomo è il massimo pericolo essere inattivo sulla Terra, perché contemporaneamente langue poi la sua anima ed il tempo terreno passa inutilizzato per l’Eternità. L’Amore del Padre celeste agisce sempre ugualmente sull’uomo e gli fa giungere ogni stimolo, per risvegliarlo da una tale debolezza di volontà, inattività e letargia, e se la volontà dell’uomo è buona di servire Dio il Signore, questi stimoli della spinta all’attività aumentano. Ma se l’uomo si ribella, allora l’anima nella sua miseria, si cerca una via d’uscita, mentre con la collaborazione dei buoni esseri spirituali copre il corpo con diverse piaghe, con sofferenze corporee, con depressioni o disagi, che gli rendono difficile la vita o la rendono spiacevole. Allora l’uomo stesso si cerca una via d’uscita per sospendere tutte queste avversità, e comincia a fortificare la volontà, che poi agisce anche favorevolmente sulla forza corporea creativa.

Sluggishness....

Without beginning and without end, from eternity to eternity, the lord God makes people feel His love.... All things breathe God's love, and the patience and gentleness of the lord makes them endure. And if the lord so obviously works to bring light to His children on earth, this is also proof of His immense love for human beings, whom He has placed in the universe in order to make all its glories accessible to them one day. Such fatherly love also never allows beings, great and small, to be hopelessly at the mercy of evil power. God's will and power will always set a limit to this power so that it does not seize the erring soul too much. People's energy is already an obstacle where the enemy feels paralyzed. The power of action is given to man and he can use it at his own discretion, since at the same time he was also given free will for the earthly career. Whoever makes little use of this energy puts himself into the hands of the enemy, and the eternal deity, Who placed him in the universe, must never be blamed. For every human being is considered by the father in such a way that he has a measure of willpower at his disposal. However, he often opposes this with his own sluggishness and the strength of will is thereby extraordinarily weakened. This is a danger of the greatest importance.... for this sluggishness extends to both earthly and spiritual life. The person who is always active in the worldly sense will also tackle the work on his soul with the same vigour in the case of realization.... He will have the same endeavour to continue the work he has begun for the soul as he does for earthly activity. It is therefore the greatest danger for a person to be inactive on earth, for his soul will then likewise die and his time on earth will pass unused for eternity. The heavenly father's love constantly influences the human being and provides him with every stimulus in order to awaken him from such weakness of will, inactivity and lethargy, and if the human being's will to serve the lord God is good, these stimuli will increase the urge to be active.... But if the human being resists, then the soul, in its distress, seeks a way out by inflicting all kinds of plagues on the body with the help of the good spiritual beings, with physical suffering, depression or discomfort, which make life difficult or unpleasant for him. And then the person looks for a way out himself and, in order to overcome all these resistances, begins to strengthen his will, which then also has a favourable effect on his physical creative power....
