L’origine des pensées - la faculté de recevoir

Dans l’abondance des pensées il monte toujours à la surface une pensée qui coïncide avec la volonté de l'homme, c’est la volonté elle-même qui est la cause de la direction que prennent les pensées de l'homme. Le cerveau humain est plein d'impressions ; toutes cherchent à pénétrer dans la conscience de l'homme, mais la volonté se décide pour une pensée déterminée et maintenant celle-là est cultivée ou bien repoussée, selon comment l'esprit de l'homme entre en contact avec l'Esprit de Dieu pour autant qu’il aspire à des résultats spirituels. Il ne faut pas entendre cela dans le sens où l'homme pourrait avoir seulement des pensées conformes à sa tendance en tant qu’homme, car l'esprit de Dieu peut aussi être actif tout en laissant agir sur l'homme des impressions venant de l'extérieur, de sorte que chaque pensée accueillie puisse être importante, pour autant que l’homme tende au savoir spirituel et donc désire l'éclaircissement. Alors que dans un homme qui a une mentalité terrestre entre en fonction seulement l'appareil à penser comme tel, donc les réponses aux questions soulevées sont sans importance, parce qu'elles ne servent pas à la promotion spirituelle de l'homme. Chaque question peut être posée d’une manière spirituelle et donc la réponse se fera d’une manière spirituelle, mais la même question peut aussi trouver une réponse purement terrestre. Et ainsi la Source d’où la Sagesse peut être transmise à l'homme est inépuisable parce que c’est toujours l'Esprit de Dieu qui la prodigue, parce que la Sagesse divine est infinie. La limite dépend seulement du degré de formation de l'âme humaine à pouvoir accueillir ce que lui a transmis l'Esprit. Elle doit s'être mise dans une condition capable de percevoir les vibrations les plus subtiles de l'Esprit et sentir en elle le moindre tintement de la voix du cœur. L'Esprit de Dieu veut toujours donner et enseigner, mais les appareils de réception ne sont pas toujours précisément disposés à percevoir les vibrations les plus subtiles. L'homme doit fermer volontairement son oreille au monde, il ne doit donner accès à aucune pensée terrestre en lui, il ne doit rien faire d'étranger qui pourrait être une cause de dérangement, mais il doit uniquement s’occuper des mouvements en lui qui sont conditionnés spirituellement, et qui voudraient être transmis par l'esprit à l’âme de l'homme. Au début cette voix dans le cœur de l'homme n'est pas facilement compréhensible et demande la plus grande attention et l'exclusion de toute pensée terrestre. Mais l'homme peut aussi arriver avec une extrême facilité et sans fatigue à la réception de messages spirituels, lorsqu’il tend à exclure toute pensée terrestre et désire être instruit seulement par l'Esprit de Dieu. Le monde, avec tout ce qui lui est attaché, dérange la liaison intérieure avec les donateurs purement spirituels d'une Vérité divine, donc la réception sera toujours difficile ou bien entièrement empêchée tant que des problèmes terrestres touchent encore l'homme et ceux-ci ne peuvent pas être entièrement exclus à l'instant où doit avoir lieu une transmission du patrimoine spirituel. Il est d'une importance très particulière que tous les charmes du monde soient évités si l'âme veut être promue spirituellement et si l'homme veut augmenter son savoir sur les Vérités spirituelles, parce que toute distraction terrestre est une entrave, parce qu'elle rend l'âme de l'homme incapable d’entendre la voix spirituelle, et la Vérité divine ne peut pas être transmise à l'homme d’une autre façon pour qu'elle soit acceptée sans doute. Et donc la séparation définitive du monde doit avoir eu lieu si le fils terrestre veut donner un regard dans les Miracles de la Création divine, qui autrement lui restent cachés selon la sage Ordonnance du Seigneur.

Receptivity....

From the abundance of thoughts, that thought always rises to the surface, which adapts itself to the human being's will.... that is, it is the will itself which determines the path the human being's thinking takes. The human brain is full of impressions; they all try to penetrate the human being's consciousness, yet the will decides in favour of a certain thought, and this is then either developed further or rejected, depending on whether the human spirit enters into contact with the spirit of God, providing spiritual results are striven for. This is by no means to be understood in such a way that the human being could only have such thoughts as he strives for as a mere human being. Now, the spirit from God can also be active by also letting the outside impressions have an effect on man, so that each of the received thoughts can be of importance, provided man strives for spiritual knowledge and therefore desires enlightenment. Whereas with an earthly minded person only the thinking apparatus as such comes into function, thus the answers to the question asked are irrelevant, since they do not serve the person's spiritual advancement. Every question can therefore be asked spiritually and thus also answered spiritually, just as the same question can also find a purely earthly answer. And thus, the source from which wisdom can be imparted to the human being is inexhaustible, for the spirit from God will always and constantly distribute such wisdom, for divine wisdom is unlimited. It only depends on how far the human soul has shaped itself in order to be able to receive what is imparted to it by the spirit. It must have brought itself into a state that it feels the finest vibrations of the spirit, and hears the faintest sound of the heart's voice within itself. The spirit from God always wants to give and instruct, but the receiving devices are not always as carefully adjusted that they hear the faintest vibrations. The human being must willingly close his ear to the world, he must not give room to any earthly thought within himself, he must not allow anything foreign to enter as a disturbance, but he must only pay attention to the impulses within himself which are spiritually conditioned, that is, which the spirit within the human being wants to impart to the soul. Initially, this voice in the human heart is not easy to understand and requires the greatest attention, and the elimination of all earthly thoughts. Yet it is extremely easy for the human being to effortlessly receive spiritual messages, if he endeavours to exclude all earthly thinking and only desires to be taught by the divine spirit. The world with all its attachments disturbs the inner connection with the pure-spiritual givers of divine truth, thus the reception will always be difficult or even completely prevented as long as earthly problems still affect the human being, and these cannot be completely eliminated at the time when the imparting of spiritual knowledge is to take place. It is of particular importance that all stimuli of the world have to be avoided, if the soul is to be spiritually encouraged and the human being is to increase his knowledge of spiritual truths, for every earthly distraction is a hindrance, because it renders the human being's soul incapable of hearing the spiritual voice, and divine wisdom cannot be conveyed to the human being by other means such that it can be received without doubt. And therefore, the separation from the world must have taken place completely, if the earthly child wants to gain insight into the miracles of divine creation, which otherwise remain withheld from him according to the Lord's wise counsel....
