La volonté de la foi - l'influence des bonnes Forces spirituelles

Rester dans la foi est immensément délicieux pour l'âme. Cela lui donne un sentiment de bien-être, vu qu’elle perçoit les Bénédictions de la Force et de la Grâce divines, et donc il lui devient plus facile de monter dans des régions plus hautes. Et ainsi à une âme il peut arriver la Libération seulement lorsque l'homme dans une foi profonde accomplit tout ce qui est bien pour l'âme. Parce qu'à la foi suit l'amour, et alors l'homme cherche l'activité dans l'amour, et ces œuvres d'amour augmentent de nouveau la Force, elles attirent la Proximité de Dieu, et l'âme se détache lentement de ses liens et s'unit avec l'esprit de Dieu en elle. Parce que tout progrès peut avoir lieu seulement lorsque l'âme se sépare de ses avidités qui la tenaient liées précédemment si elle ne désire pas autre chose qu'être près de Dieu, alors chaque aspiration lui sera facile et la mènera avec certitude au but. Pour venir en possession d’une foi très vraie, l'homme doit se libérer de tous les enseignements erronés, de la superstition, il doit chercher à se confier à l’Être suprême qu’il ne peut raisonnablement pas nier, et demander à cet Être l'Explication spirituelle. Déjà alors il lui sera offert la juste foi sous une forme appropriée, parce que si l'homme veut être déjà sur la voie droite, il lui suffit de se tourner en priant dans sa libre volonté vers l'Entité la plus haute. Seulement celui qui est totalement sans foi et qui ne veut rien reconnaître et considère la vie autour de lui et en lui avec indifférence et l’accepte ainsi, a son cœur très endurci et il ne s'approchera pas très facilement de la foi. Même s’il avait Communication de la foi et de la Doctrine du Christ il repousserait tout et le considérerait même avec une arrogance savante qu’il estime justifiée, par contre il se moquera des autres. Si à de tels hommes la profonde souffrance que le Seigneur leur envoie n'enseigne pas autre chose, alors les choses sont très tristes pour une telle âme, et chaque effort des bons êtres spirituels, à la protection desquels ceux-ci sont confiées, est vain. C’est une lutte sans fin pour de telles âmes qui restent dans l'absence de foi, et sur lesquelles doivent être employés les moyens les plus extrêmes pour les enlever de leurs pensées qui les aveuglent, tandis que par contre d’un homme terrestre croyant jaillit une indescriptible joie dans le Royaume de l'au-delà, cette joie stimule les bons esprits à une activité d'amour toujours plus grande sur les âmes qui leur sont confiées. La moindre rencontre avec ceux qui sont sur la Terre est exploitée pour agir sur le cours des pensées de l'homme, et ainsi même les hommes mécréants se sentiront souvent poussés à réfléchir sur les problèmes les plus inexplicables. Ils repousseront souvent tout, mais ils ne peuvent pas toujours repousser les pensées qui guident l'homme souvent dans des régions où eux-mêmes ne réussissent pas à aller, et de tels dépaysement sont toujours précieux, même lorsqu’ils sont encore loin de la Vérité. Et lorsque l'homme est encore très adonné au monde, il surviendra de toute façon des heures durant lesquelles ce qui est terrestre ne peut plus le séduire, où il réfléchira sur le début et sur la fin, où il s’insinuera une légère inquiétude lorsqu’il pensera à son décès. Si dans la vie nul n’a pu le changer, alors la pensée de la mort ébranlera la rigidité de son esprit, même si cela se passe d’une manière moins agréable, mais à partir de cela il peut ensuite être instruit par les Forces spirituelles qui l'assistent. Et celui qui prend en compte les avertissements qui lui arrivent s'occupera à la fin de ses jours avec tout ce qui peut le guider vers la foi, et tout en étant encore dans la vie terrestre il se repentira sérieusement de ce qu’il a manqué de faire et demandera à Dieu Son Aide et Sa Compassion. À celui-ci le Père ira à sa rencontre affectueusement encore dans la dernière heure et Il le bénira, et dans l'au-delà sa lutte sera plus facile.

Willingness to believe.... influence of the good forces of the spirit....

Perseverance in faith is unspeakably blissful for the soul. It gives it a feeling of well-being, as it beneficially experiences the blessings of divine strength and grace and the ascent to higher regions becomes easier as a result. And so a soul can only be redeemed if the human being, in profound faith, accomplishes everything that is beneficial to the soul. For faith is followed by love.... and in love the human being then seeks affirmation.... and works of love again increase the strength, attract the closeness of God, and the soul gradually releases itself from its bonds and unites with the spirit from God within it. For all progress can only take place when the soul separates itself from the desire that has hitherto bound it.... when it desires nothing other than to be with God, then every endeavour will be easy for it and will certainly lead to the goal. In order to come into possession of complete faith, man must free himself from all false doctrine, from superstition.... He must try to entrust himself to the supreme being, Whom he cannot intellectually deny, and ask this being for spiritual enlightenment.... Then the right faith will already be offered to him in a palatable form, for if the human being wants to, then he is already on the right path as soon as he freely turns to the supreme being in supplication. Only someone who is so completely without faith that he does not want to recognize anything and looks at and accepts life around and within himself with indifference, his heart is very hardened and will not come closer to faith so easily. He too will be told about the faith and the teaching of Christ, but he will reject everything and arrogantly consider himself to be knowledgeable and recognizing, while laughing at others. If such people are not taught otherwise by the deep suffering sent to them by the lord, then it looks very sad for such a soul and all endeavours of the good spiritual beings, whose protection they are entrusted with, are in vain.... It is an unparalleled struggle for such souls who persist in faithlessness, and the most extreme means must be used to dissuade them from their deluded thinking, whereas a believing earthly human being triggers indescribable joy in the kingdom of the beyond and inspires the good spirits to ever greater activity of love towards the souls entrusted to them. The slightest concession on earth will be used to influence a person's train of thought, and thus even unbelieving people will often feel prompted to think about the most unsolved problems. They certainly reject everything but they cannot always resist their thoughts, which often lead people into areas where they themselves cannot find their way, and such musings are always of value even if they are still far removed from the truth. And no matter how devoted a person is to the world.... there come hours when even all earthly things cannot entice him.... where he thinks about the beginning and the end.... where a quiet restlessness creeps over him when he thinks of his demise. If nothing in life could change him, then the thought of death will shake him out of his mental torpor, albeit in a less than pleasant way, but it can then be built upon by the spiritual forces that care for him. And blessed is he who follows the admonitions within him.... who, even at the end of his days, deals with everything that can lead him to faith and who seriously repents in earthly life of what he has neglected and asks God for His help and mercy. The father will lovingly meet him in the last hour and bless him.... and his struggle in the afterlife will be an easier one....
