Responsabilidades de los padres y los hijos

Vuestra existencia como hombre en la Tierra comienza en pleno desconocimiento. El alma se encuentra todavía en tinieblas espirituales, por lo que antes de ponerse tan sólo a disolver su densa envoltura tiene que haber llegado a una consciencia de sí misma. Ya puede empezar a disolver esa envoltura sin haber recibido un saber particular, porque en su juventud más tierna, íntimamente, ya puede poner los buenos sentimientos en relieve - a pesar de no actuar conforme a cierta comprensión.

Pero el hombre siempre debe ser consciente de sí mismo, porque de lo contrario su pensar y actuar no puede ser considerado... Tal niño, a buena hora ya, hace que se desarrolle en él la Chispa de amor, lo que es muy bien porque el impulso para esto viene de su propio interior... Mientras que otro niño –que se encuentra en el mismo estado de consciencia de sí mismo– cede a los malos impulsos en su interior, a pesar de notar el ligero sentimiento que lo que está haciendo no es correcto.

En ambos casos aún no se puede hablar de comprensión, pero la Chispa de amor está depositada en cada ser humano. Por eso la manera inicial de obrar de los niños es tan diferente... sólo porque sus almas reaccionan de diferente manera a los impulsos íntimos... pero aun así cada niño está consciente de si actúa bien o mal - eso tan sólo habiendo llegado al estado de consciencia de sí mismo.

Ahora, poco a poco, al niño también está impartido un saber, pues llega a saber del orden y sus leyes. Cada vez más le queda claro qué tiene consecuencias buenas o malas - ya por propia experiencia. Se le hace comprender los conceptos del bien y del mal. Y otra vez los seres humanos que se desarrollan reaccionarán de diferente manera, conforme ellos mismos aviven en su interior la llama del amor y también se dejen influir desde su interior.

Conforme a esto también aumenta la comprensión, o se mantiene la ceguera inicial del alma, porque el saber suministrado al hombre desde el exterior no tiene que ser ni mucho menos una comprensión... pues sólo llega a serlo si el amor en el hombre vivifica el saber... Aunque el saber pueda llenar la mente, seguirá siendo solamente un reflejo deslumbrante que no tiene la fuerza para encender Luz en el alma del hombre; por lo que el alma sigue siendo rodeada de envolturas.

Pero desde el momento en que el hombre haya llegado a ser consciente de sí mismo y percibe en sí la voz de la conciencia –de modo que se ha despertado en él la noción del bien y del mal, lo que en un niño puede suceder más pronto que en otro– le serán pedido cuentas por su conducta...

Siempre será tenida en cuenta la debilidad de un alma que prematuramente tenía que dejar su cuerpo atrás... siempre será tenido en cuenta el grado de madurez y también el saber que, hasta entonces, había sido impartido al ser humano. Ahí no puede servir como medida una comprensión cabal porque esta sólo se adquiere mediante el amor. Pues cada hombre es valorado según el amor que puede ser encendido en él.

Pero también puede ser extinguida la Chispa de amor, lo que siempre tiene como consecuencia un pensar y actuar con maldad. Esto se manifiesta nada más que el hombre –como ser humano que puede servirse de su voluntad y, conforme a su mala alma no dispuesta a actuar en el amor, también se aprovechará de esta voluntad que también se cerrará a un saber que le está impartido– llegue a ser consciente de que cierta “comprensión” no extingue este instinto malvado. Sólo si hay manera de influir en un niño para que haga el bien, entonces puede ser que esta tendencia malvada se pierda, con lo que también la voz de la conciencia volverá a hacerse notar más claramente.

Por eso sobre los padres grava una enorme responsabilidad, porque deberían hacer todo lo posible para despertar en los niños el amor, y los deberían estimular a que ya presten pequeños servicios... y así formar en los niños el sentimiento de disponibilidad y extinguir en ellos tendencias demasiado egoístas. Pues una vez que la Chispa de amor esté encendida, también se propagará; de modo que el alma ya no estará envuelta por tinieblas...

De por sí, en el corazón se hará Luz... El pensar y actuar del niño ya serán conscientes y, cuando ahora le estará impartido el saber correspondiente, pronto le aportarán la Luz de la comprensión. Porque el amor es todo... y cada ser humano es apto para el amor, porque Dios mismo ha depositado una Chispa en cada hombre –parte de Él mismo–, para recuperarle del estado de la muerte y volver a llevarle al estado de la Vida...

Responsibility of parents and children....

You start your earthly existence as a human being in complete ignorance. The soul is still shrouded in spiritual darkness because it first has to reach a state of self-awareness before it can get started with dissolving its dense surrounding cover. It can already do this without having received particular knowledge, for it can express its good feelings at a very early age even though it does not act in relation to a certain amount of realisation. But the human being always has to be cognisant of himself otherwise his thoughts and actions could not be appraised. Such a child develops its spark of love early on; it is good, because it is motivated to do so from within.... whereas another child in the same state of self-awareness gives in to bad impulses within itself, even though it feels a slight sense of wrong doing inside itself. In both cases one cannot as yet speak of realisation, but the spark of love is placed into every human being, and children's initial behaviour is therefore only different because their souls react differently to inner urges, but every child is nevertheless conscious as to whether its behaviour is good or bad.... once it has reached the stage of self-awareness.

And now the child slowly receives knowledge too.... it gets acquainted with the laws of order, that is, it begins to understand increasingly more, and it will also experience the effects of good or bad on itself.... it is taught the concept of good and bad, and again people will react differently as they grow into adults, depending on whether they kindle the flame of love in themselves and allow themselves to be influenced from within. And accordingly their realisation will either grow or the soul's initial blindness will remain, for the knowledge given to the person from outside need by no means become realisation, rather, it only becomes it when the human being's love brings the knowledge to life.... Knowledge can certainly satisfy the intellect, yet it will always merely be a deceptive light without strength to illuminate the human being's soul, and therefore the soul continues to stay covered by layers. The human being, however, will be held accountable from the moment he is aware of himself, from the moment he is able to hear the voice of conscience.... thus, when his perception of good or bad has awakened within him, which can happen sooner in one and later in an other child, but which is a prerequisite for its responsibility of its actions. Yet the weakness of a soul which has to give up its earthly life at an early stage is always taken into account. The degree of maturity as well as the knowledge the human being was given so far will always be considered. For complete realisation cannot be applied as a criterion, since this can only be gained through love.

The human being, however, is assessed according to his love, and this can be ignited into a flame in every person, but the spark of love can also be stifled, and that always also indicates adverse thinking and doing, which appear as soon as the person becomes conscious of himself as a being which can use its will and does so in line with its soul which is wicked and unwilling to love and which will also close itself to any given knowledge.... thus 'realisation' does not stifle this bad inner instinct. Only when a child can be influenced to do something good can this wicked compulsion disappear and the voice of conscience express itself more noticeably again, too.

For this reason parents carry an extra large responsibility, they should do everything to awaken love in the child, they should encourage it to carry out small helpful tasks and thus cultivate a sense of helpfulness in the children and stifle their excessive selfish instincts.... For as soon as the spark of love has been kindled it will also spread, and the soul will no longer be shrouded in darkness, the heart will become enlightened by itself, and then the child will already think and act consciously which will soon also result in the light of realisation, once it is given the appropriate information.... For love is everything.... and every human being is capable of love, because God Himself has placed into every human being a spark which is part of Himself in order to lead him from the state of death back into the state of life....
