La verdadera Iglesia.... Sectas.... La obra del Espíritu....

El hecho de que existan tantas direcciones espirituales y creencias, y de que los seres humanos fueron llevados en su mayoría a esas instituciones en contra de su voluntad debería daros a vosotros, los humanos, algo de pensar. No es la voluntad del niño la que determina en qué dirección de creencias “ha nacido” y, por lo tanto, no es mérito ni culpa de ningún ser humano de ser educado en una determinada dirección de creencia....

Y si ahora la una o la otra fuera la “única que lleva a la salvación”.... si una u otra fuera la única que es justa ante Dios o agradable a Él, entonces los seres humanos que han sido guiados en entras direcciones espirituales podrían sentirse con razón desfavorecidos por Dios, de que la “verdadera iglesia” les ha sido negada por su nacimiento.

Sin embargo, de ninguna manera se puede llegar a la verdad sin el propio esfuerzo, y es completamente irrelevante en qué dirección de creencia haya nacido. Cada ser humano debe esforzarse por sí mismo para llegar a la luz de la verdad. Y es igualmente cierto que la verdad no puede no se puede inculcar a través de la educación hasta que el ser humano mismo no haya acumulado en su interior el suelo adecuado en el que la verdad pueda arraigar, para ahora convertirse en su propiedad y permanecerlo.

Pero ese hecho mencionado previamente también debería hacer reflexionar a todos los seres humanos, que insisten en pertenecer a una determinada dirección espiritual y se consideran como “caminando en la verdad”.... Es una presuntuosa idea creer de poseer el privilegio del Reino de los Cielos. Pero muchos tienen esta presuntuosa idea, pues todos los seguidores de sectas están plenamente convencidos de poseer la única verdad.... Y, sin embargo, en su mayoría, solo han adoptado lo que les enseñaron aquellos que eran igualmente fanáticos y se consideraban infalibles. Y ninguno de ellos ha considerado cómo Dios Mismo se relaciona con quienes que no pertenecen a su dirección espiritual....

Mientras solo el amor a Dios y al prójimo, y la obra redentora de Jesucristo forman la base de una dirección espiritual, podrán surgir verdaderos cristianos de esta dirección espiritual, a quienes también pronto brillará la luz de la verdad. Porque cuando los mandamientos de amor de Dios se cumplen en la fe en Jesucristo, el divino Redentor, entonces el ser humano se activa por sí mismo y, por su propia voluntad entra en la “comunidad de creyentes”, la Iglesia que Jesucristo Mismo fundó en la Tierra.... Y cada ser humano debe tomar esta decisión por sí mismo, o también:

La religión fundamental es el cumplimiento de los mandamientos del amor, y mientras éste sea desatendido, el ser humano está fuera de la Iglesia de Cristo, fuera de la verdad, independientemente de que pertenezca a una dirección de creencia que pretenda ser la “única verdadera” y “salvadora”.

Ningún ser humano puede adquirir la salvación simplemente por pertenecer a una determinada dirección espiritual o a través de las acciones que esta exige. Solo el amor verdadero y desinteresado al prójimo, y por consiguiente el amor demostrable a Dios, lleva a la salvación, y esto puede practicarse en cualquier dirección espiritual, lo que a su vez llevará a la cognición de la verdad pura.

Pero mientras haya congregaciones delimitadas, mientras cada una trate de ganar miembros para sí que se supone deben demostrar su membresía lo que ellos mismos enseñan.... mientras la libertad de pensamiento de estos miembros sea restringida, éstos también solo son meros seguidores, pero no cristianos vivos, que pueden contarse entre la Iglesia de Cristo....

(24.03.1958) Pero tan pronto como un ser humano se haya vuelto “vivo”, lo cual presupone solo una vida vivida en amor, también reconoce hasta qué punto una dirección espiritual puede reivindicar la verdad. Entonces podrá instruir a sus semejantes mejor que los líderes de esas direcciones espirituales, pero tampoco podrá transmitir su cognición al semejante, sino que éste tiene que cumplir las mismas condiciones, que le llevan a la cognición de la verdad pura: él también tiene que convertirse primero en un cristiano “vivo” a través de una vida de amor, porque entonces su fe se fortalecerá y pertenecerá a la Iglesia de Cristo, que Él Mismo construyó sobre la roca de la fe.

Cualquier ser humano pensante debería comprender que Dios nunca condicionara la salvación de un ser humano a la dirección de creencia o la comunidad a la que pertenezca, porque el hecho mismo de que los seres humanos nazcan en esas comunidades sin ninguna expresión de su propia voluntad debería hacerles reflexionar.... siempre que sigan lo suficientemente creyentes para reconocer un Dios y un propósito del ser humano.

Para los incrédulos, tales ideas no son debatibles, porque rechazan toda dirección de creencia. Pero aquellos que defienden con demasiado celo sus opiniones e intentan repetidamente citar palabras de la Escritura como prueba de su veracidad.... palabras que ellos mismos interpretan solo intelectualmente.... solo valen estas palabras: que solo el amor deja que el espíritu en el ser humano se haga efectivo.

Pero entonces el Espíritu les instruirá según la verdad, y entonces también serán aclaradas también las enseñanzas erróneas en cada dirección espiritual, de las cuales el ser humano debe liberarse si quiere ser un cristiano vivo, un seguidor de la verdadera “Iglesia de Cristo”, que no tiene otras características externas que solo la obra del Espíritu divino....

The true church.... Sects.... Working of the spirit....

The fact that so many schools of thought or faith exist and that people are usually admitted into them without their own will should make you humans think. The child’s will does not determine the faith it is ‘born into’, and therefore it is similarly not a persons own merit or own fault to be educated in a particular school of faith.... And if now either one church or the other would be the ‘only beatifying....’, if only one or the other would be right before God or pleasing to Him, then people who were born into other schools of thought could rightfully feel disadvantaged by God that the ‘true church’ was withheld from them due to their birth. But it is by no means the case that a human being can come to the truth without their own effort, and again it is completely unimportant into which school of thought he was born into.... Because every human being has to struggle for the light of truth himself. And it is equally certain that truth cannot be implanted through education unless the person has gathered the right foundation within himself on which the truth can take root in order to now become and to remain his possession. But this aforementioned fact should also make those people think who maintain their affiliation to a particular school of thought and deem themselves to be ‘living in truth’....

It is a presumptuous idea to believe to possess the privilege for the kingdom of heaven.... But many people have this presumptuous idea because all members of sects are utterly convinced to possess the exclusive truth.... And yet they have mostly taken on board what they in turn were taught by those who equally fanatically deemed themselves infallible. And none of them have spent any thought on how God Himself regards those who do not belong to their school of thought....

As long as a school of thought is only based on love for God and other people and Jesus Christ’s act of Salvation it can also produce true Christians to whom the light of truth will soon shine as well.... For if God’s commandments of love are fulfilled while believing in Jesus Christ the divine Redeemer, the human being is becoming active himself, and then he has voluntarily joined the ‘community of believers’, the church which Jesus Christ Himself founded on earth....

And every human being has to make this personal decision for himself,. or: the fundamental religion is the fulfilment of the commandments of love and as long as this is ignored the person stands outside the church of Christ, outside of the truth, in spite of belonging to a school of faith which pretends to be the ‘only true’ and ‘beatifying’ one.

No human being can acquire beatitude merely by belonging to a particular school of thought or through actions demanded by it.... Only truly unselfish love for other people and thereby also demonstrated love for God leads to beatitude, and this can be practised in every school of thought, which will then also lead to the knowledge of pure truth. However, as long as there are separate communities, as long as each one tries to win members for itself who have to prove their membership by accepting what they teach themselves.... as long as these members’ freedom of thought is restricted they are mere supporters but not living (24.03.1958) Christians who can consider themselves to belong to the church of Christ....

But as soon as a person becomes ‘alive’, which thus only requires the condition of a life of love, he also realises the extent of truth a school of thought can claim for itself. Then he will certainly be able to instruct his fellow human beings better than the leaders of the schools of thought but he will not be able to transfer his insight to his fellow human being either, instead his fellow human being has to fulfil the same conditions which will lead to the realisation of the pure truth: He first has to become a ‘living’ Christian through a life of love because this results in a strong faith, and then he also belongs to the church of Christ, which He Himself has built on the rock of faith.

It should make sense to every thinking human being that God will never depend a person’s beatitude on the school or community of faith he belongs to, since the simple fact that people are born into and attached to such communities without volition should make them think.... provided they still have enough faith to acknowledge a God and a purpose for the human being. For atheists such thoughts are not worth discussing anyway because they dismiss every school of faith. But to those who all too eagerly support their opinion and repeatedly try to prove their truth by quoting words from the scriptures which, however, they only interpret rationally, apply the words that only love alone activates the spirit within the human being. In that case, however, the spirit will also instruct them in accordance with the truth, and therefore misguided teachings will also be highlighted from which the person has to liberate himself if he wants to be a living Christian, a follower of the true ‘church of Christ’, which does not exhibit any other outward characteristics than just the working of the divine spirit....
