Nadie puede servir a dos amos

Nadie puede servir a dos amos... El que quiere unirse conmigo nunca podrá dirigir los ojos hacia el mundo, porque a Mí sólo se me encuentra afuera del mundo. De modo que si se quiere que Yo me deje encontrar, antes hay que abstenerse de las exigencias del mundo porque este debe quedar totalmente ignorado, dado que pertenece a mi adversario, pues es dominio suyo donde él hace lo que le place.

Consta que la intención del adversario es todo menos llevar a los hombres a Mí, mediante el mundo, sino él procura a descartarme... pues continuamente procura enaltecer el mundo para que los hombres se olviden de Mí... Pero quien de vosotros lo toma en serio con su desarrollo en ascenso, de ninguna manera ya puede hacer caso a las tentaciones del mundo... Aunque él todavía se encuentre en medio del mundo que le obliga a grandes exigencias con las que tiene que cumplir, pero ahí hay que hacer una gran diferencia entre una obligación cumplida y un propio deseo mundano.

Ahí la obligación cumplida concuerda completamente con mi Voluntad, porque os está impuesta una tarea terrenal, aparte de la cual también podéis cumplir con vuestra tarea espiritual, la maduración del alma. Eso si no predominan las exigencias del mundo que consisten en que delicias y placeres mundanos predominan el deseo de bienes espirituales, con lo que el hombre ahí me olvida - además, tan sólo el pensamiento en Mí le resulta incómodo y por eso me rechaza...

Aquel que intenta facilitar a su cuerpo el máximo placer posible –sea por satisfacción de deseos y apetitos carnales, o también por acumulación de bienes materiales, pero con todo ello no piensa en el prójimo– y sólo actúa en su propio favor, él es cautivo de su mundo pues es una herramienta a voluntad de mi adversario, y nunca encontrará el camino hacia Mí si no se desentiende de las aspiraciones por el mundo terrenal... si no se interioriza y si no aspira por bienes espirituales.

Ambos casos a la vez no son posibles, porque entonces el hombre serviría a dos amos pero a ninguno le atendería conforme a las instrucciones. Si me buscáis a Mí, también tenéis que dirigir la vista al Cielo, porque Yo me encuentro Arriba y no abajo... Pero abajo está allí donde mi adversario tiene su reino, donde todavía os encontráis vosotros –en lo que se refiere al cuerpo– pero desde allí en todo momento vuestro alma puede lanzarse hacia Arriba a mi Reino - hacia Mí...

De modo que si el cuerpo todavía se encuentra en el reino de mi adversario, en todo momento el alma, vuestro pensar, sentir y querer pueden elevarse a esferas que se encuentran fuera de la Tierra... Y eso es lo que exijo de aquel que quiere encontrarme y que también quiere ser Mío... Entonces la Chispa del Espíritu en él se une con el Espíritu del Padre desde la eternidad; porque si el hombre realmente aspira a Mí, entonces también su corazón está lleno de amor –un amor que tiene nada en común con el amor mundano– porque este amor se manifestará ante el prójimo, y entonces el hombre ya realiza la conexión conmigo... se desprende de aquello que forma parte del mundo... él da, y de esta manera sirve al prójimo y, como Yo he otorgado esta Ley, también me sirve a Mí - como Amo suyo.

El amor al mundo es una variante sobre el amor propio, que es el amor que el hombre debe combatir si quiere llegar a ser bienaventurado. De modo que el hombre también debe combatir el amor al mundo, y debe procurar a cumplir con los deseos del alma, estimulados por el Espíritu en su interior - deseos que se extienden a bienes espirituales y que manifiestan el amor a Mí.

Porque únicamente Yo soy el Señor al que debéis servir - si queréis llegar a ser bienaventurados...

‘No-one can serve two masters....’

No-one can serve two masters.... Anyone who wants to make contact with Me will never be able to look towards the world, for I can only be found beyond the world, and if I should allow Myself to be found then the desire for the world must be put aside, it must be completely ignored, for the world belongs to My adversary, it is his domain where he has free reign. And he really does not aspire to lead people to Me by way of the world, instead, he seeks to displace Me, he constantly tries to place special emphasis on the world so that I should be forgotten. So if anyone amongst you is serious about his higher development he cannot possibly still pay tribute to the world.... even though he is still in the midst of the world which makes great demands on him which he has to comply with, yet there is indeed a difference between duty and personal worldly longing. The former is entirely according to My will, for on earth you are given a task, but apart from that you can also fully accomplish your spiritual task, the maturing of your soul, if the desire for the world does not prevail, which happens when earthly pleasures and cravings predominate the desire for spiritual possessions, so that thereby the human being forgets about Me and, indeed, even the thought of Me is uncomfortable leading to his dismissal of Me. Anyone who strives to create an excessive sense of well-being for himself, i.e. for his body, be it through satisfying physical cravings, sensory and carnal desires or through an accumulation of material possessions without thinking of his neighbour, who therefore only strives for himself, is held captive by the world, he is My adversary’s willing tool, and he will never find the path to Me if he does not discard the longing for the earthly world, internalises himself and aspires towards spiritual wealth. Both together are not possible, for then he will serve two masters and will not serve either well. If you are looking for Me you must gaze heavenwards, for I Am above and not below.... Below is My adversary’s realm where you still linger with your body, but your soul can always lift itself up into My kingdom, to Me. Even though the body is still in My adversary’s realm, the soul can nevertheless always rise into spheres beyond the earth, and that is what I demand of someone who wants to find Me, serve Me and thus be one of My Own. Then the spiritual spark in him will unite itself with the eternal Father-Spirit, for if he strives towards Me in all seriousness his heart will also be awash with love, which has nothing in common with worldly love. This love will manifest itself towards the next person, in which case the human being is making contact with Me already.... he renounces what belongs to the world, he gives and thus serves his neighbour and, because I decreed this commandment he also serves Me as His Lord. Worldly love, however, is a form of selfish love, the human being should combat this love if he wants to attain bliss. Consequently, he must also combat his love for the world and try to fulfil the soul’s wishes which, driven by the spirit within, will apply to spiritual possessions and demonstrate love for Me. For I alone Am the Master you should serve if you want to become blissfully happy....
