Mundo... Bienes aparentes... Tesoros espirituales en el más allá...

El mundo con todos sus tesoros nunca podrá reemplazaros el sentimiento de cercanía de Dios a vosotros los seres humanos, como tampoco podrá aseguraros la felicidad eterna en el reino espiritual. Solo da bienes aparentes, y estos bienes aparentes se desintegran en la nada cuando el ser humano deja la tierra. Por otra parte, lo que el hombre recibe del reino espiritual es duradero, es un tesoro del mayor valor porque puede trabajar con ello, y así aumentarlo constantemente, pero como también puede distribuir y siempre puede hacer feliz con eso a los pobres y, sin embargo, no perderá nada de su riqueza.

Si los hombres en la tierra considerara cuán poco les aportan sus deseos terrenales dirigidos y su actividad terrenal en comparación con el trabajo espiritual, entonces ya ganarían mucho, porque el reconocimiento de la inutilidad de los bienes terrenales, es ya un aumento de los bienes espirituales, y su esfuerzo por ello aumentaría con este reconocimiento. Pero el ser humano precisamente presta poca atención a estos pensamientos, y así permanece ignorante, y al final de su vida entrará vacío y pobre en las tinieblas del espíritu a las esferas donde sólo se valora la riqueza espiritual. No ha adquirido ninguna, porque mayoritariamente las personas de mente materialista carecen de amor que crea un equilibrio. Porque cada obra de amor en la tierra se acumula como riqueza espiritual y adquiere al alma su recompensa en el más allá... Saber y, por lo tanto, un bien espiritual con el cual puede trabajar.

Por eso el amor es lo más importante en la tierra, porque su efecto en el más allá es luz y poder, y luz y poder significa felicidad y bienaventuranza para el alma. Porque luz y poder es la irradiación de Dios, es la prueba de la cercanía de Dios, de Su amor y de Su gloria. Cuanto más profundo e íntimo es el amor de una persona, más firmemente se cierra a Dios, y más feliz se siente por Su cercanía, la reciprocidad del amor y la conciencia de poseer luz y poder en abundancia.

Pero todo esto se pierde para las almas que dejan la vida terrenal en la oscuridad del espíritu, que no son seguidos por obras de amor a la eternidad y que por lo tanto quedan en extrema pobreza y miseria en esferas donde siempre es de noche y no hay chispas de luz, mientras no despierte el amor en las almas, el amor por los que sufren, por las almas que están en la misma necesidad. Si el alma tiene la necesidad de darles para socorrerlas, entonces también podrá recibir y dar, pero sin amor permanecerá en pobreza espiritual por largos e interminables tiempos y no podrá adquirir ningún bien. Porque el amor sigue siendo la primera ley en la tierra como en el reino espiritual, que tiene que cumplirse absolutamente...

World – bogus goods.... spiritual treasures in the afterlife....

The world with all its treasures can never replace the human being's feeling of God's nearness, just as it can never secure them eternal bliss in the spiritual kingdom. It only hands out bogus goods, and these bogus goods disintegrate into nothing when the human being leaves the earth. On the other hand, what he receives from the spiritual kingdom is permanent, it is a treasure of greatest value, for he can work with it and thereby constantly increase it, but just as he can also hand out and constantly make poor people happy, and yet he will lose nothing of his wealth. If people on earth would consider how little their earthly directed desires and their earthly activity earn them in comparison to spiritual work, then they would already gain much, for the realisation of the worthlessness of earthly goods is already an increase in spiritual goods, and their striving for them would be increased by this realisation. But the human being pays little attention to these very thoughts and thus he remains ignorant, and at the end of life he will pass in spiritual darkness, empty and poor, into the spheres where only spiritual wealth is valued. He has not acquired any, for materially minded people usually lack the love which is compensating. For every activity of love on earth is stored up as spiritual wealth and earns the soul its reward in the beyond.... knowledge and thus a body of thought with which it can work. That is why love is the most important thing on earth, because its effect in the beyond is light and strength and light and strength signify happiness and bliss for the soul. For light and strength are the radiance of God, they are the evidence of God's nearness, of His love and His glory. The deeper and more intimate a person's love is, the more firmly he attaches himself to God and the more is he made happy by the feeling of His nearness, by the reciprocation of love and the awareness of possessing light and strength in abundance. But all this is lost to souls which leave earthly life in spiritual darkness, which are not followed by works of love into eternity and which therefore dwell in extreme poverty and destitution in spheres where there is night and no spark of light as long as love does not awaken in the souls, love for the fellow sufferer, for souls which are in the same need. If the soul has the urge to give to them in order to help them, then it will also be able to receive and give, however, without love it will remain in spiritual poverty, for endless long times, and will not be able to acquire any goods. For love remains the first law on earth as well as in the spiritual kingdom, which must be fulfilled without fail....
