El significado de la muerte de Jesús en la Cruz

Jesucristo murió en la Cruz por la humanidad entera, y esa muerte en la Cruz quiere la humanidad ponerla como una bagatela, come una sentencia de ejecución a un agitador de insurrección (al pueblo) o también como una leyenda que es inverosímil. Y por eso se privan los hombres ellos mismos todo derecho a la Misericordia de Dios, pues ellos no reconocen la Obra mayor de Misericordia, por lo tanto no puede tampoco manifestarse ante ellos la Misericordia de Dios. Y de ese modo la voluntad humana permanecerá siendo débil, esforzándose el enemigo de Dios a que los hombres sometan su voluntad a si mismos, es decir, el hombre no tendrá la fuerza de sustraerse a su influencia, si no reconoce la Obra Redentora de Cristo. El Sacrificio que Jesús trajo a la humanidad, jamás puede ser por ésta despreciado.

Mas si los hombres intentan denigrar la Obra Redentora de Cristo o rechazarla por completo, de ese modo son ellos del mismo espíritu como los hombres del tiempo de Jesús sobre la tierra, y así tienen ellos también que cargar con las mismas consecuencias, ellos tienen que prepararse a una gran destrucción, la que fue también la suerte de aquellos que persiguiron a Jesucristo en la tierra, los que no lo reconcieron como Hijo de Dios y Salvador del mundo. Pues aquellos hombres eran adictos de Satanás, ellos se dejaron influenciar tanto por éste, que todo lo que declaraba en favor de Jesucristo lo hostilizaban para hacerselo a Jesús imposible, para impedir Su éxito espiritual. Y la humanidad pretende ahora la exterminación de todo lo que aún evidencia de aquel tiempo, donde Jesús anduvo en la tierra, y en las mismas condiciones significa eso un caos, como era entonces el caso. Y moral y corporalmente repercutirá ese caos en una destrucción total que la voluntad humana no puede ya más prevenir.

La muerte de Cristo en la Cruz era lo único que podía aún cambiar el pensamiento de los hombres, es decir, la débil voluntad de los hombres, fue reforzada por el Sacrificio que Jesucristo trajo a los hombres, de tal manera que él podía, pues, oponer estabilidad a la demanda del adversario, sin que fuera dominado por él. El adherirse a Dios y profesar a Dios en Jesucristo es por tanto al mismo tiempo la garantía más segura para ello. Para que el hombre se deshaga del adversario. Una voluntad reforzada adquirió Jesucristo a los hombres por Su muerte en la Cruz. Mas el hombre no puede disponer si no de esa voluntad, porque él sin Jesucristo está aún dominado por el enemigo de Dios y su fuerza es mínima para que pueda liberarse de él.

Y de ahí, que lo que el mundo piensa hacer, de negar a Cristo, es de gran trascendencia, pues sí, la fuerza de resistencia es cada vez menor y la influencia del enemigo de Dios cada vez mayor, más fuerte. Y por eso delatará la conducta de los hombres cada vez más la falta de cariño, porque eso es la repercusión de ese influir, al que sólo la muerte en la Cruz de Jesús puede serle opuesto, para capturarlo. Las almas de los hombres están en gran preligro, pues ellas van a fracasar cuando se trate de confesar a Jesucristo ante el mundo. Únicamente la fe en la muerte de Jesús en la Cruz hace a los hombres capaces de ello, porque entonces la voluntad es de una fuerza tal que vence toda oposición. Y ese vigor de voluntad se la compró Jesucristo a los hombres por Su muerte en la Cruz.

Él los redimió de las ataduras del enemigo, si tan sólo creen ellos en Él.

Significance of Jesus’ crucifixion and consequences of rejection....

Jesus Christ died on the cross for the whole of humanity and humanity wants to describe this crucifixion as a minor point, as a sentence of execution for a national activist or even as an entirely unlikely myth.... Therefore people deprive themselves of every entitlement to God's mercy since they do not acknowledge this greatest work of mercy, hence God's mercy cannot express itself in them either. As a result their will remains feeble, God's adversary aims to subdue human will in his favour, i.e. the individual does not have the strength to resist this influence if he does not accept Christ's act of Salvation. Jesus' sacrifice on behalf of humanity can never be lessened by it. However, people who attempt to devalue or to completely invalidate Christ's act of Salvation resemble the people during Jesus' time on earth in spirit, thus they also have to accept the same consequences, they have to prepare themselves for much destruction as was the fate of those who were hostile towards Jesus Christ on earth, who refused to acknowledge Him as Son of God and Saviour of the world. Since those people were followers of Satan they allowed themselves to become so influenced by him that they opposed all evidence of Jesus Christ in order to belittle Him and to suppress His spiritual accomplishment.

And now humanity is striving to destroy what still testifies of Jesus' time on earth and, in comparison, this resembles the same chaos as took place in those days. Spiritually and physically this chaos will express itself in complete destruction which human will can no longer evade.... Christ's crucifixion was the only means to transform human thought on earth, i.e. Jesus Christ's sacrifice on behalf of humanity strengthened the fragile willpower of the human being, enabling him to resist the opponent's demands with conviction without becoming overwhelmed by him. Thus the acknowledgment of God in Jesus Christ is at the same time the most reliable guarantee for the human being to detach himself from the adversary. Jesus Christ's crucifixion has gained people a stronger will. The human being cannot apply this will in any other way since without Jesus Christ he would still be subject to the power of God's opponent and would lack sufficient willpower to liberate himself. Thus the intention of the world to deny Jesus Christ is extremely significant as it lessens the strength of resistance and constantly increases the influence of God's adversary. Humanity's conduct therefore reveals ever more heartlessness as a result of this influence which can only be offset and neutralised by Christ's crucifixion. The souls of human beings are in utmost danger because they will fail when they are expected to confess Jesus Christ before the world. Only the belief in Christ's crucifixion enables people to do so because only then is their will strong enough to overcome every resistance. And Jesus Christ paid for this strength of will for human beings with His death on the cross.... He has released them from the adversary's captivity if they believe in Him....
