Lujuria de carne.... Deseos terrenales.... Actividad de amor....
En la lujuria por la carne veis vosotros, los hombres el cumplimiento de vuestros deseos corporales y, por lo tanto, os recogíais en el disfrute terrenal. Pero lo ayuda al bienestar del cuerpo no es muy beneficioso para el alma, porque el alma solo puede desarrollarse progresivamente si no cede al deseo físico, es decir, si renuncia voluntariamente a todo lo que el cuerpo exige que se cumpla.... el hombre debe practicar el amor.... y, por lo tanto, siempre tiene que ayudar a su prójimo en todos los problemas del cuerpo y del alma.
El verdadero amor siempre querrá dar y, por lo tanto, también debe estar listo para obrar el amor cuando el semejante está angustiado. Esta actitud también es decisiva para la maduración del alma. Hasta cierto punta Dios evalúa el grado de amor cuando dos personas se conectan puramente físicamente. En cada situación, el hombre puede tener un efecto educativo y ennoblecedor sobre su prójimo, y la voluntad de este último es decisiva en cuanto así una conexión física es una bendición o no puede ser aprobada por Dios....
El amor divino, la misericordia y la paciencia sin extremadamente indulgentes con los hombres, y especialmente con aquellos que expresan su debilidad a Dios y Le piden fortaleza.... porque mientras el hombre pertenezca a la tierra, su deseo terrenal es mayor y, por lo tanto, más difícil de vencer.
Pero cuanto más lucha el hombre por reprimir los deseos terrenales, más notablemente le llega la fuerza para resistir los deseos terrenales sin violar el mandamiento a amar al prójimo.... porque el amor es la primera condición.... la persona amorosa solo está interesada en el bienestar de la otra persona y, por lo tanto, hará todo lo que se le requiera, porque el amor siempre es el dador y la persona amorosa nunca piensa en si misma. El amor que da siempre será agradable a Dios y, por lo tanto, el nivel de voluntad de dar es decisivo para el desarrollo superior del alma....

In carnal pleasure you humans see the fulfilment of your physical desires, and thus you indulge in earthly pleasure. But what helps the body to feel good is of little benefit to the soul, for the soul can only develop progressively if it does not give in to physical desire, that is, if it voluntarily renounces everything the body demands for its fulfilment.... Man should practice love.... and he must therefore always help his fellow human being in every need of body and soul. True love will always want to give and must therefore also be prepared to act in love when a fellow human being is in need. This attitude is also decisive for the maturing of the soul. To a certain extent, the degree of love is assessed by God when two people connect purely physically. A person can have an educating and ennobling effect on his fellow human being in every situation, and the will to do so is decisive as to whether a physical union is a blessing or cannot exist before God.... Divine love, mercy and patience exercises the greatest forbearance with people, and especially with those who present their weakness to God and appeal to Him for strength.... For as long as the human being belongs to earth, his earthly desires are also greater and therefore more difficult to overcome. Yet the more the human being struggles to suppress earthly desires, the more noticeably he gains the strength to resist earthly desires without violating the commandment to love his neighbour.... For love is the first condition.... The loving person will always keep only the good of the other person in mind and will therefore do everything that is asked of him, because love is always the giver and the loving person never thinks of himself. Giving love will always be pleasing to God and therefore the degree of willingness to give is decisive for the soul's higher development....
